Had a great experience yesterday at this location. I needed a driver side window shade. The salesman told me to take it out to my car to see if it fit. I thought he was going to join me, but he helped another customer. I took the shade out to the car, opened the package and found two shades inside!! Perfect for my needs. I attached one to the driver's window. Very easy to do. Then went back inside and paid for it. Yes in today's world this shopkeeper let try this before buying. Thank you so much for the trust!!! Went to Autozone to get my battery and alternator checked out due to some light indicators. My wife and I went inside with our one year old child, and an associate came out to check my battery. He said that it's my alternator, and that my battery had 27% leftover until it was completely done for. So we asked him if there was any way he could charge our battery to at least get my car home (i live 5 minutes away) he said "it'll take about three hours to charge, because I have alot of other batteries to charge. or you could come pick up the battery tomorrow" So i went back inside and asked someone else if they had a machine to boost the battery (because that's what AutoZone does to help -- boost batteries with the machine). Christian, the associate I spoke to said "we don't have that machine here" which I thought was weird but ok, why would he lie right? MIND YOU its like 90 degrees outside at 7:30PM I call reinforcements, (stepdad and uncle) to come save us because we had the baby and it was hot. My dad gets here, and my dad and uncle went inside to ask them for the battery jump to get my car started. the associate CHRISTIAN came out with a machine.. looked at me when he got to the car and was like a deer in headlights! He then pointed at me and was like "Ohhhhh.." (at that moment he knew he messed up) I asked him "isn't that the machine you said you didn't have and you made sure you didn't have that machine like 30 minutes ago?" and his response was "yeah I'm sorry, I'm new here and I'm still learning new policies" So you're trained to pick and choose who you want to help? we then told him, "we asked you for help almost an hour ago, and you see that we had a one year old with us." told him that he pulled a dick move, and he didn't say a word the rest of the time he sat there helping us. the fact that the employees saw two women, and a child. (ONE YEAR OLD CHILD) with a dead battery at a facility where they help people with vehicle problems (THE WHOLE POINT OF GOING TO AUTOZONE) and they turned us down saying they didn't have a machine to help me with my issue. two men walk in (dad and uncle) and all of a sudden they have the machine, boosted my battery and I made it home in 5 minutes. This was the worst experience I've ever had and this type of behavior was ridiculous. read more

I needed some help to get a scratch out on the paint on my door while traveling for business in San Antonio and found this AutoZone close to where I was working. Rueben was my Zone Rep (I think his name was something else because he said his name was something else but as he saw I was a fun type or customer he said my name is Rueben). Lol. Anyway I told him my car needs and that I was on a budget and didn't want to spend a lot because I'm traveling so he took me to the scratch repair isle and helped me pick a towel and TurtleWax product and he explained to me how I was going to use the product. And guess what? It Worked!!!! The scratch is removed. Because I was traveling I gave the remainder of the product to the hotel valet for his car. So I recommend this AutoZone in San Antonio and if you visit say hey to Rueben for me. read more

Came into the store needing to buy an oil filter for my Kia Stinger, told the rep and he sold me the wrong one, came back brought him my vin to ensure it was the correct one and yet he still managed to sell me the incorrect filter. Poor service, train your staff better on the knowledge base of what they are providing. If they are not certain they need to ask for assistance rather than guessing an item is correct. read more

I had replaced my car battery earlier in the day but found out it continued to keep dying. I asked if I could get a diagnostic test done. Some Edgar looking guy got the deer in headlights look and lazily said, "uhhh we like close in 30 minutes. It's a whole process. You should come back. We open at 8 am." Yes. If I could give no stars I would. Walked in just to check my car battery & heard the associate telling another associate when it came to that customer to send him somewhere else. After waiting for about 10min , i approached another associate Martin G. who was just standing their and asked if he can check my battery, thinking he had not heard me I said excuse me Can you check my battery and he replied back with "im not deaf I can hear you" so I continued and said ok so can you please check my battery and he proceeded to ignore me. The location on Wurzbach was awful. If I could, I would give 0 stars. I walked in to buy some parts and noticed one worker helping some customers, while another worker was standing at his computer drinking coffee. I assumed he was busy since he saw me standing in line and kept staring at his device... another customer walked in about 2 minutes after me and he immediately asked how he could help her. I was confused and shocked that he never offered to help me as I was standing there patiently. The customers that were being helped were even shocked that the worker never acknowledged me to assist. This worker realized that I had been standing in line, waiting for him to help me, and he STILL walked outside to help the other customer. He could've righted this wrong but he didn't. I was so disappointed, I ended up leaving. I do not recommend stopping by this location. read more

Look...you've really gotta be on your "A game" to get five stars from me. I've been in and out of this location several times over the past several years because my brother and I eat at the Mexican joint next door. This last experience was fantastic! This past week I had some trouble starting my Honda. Took it by AutoZone for them to run a test. Long story short... Ended up back there the next day because I was still having a little bit of trouble. Decided that I should just replace my three year old battery. Gabriel took care of me both days. Not only did he take care of me, he took EXCELLENT care of me. The battery in my Honda gave him a little trouble... But Gabriel worked like a Trojan out in the hot sun in the middle of the parking lot putting in my new battery. He took great care of me! Wonderful experience. read more

I came here for some new wiper blades. I received such amazing service!! I am from New York, and not familiar with cars at all. So there is always that thought of people trying to rip you off or sell you something you don't need, anyways the gentleman who helped me was sooo sweet and so helpful. He put the wiper blades on for me and explained to me tricks that will make the blades last longer. I explained I was here for a few more months he said if I needed anything to come back and he would be more than glad to help me!! It's so nice having great service! read more

Love that they do the free diagnostic test. How nice of them to offer that service for free. Pretty convenient all you have to do is walk up the counter and they'll come right out to your car, hookup the computer and help you out. The staff was very nice here and helpful. went in to get wiper fluid.2 registers open. bith have customers. not fast transaction.the one one left leaves, lady taking care of him leaves too. walks about a bit as if busy.. does announce to another employee she done for day going home. ok. i see three other employees going about. now i dont know if they work registers or what .an man who had left came back. so now there 2 of us in line.not bad except the man is having a lot of trouble with his card and it us taking quite a while. i can barely stand im leaning on my cane if there was a chair i would have sat down. i want to leave . finally im next. i tell the young man i need some help i need wiper fluid . he quickly tells me they can not pour chemicals in our cars.mean while i hadnt said i needed him to i just said i cant lift the bottle.he said they can do oil and something else but nit chemicals.mean while i have been coming here for YEARS and was alway helped. they get washer shelf ring me up put in my car. he didnt offer for me just buy and put in car.oh yeah they have discounts for military sign i guess i would have to had my former commanders with me to show him my id for that.i will never use them again. 2 auto stores on babcock more than willing to help me. past on this crappy service already to non yelp ers. now the site wont let me edit my spellings wtf read more
