Vlad completed several projects for me, including installing flashing to prevent water penetration under a second-floor window, repairing and painting rotting door jambs on two doors, building custom storage units in both my linen closet and coat closet, and adjusting a door that wasn't closing properly. What impressed me most was his reliability and communication. Vlad was punctual, kept me informed throughout the entire process--before, during, and after the work--and left my home spotless when he finished. The quality of his work was outstanding, and he completed everything in a timely manner. I was absolutely satisfied with the results and will definitely be hiring Vlad again for future projects. The trees they planted were not the right species and they were planted wrong according to one of their crew members - the owner of company was going to charge me to re-do the work and at full price! The wife/owner was nice enough to take out the trees which were DEAD by July and the husband/owner never contacted me again. I treat my contractors very well and I was insulted after $ tips, great referrals, and great reviews that I made sure I provided, Frider (company owner) didn't come through for me. My response to comment below; FrIder stop. You knew we wanted evergreens and your only knowledgeable crew member who's worked in plant husbandry told your wife and me that the planting was not done right. You didn't manage this business relationship well.

The crew of 5 or so workers were there before 7am and they were mostly done by 1pm on my ranch house. The supervisor was there for the entire job and his supervisor dropped by several times throughout the day, as well being there for the start and finish. They did a great job SAFELY. I've cut a lot of trees down (when I was 40 years younger) and I think that if you want trees removed these are guys I trust! I do think that you pay for the quality of work that you receive. I've seen cheaper services and I've also seen what happens when a big tree drops on a property. He told me that the job would take about 3 days, which I also thought was a bit long based on my experience with stone masons but, again, I went along with it. To make a long story short, after he started the wall, he revised the estimate upwards twice, and two months went by before the job was finished. About half way thru the job, I noticed that the wall was not level. He fixed it, but didn't offer any explanation for why his line wasn't level. After two months worth of aggravation, I ended up paying about 70% over the original estimate, and was left with a sloppy looking wall. A complete amateur job.
