Beautiful place . Well decorated . BUT! one star because they claimed beer was out ( keep in mind you bring your own alcohol/ beer ) . After claiming " beer was out " we found x6 24 packs under a table next to the bar . Why was it there and why wasn't it placed in the coolers or fridge ?! we brought plenty of ice to put all the beer to get cold . When we questioned it to the bartender her face went pale ~ she didn't know what to say . Later claimed " she didn't know it was there . At the end of the party we wanted to bring whatever alcohol was left . Again claimed nothing was left . When asked to see the cameras to verify alcohol that was in the room next to bar wasn't ours . The "owner" ( he wasn't the owner !) dodged the questioned . He got upset from us insisting and then brought x2 24 modela packs and threw it at us and said ~ " here takes those i'll give them to you just so you guys won't keep on crying saying they're your beers. How's that reaction not questionable. Pretty simple solution for him to just show us the camera to verify alcohol wasn't ours and that's it . But no. If you plan to rent this place just mark your alcohol ( ALL OF IT!!!) just so you won't have the same problem. read more

We loved the DJ , shout out to Jose his was an amazing DJ. The decorations where on point, bartender ask the hosts what are favorite drinks are and every time we came to the bar they were ready. Only think that many ppl ask was air conditioning. It was on, but that day was very hot. But thank you we had a blast and my daughter's had fun. read more

DO NOT host your parties at this location. Mario (the manager I believe) is rude and unprofessional. He grabbed one of the children at the party by the arm and pulled him hard. Yes, the child was running around being a kid but instead of going to the parent he grabbed the child by the arm and pulled the child to him. When I confronted him about this he tried to say I was lying and was making it up. Mind you, everyone at the table saw it happen. Before the pulling the child by the arm incident the first encounter I had with him was when I was dropping off my kid for a dance practice. As soon as I entered the building he walked straight to me and very rudely told me to leave the venue. I understand that people in the past may have messed up the set up on the tables but the tables were bare. Even then, I understand having a rule on no parents staying for the practice he did not approach me in a professional manner. If you are looking for a place to have your guest enjoy the party then my recommendation is to not do business with them. As a guest I did not enjoy myself while he was there. read more

The venue is nice, the service is horrible. I came to a 15th party celebration and the owners looked so mad and irritated as if they just wanted the party to end so they could leave. My husband tried to use the restroom inside and they locked it up and the party celebration wasn't even over it was 11:20pm. The man cleaning up said there's another one outside so we went outside and they locked them too! Wth! The worst experience ever in a venue location. I've been to Rancho Vista golf club venue and the service there is exceptional, the staff is professional. I didn't read the other reviews about AV lancaster venue but did notice a 3 star on yelp. I definitely don't recommend AV venue to anyone. ( I just noticed the venue manager responded to my review, her comment is irrelevant to my experience about the rude customer service, I'm an adult and my husband is an adult, not sure what she means about her "reseving her right"?and not allowing minors to drink?, she must be really naive and uneducated if she can't understand my experience in her venue, I only drank water there, I didn't drink any alcohol and I'm not a minor) I reserve my right to freedom of speech and express my experience about this horrible customer service at the AV venue. read more

I'm so happy we went with AV Banquet Hall. We had my daughters Quince and let me tell you it was absolutely beautiful, it literally took my breath away. Food was delicious all staff was so friendly and amazing. We had an open bar and the Bar Tender was just so much fun. Even got my center pieces done by them. We literally just had to worry about bringing the dessert table. I will definitely book again with no doubt. read more

Bathrooms are outside and only had toilet paper in two or stalls is not very clean or handicap accessible because it's quite a walk to the bathrooms. Mario shows the venue to other potential customers while you're having your party in the middle of the event! Make sure your contract is all written down, Mario changes his mind throughout what's included and the alcohol. Make sure you keep track of your payments he tends to have short term memory loss with the fact that we had to prove we paid fully by providing evidence of payments. Pretty venue though. (Not sure what the reply the owner provided has to do with the review, we have three daughters under the age of 10 and all they drank was water and soda which was provided. Didn't see anyone get kicked out for related issues either and it was a fairly small party.) read more

The location is small yet somewhat accommodating. The place was set up nicely however their set up is very inefficient. Every guest has to walk up with their glass to be served refreshments or have a beverage. At least half of the guests will have to walk towards the back of the venue to get either drinks or food. This is very annoying when people start dancing and you now have to maneuver yourself through a crowd just to get something like water. I am not sure if the food is something they handle but I'd really recommend that if that's the case you hire your own catering company. None of the guests I came with liked the food. The securities are very unprofessional to say the least. There are either times when they're standing looking nonchalant or other times when they act as if they've implemented martial law. They question everything and, at least in my experience, find it okay to harass the guests. They kept walking throughout the venue flashing theirs lights at peoples faces. I understand that securities are needed at parties and I know they're importance however there is a difference in keeping a place under control and safe and just harassing people. I'd recommend you hire your own securities as well. One thing I liked was the customer service from the servers, including the bartenders. Most are young yet very professional. For the venue owners: Find new recipes and hire new security. FOR THOSE CONSIDERING THIS VENUE: Look somewhere else, I know I would. This place is not horrible but the cons definitely outweigh the pros on this one. If you must go with this place make sure what I have mentioned is taken care of. read more

I chose AV Banquet Hall to have my daughters Sweet 16 and I could not be more grateful to have found them. Mario instantly made me feel at peace, he was so professional and they have the operation down to a science. Things could have not gone any smoother. Mario guided me through the entire process and he really knows his industry. Their catering is done by Rio (Brazilian Grill) and they were amazing too! Andres helped me set up my menu and he was also so kind and made things so easy. The food was by far the best "banquet food" I've ever tasted and I got so many compliments from my guests! Elizabeth did the décor and set up and honestly, wow. I had seen some of her work and knew she was talented. I gave her minimal directions and just let her do her thing. She executed EXACTLY what we imagined. Every little detail was perfect. Last minute I need extra tables and linens and Mario was running around town to make it happen for me. I felt like he was a part of the family, he wanted things to be just as perfect as we did. He never made me feel like I was driving him crazy (which I'm sure I did at some point). All of the team had great attitudes and were on top of it! DJ Chango was provided to me by the hall and he was awesome too! He was a perfect balance of getting the crowd engaged without being obnoxious, he was very flexible as I was making changes to the schedule. Mario helped tend to the bar with his partner Diana and my guests had a blast with them, they were fun and made sure we were always taken care of. I have very high expectations and was not even the least bit disappointed, they really delivered. The pricing is very reasonable!! I would've paid double for the quality and service I received.
