Worst experience ever. Went to get spark plugs for my SUV. Girl at counter looked up my vehicle and gave me the plugs that were supposed to fit. Went home and tried to put them in but they were the wrong size thread. Took them back and got a refund for one plug. When I went back and told her she made a mistake she was totally non sympathetic about all the problems she had caused with her screw ups. I finally got my refund which I have to wait 4 business days to go back on my card. This place is a joke. STAY AWAY from here they don't give a crap. read more

Great experience. GT was so, so helpful. He spent a lot of time & energy making sure we got the right wiper and clip for my car, and after all that he thoroughly cleaned my windshield for me. I went asked for a part for my truck and was told they didn't even know how to look it up so I had to look it up and when I went to give them the part number from their website the service provider just walked off , I had to wait on the next provider to come over and when they looked up the part they said it was at another store and I needed to go there and didn't offer to have it shipped to this store by where I live. I don't like to write bad reviews and say negative things and I always avoid saying something negative without a positive but it was a overall poor experience and it looked like I wasn't the only customer receiving the same experience read more

They offer free battery testing and include battery installation for free when you buy a battery from them, which is great. I'd bought a battery here a little before the pandemic started and wasn't able to get it installed the same day because it was dark out and they said they didn't do the free installations after dark, and I could come back another time. I tried several times and was told that they were short staffed and couldn't do it right then, and then the pandemic happened and I didn't get back for a few months. One of the employees was fairly rude and unhelpful when I tried to get it replaced, saying that it was "ridiculous" for me to come back more than a month after buying the battery, without citing any policy. (The way I see it, the installation is included in the purchase and it shouldn't matter when it actually takes place; it's the same amount of work regardless of the day or month and it's mainly because of their policies and staffing it had taken so long...) Anyway, another employee named Turtle was super helpful and volunteered to come replace my battery, saying he always likes to take care of his customers. He also told me about a rebate program to get money back for my old battery, which I didn't even know about. Much appreciation to Turtle for a job well done. AutoZone needs more people like him, committed to ensuring good customer service. read more

CHECK INTO THE ZONE...AUTO-ZONE. I almost yelled this as I walked in the store but then I realized I needed them to check my battery....I didn't want to distract them from their duty with my beautiful singing voice. I had to wait 5-10 but they checked my battery and alternator FO FREE! Everything was fine and I ended up having to take it to a mechanic nearby but Autozone did a great job. The staff were friendly and fairly efficient. If I have battery problems this will always be my first place to go! read more

So I happened to have a problem with my car battery over the weekend while in South City so since I had previously purchased a new battery less than two years ago at another AutoZone I figured I would stop by this location since it was nearby. When I first arrived I explained to the associate that I was having an issue with my battery, he graciously grabbed the tester and headed out to check it for himself. After about 30-45 seconds he confirmed that the battery was bad and still under warranty. He headed back inside to get a replacement to swap out. I didn't have my receipt, but luckily their system tracks all purchases and warranties so no receipt was needed. The entire process took only about 10-15 minutes before I was back on the road at no additional cost. read more

I give this Autozone 5 stars. First it doesn't hurt its behind my house. Can't tell you how many times in the last 20 years I have had to take out a dead battery(yeah i said it) and take it to this store. Lucky for me it's so close. i love that women work there and help me fix and maintain my car. I recently had a leak in the power steering. It was so cool when this lady with a better manicure then me put in the fluid for me. She went out for a smoke break and just decided to not only assist me but now i know more about my car. Went to this location to get a blinker bulb. Lady sold me the wrong one. Went back the next day to exchange it. I find the correct bulb, but his computer won't let him sell it (I'm guessing it was old or something). He went and got a different pack 5 different times before telling me that was the wrong bulb for me anyway. He looks my vehicle up in the computer, and then tells me my car is not a 2009, but a 2010, and we walk outside for him to check. Then, he is insisting on me buying a certain bulb that I insisted was wrong (I have an 09 4 dr and he looked up a 2010 coupe). I go to my car again and get the burned out bulb to show him. In between all of this, he helped other customers and I just waited. Finally he acknowledged that the bulb I was originally trying to purchase was the right one, but they didn't have any they could sell me. I left and went to a different location where the guy got me the right bulb and was super friendly. Avoid this location. read more

I was in this store on 8/29/16 and was assisted by Corey. What a great guy! All I needed was a $6.00 tail light blinker but Corey treated me like I spent $1,000. He didn't hesitate to offer to install it for me (for which I was very grateful)! I won't hesitate to take my future business to this AutoZone as well as refer others to this store.
