The next weekend, I install the parking brake warning light. Doesn't work. I call to report the problem, ask if they require me to return only the defective piece, or the entire kit? Of course, the entire kit. Perform continuity test, determine the cheap 10 cent switch never closes to complete the circuit. Switch replacement would require disassembling the switch, so I call again, and am asked "do I want a replacement or a refund?". "A replacement would be great!", I respond. They check while I wait, discover they have no more, tell me refund will be put back on my card when they receive item. I've checked other sources, no one currently has this in stock. today, I wrapped the kit, and took it to the post office. of course, I now have to pay to insure and return the defective item. Ideas? How about a website that won't let you order "out of stock" items? How about keeping one of something on the shelf until the return window closes for recently filled orders just in case something is defective? How about defective return authorizations emailing a label which includes shipping costs to return the item? In the end, I paid for shipping, and the two items I really wanted are the two items I don't have.

Watch out for these guys…read more I wanted a simple paint job on my antique car and so far I have spent many tens of thousands of dollars and they haven't even finished stripping it. JW told me they would charge me half the normal labor rate for stripping the car. But he charged me the full rate anyway. They get their cheap labor and hand sand the car without air tools or media blasting and then charge their $70 an hour rate for invoicing. Their body guy works at a sick snails pace and their shop guys aren't any better. Their lackadaisical work pace just inflates your bill. If you have a budget to get your car painted or any body work, you better triple it and add a year. I have filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and am considering legal action now. Consider yourself warned.
