i had a bulb that was out on my headlight on the driver side. Conner took care of this for me. He replaced both bulbs on my vehicle.

If you need a part for your car they either have it or will order it. We have ordered parts through them & received quality products at reasonable prices. The staff is always friendly & helpful. We went in to get a new blade for our rear wiper. Not knowing which one would work the employee selected a couple & came out to our car to get the right fit. If you can do your own work on your vehicle then do it. Mechanics charge a fortune for repair work that could easily be done for a much cheaper price by your own hands. Auto Zone has great prices to save you money too. read more

I arrived at AutoZone here in Valpo as I needed to get a blown taillight replaced and decided to handle it myself. While looking over the parts I would need I met the Manager Eric who asked how they could help. Eric recommended the parts I needed and offered to assist to complete the work. Not only did he do an amazing job with the part and his knowledge but while doing the work he assisted a team member with a question they had. Eric showed a great moment of leadership and did it with a smile. I will be a Valpo AutoZone customer for life. read more

Troy Little fixed my car mirror super quickly and charged nothing! I'm so ignorant when it comes to cars and was worried it was going to be a big issue or expensive to replace and he assured me it was a quick simple fix!! He was very nice and didn't make me feel bad at all for not knowing what to do!!! read more

This store had helpful staff behind the counter. Thanks for good communication over the phone.

Awesome guys in there! Really helped me out today. The guy walked across the street for me and jumped my car! Thanks so much

I went to AutoZone because of a warning light. I went inside to have someone check my truck. I have been going here for years and never had a problem getting help except for 9/21/21. The people wanted me to do the checking. I informed them I have been here before and no one had a problem helping me. There were only women working in the store. Every other time there was a man that would help. I have had the same problem at the AutoZone in Portage where a woman was working would not help. They want to claim Covid restrictions. I have ask other woman at AutoZone for help and had no problem, but today was the problem. There is no science that prevents anyone from helping people with their vehicles. There is no science that proves you can get Covid by touching someone's vehicles. This nonsense MUST END! read more

This place doesn't even deserve one star. Poor customer service with a sarcastic and rude staff. I was treated horribly by Katrina today, November 25, 2018. I have bought a lot of parts and other items from Auto zone and I will not be buying at this store again. It's not a customers fault that you clearly hate your job. read more

My car abruptly started giving me trouble. I don't know much about cars, but I had a feeling it was the battery. We jumped the car and took it to AutoZone. They tested the battery and also did a load test and said that the battery was not the problem. We figured maybe it was the starter or the alternator or something electrical. So I took the car in for service and was charged $300. Diagnosis = my battery is dead. Completely dead. Tested zero. Everything else is working fine. Thanks AutoZone for making me spend more than twice what I should've spent if you would have done your job properly. Again I don't know much about cars but I would think testing a battery is pretty simple. Maybe it's not but if you advertise that service, you need to do it right. New battery installed and car working just fine. read more

I popped into Auto Zone for some new windshield wipers and was blown away by the customer service. Not only did they ensure I was getting the correct size, but they were quick and polite. They also put the wipers on my car even though it was rather chilly outside and dark. Plus they filled up my wiper fluid and even sprayed some WD40 on a rusty spring. This is how a major chain can provide amazing service. Kudos. read more

They were super! Patient with my anxiety over my car issues. Doug installed my battery for me and when it turned out that one wasn't working, they upgraded me free of charge! And I thought my favorite part of the whole experience was going to be that I was mistaken for a 20-something year old, but there was no better sound or feeling than my car starting back up after having had so many problems with it lately! Thank you, Doug, and the rest of the crew at AutoZone in Valparaiso on Calumet. You are amazing! read more

Not only did I have to hunt down an associate who definitely made eye contact with me before he walked away, I was treated like I had no business being in the store. I went for a specific product that my mechanic suggested I purchase, and every associate I had to interact with scoffed at my purchase. I don't know if it was because I'm a woman or look young/inexperienced, but I don't appreciate being talked down to. Will avoid at all costs in the future. read more

Went to Autozone because my engine light popped on. I was in a panic because I was traveling. I was impressed with the customer service. Not only did they check my light. But it was only a loose connection and they fixed. I'm sure a garage would have charged me big money! Great store! read more

If you need a place to go and have no idea what to look for Auto needs go to Autozone they help me out very good . they have the best employees their friendly environment. then down the street at advance auto Good job Guys read more

Nice people, very helpful, they had everything I needed to fix my auto issue. I would recommend them

Great place... This is the only parts store I go to anymore, even though it's a little out of my way. The people here are wonderfully helpful and very friendly. A lot of car folks talk about the "parts monkey" behind the counter not know what they're doing, screwing stuff up, etc. That's not the case at all here. They very much know what they're doing/talking about, and go out of their way to listen to a problem you're having and help you troubleshoot. In this case the employees really do make the store what it is. Hope AutoZone appreciates them as much as they should. read more

Today I had some problems with my windshield wipers. Marie was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She earned my respect and my gratitude for her able assistance. When a further complication arose, she called on Eric. He quickly jumped in to help out and spent several minutes with me and my car to help resolve the issue. Both were highly professional. One reason I like this place is no one tried to sell me anything I didn't need. I highly recommend this location. read more

Will never return. My son bought a car battery from there and they installed it, incorrectly!! Then afterwards his car horn wouldn't stop honking, which caused it to go into theft mode. Had to take it Brown Tire and they had to do a hard reset on it. Which cost me an additional $46!!! Auto Zone installed the battery incorrectly which caused a short circuit in the computer system. The manager and employees didn't help at Auto Zone. They said they installed it correctly and never came back out to help. They said they couldn't do anything more. They did what they were asked and assured me it was done correctly. WRONG!!!!They even suggested to remove the horn fuse to my son or his key FOB was broken. Again, the car worked perfectly fine until they installed the battery!!!! They didn't even apologize or try to help us fix it. They put the battery in wrong, said something is wrong with your car and went back in the store. Poor customer service!!!! read more
