One of them approached me and said, "yeah?" (Welcoming, I know), to which I responded that I needed to get my vehicle looked at. He chuckled patronizingly and said "yeah well we close in an hour so you'll have to bring it back tomorrow." Even after letting him know that I had limped the vehicle to his shop, and that it had died multiple times along the way - he turned to me, said "don't forget to close that hood" and then walked away. When a business owner exercises a lack of prudence in keeping their business hours adequately updated, the community which they serve suffers the most. Despite Nesloney coming well recommended from a neighbor, they have since agreed that they will not be coming back here. I'd admonish every person reading this review to save yourself time, money, and a headache and just taking your vehicle somewhere that treats you with dignity and appreciates your business, and I can assure you that Nesloney Auto Repair is not it.

I was advised by Eric it was my starter and was quoted $800. to replace it. ($425 for the part and $375 for labor) I was also advised he would have to keep the car and it wouldn't be ready until noon the following day. Having replaced a starter before myself, I left and advised the shop that I was going to get a second opinion. I pulled in to an auto repair shop down West Ave and asked them what they would charge to replace my starter and was quoted $385. ($295 for the part, $95 for labor) I left my car with them at 3pm and it was ready by 4:30pm. I told my family and friends about the gouging attempt by Nesloney Auto and it is no longer a business they or I would recommend. Buyer beware!!

Instead of just telling me where the office was, one if the mechanics stopped & went to get the gentleman. Come to find out, it was the owner. He was 100% pure gentleman. He came out with an umbrella, yup one of our rare rain days. He walked me to my vehicle, asked me exactly what I needed. I explained all I needed was the inspection. He then walked me to the office to have a seat & wait. When he came back he informed me that the low tire light was on. He checked all the air in my tires, & filled the low one. The light is off. Mind you, I'd taken my vehicle to Firestone to fix my tires, & they failed. If I need any vehicle repairs - I'll come back here. Thank you for the kindness & superior service. Thank you for going above & beyond.

The paint job didn't match whatsoever, very blotchy and overspray all over the place. Paint started to chip off 3 weeks after they had repainted the front bumper. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. If you want more info on my experience before you decide to take your vehicle there call Carlo @ 956-754-0333. I was gonna hire an attorney and sue them, but they're not worth my time. Alvaro the owner is a piece of shit. He told me that if I wanted tongo to court let's do it. I told him that i wanted him to pay for the repairs that were gonna have to be done at another shop(because his shop sucked) and he said he'd rather spend $5,000 hiring an attorney than to have to pay $2,000+- to make it right. If I can save one person the heartache, I'm happy.

But the gentlemen there were honest and fair with the amount of work needed. Most importantly, they were surprisingly time sufficient with how long they had my vehicle in the shop. With just a couple days 3-4, I'd say that's a decent turnaround. Plus, courteous enough to give me a ride back home when I didn't have a ride. The way a shop treats their customers says a lot. We brought our vehicle in with multiple issues affecting multiple systems (A/C and brakes), and both were fully addressed and resolved, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome! Details of timelines, diagnostic findings, recommendations of work to be performed, and cost estimates were communicated clearly and professionally. When the A/C issue proved to be more complex and challenging than expected, they were frank and honest with us, and they honored their original estimate, even though they obviously spent significantly more labor than originally quoted. We will absolutely be using Tieken's services again in the future.

I have a Mini Cooper and not all shops service my car (you know what they say about everything being bigger in Texas - that also applies to cars), plus the Mini dealership was trying to charge me outrageous fees. Long story short, I ended up entrusting my Mini to Tieken and they did a good job swapping my old brakes for new ones. They did it within a couple of hours and saved me time and money. Employees were friendly and informative. The only hiccup I have to report is that they seemed to struggle trying to reset the brake sensor on my dashboard, but the solution was one YouTube video tutorial away and I was able to do it by myself. I had a positive experience and will definitely go back for simple repairs such as this one.
