One of the few restaurants that was open on Armistice Day. I was promptly seated, and was kindly asked to move to a different table a few minutes later because they had given me a table that was reserved for another party.
I ordered the La Landaise galette (10,60) which came with greens, smoked duck, goat cheese, apples, and honey. The galette itself was a little on the thicker side than what I'm used to, but nonetheless had a great flavor. The duck pieces were also more generous than what I had expected. I was also surprised with how much goat cheese they put in - most other restaurants skimp heavily on this part, but I had so much goat cheese in mine it was almost (..almost.) too much.
The pairing of the apples, duck, and goat cheese was very interesting. Everything worked well together, and it was a very satisfying meal. Not the best galette item I've had here, but definitely wasn't disappointed with my meal. The workers were very quick and kind as well. read more
