The car is otherwise pristine and we wanted it to look that way again. We used Yelp Reviews to narrow our search for a repair shop. We got several quotes, two from large shops and one from Advanced Auto Works a relatively small shop. From the start, our dealings with Tom, the owner of Advanced, made us feel entirely comfortable and confident that we could trust him. We decided not to file an insurance claim and to pay for the work ourselves. Tom said he would try to save us money if he could. He came through in a big way. One of the two shops quoted us over $3000 for the repair and said they would straighten the fender. Tom said that given the cost of the time it would take to straighten the fender, we would be probably be about the same cost to replace it. Tom's quote was about $1700, the lowest we got. Between the low price and confidence we had in Tom we went with him. He completed the job on time, the work was great and the paint was a perfect match. And on top of it, he said the parts didn't cost as much as he initially thought and knocked another $150 off the price. What a guy. Highly, highly recommend.
