The service was poor, I had to take it somewhere else to have the codes tested and read. After having my car tested I needed an alternator so I called this store to order one they said they had one but when I picked it up they didn't have it so I had to wait around for them to order one. When it finally came inI brought the alternator but the worker never told me it wasn't a new one it was a rebuilt alternator which i never knew they sold. I had the mechanic put this part in and it was a piece of crap! So I had to take it out of my car and return it and found out it wasn't new so I had to buy a new one and put that one in my car. I would not suggest this OReillys!

You have to want to come here, it's well hidden a block east of Main Street and a block south of Appleton Avenue. It's sort-of behind Harvey Moy's Chinese restaurant. Grant is only a block long street that you can access from Grand Avenue (intersects with Main Street.) It's a huge store with a large inventory and a machine shop (if you're into DIY auto repairs.) Frankly, I don't do much shade tree work on my cars anymore because when I open the hood on a modern car, there isn't much under there I recognize anymore. I do happen to own a couple of more vintage autos that I can play with under the hood. I have a lawn tractor with a snow blower that isn't easy to see at night, and I wanted to install a yellow strobe to be seen at night. Most strobes you buy these days have plugs designed for power outlets. (I'm old enough that I still call those the cigarette lighter.) Darrin, the counter guy, went back into the antique, paper catalogs at his station and found exactly what I needed. He disappeared into the warehouse and returned with just what I needed. (Which, I might add, was attached surprisingly quickly and easily and, it works!) As you can see, there is also a large showroom with tools, chemicals, accessories and the like. If you need it, they probably have it. If they don't, they'll get it for you.

Turns out only Napa had the kit at the cheapest price. I figured given my age of my car, I wasn't going to sink a heavy amount of money on the brake and rotor kit. So ordered it at near 5 p.m. after work and marked it to be shipped to this store. 30 mins later, got a call from the clerk at that time, and she said it would be there the next day. Next day, went in, wasn't too hard to find. Though it was in a well concealed lot. Clerk was courteous and after a bit of digging around, found the packages. I also picked up some other stuff from the store, Permatex anti sieze and Sil Glyde as well. overall easy experience ordering online at napa and having it delivered. will do again.

They over charge for parts, meaning that they will charge you more for original parts than a dealer…read morewould. Once they are working on the car they will replace parts that may or may not need to be replace. You will never know. At the end of the service they informed me that my check engine light was on and a Solenoid needed to be replaced. I told them not to replaced it because I had it replaced with an after market part and still had the original. All of the sudden the check engine light went off and has not gone on since. They are good sales people, they will get you to spend more money.

I got an oil change and they diagnosed several other issues with the car. I chose to not pursue the work right away but mentioned that my tires weren't holding air. Turns out they were 10 years old and dry rotted. Chuck's was able to order new tires and get them mounted and aligned all in the same day. Every conversation I had with multiple employees was professional but friendly. I was temporarily in town and had this work done, but based on these great experiences, I'd go out of my way to go to this auto shop again.

The rental company wanted to charge me for a tow and a full tire replacement, talk about stressful! It was a Saturday and most shops were either closed or too far away. I found Rick's Car Care on Yelp and saw they were listed as open until noon. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door saying they were actually closed on Saturdays. I decided to knock anyway, and I'm so glad I did! To my surprise, a gentleman named Jimmi answered the door. After I explained the situation, he graciously offered to take a look at my tire, despite being closed for the day. He quickly assessed the damage and was able to fix it with a simple plug. Not only did Jimmi go out of his way to help me, but he also treated me fairly and didn't try to overcharge me just because I was from out of town. The whole repair was fast, VERY affordable, and I was back on the road in under 10 minutes. Jimmi was an absolute lifesaver! His kindness and willingness to help a stranger truly made my day. When I went to pick up my car, I was told a different final price and he said it was due to taxes. Even factoring in the sales tax, the final total was $20 over what it should have been. This place apparently likes to change the final cost from the other reviews submitted. Very disappointed. I thought I found a good place to go to for car repairs but I guess not.
