I just had a really good experience there, and since I have had a few good ones there lately I figured I should do a review. The staff was good and fast every time I've been in there. The last time I went in I took a part off my car so I could take it in and replace it, I guess I cut myself with it because when I was in line at the register I realized I was bleeding. I asked for a Band-Aid and the guy was happy to help me. And then he asked what part I needed and got it for me. Alternator went out on the car, so I check the website and it says I can pick it up in the store, its in stock there. I tear it apart and take the old one down for the core and they tell me its going to take 2 days to order it. So much for accurate website inventory. Now I am stuck with no car for 2 days and have to figure out a way to go to work. For those that dont know cars, you can drive a LONG way without the alternator, as long as your battery will last for and you can even charge it a bit at night to extend it. If you are not using your headlights, ac etc. its not a problem. I had already made 6 trips across town and it could have taken me to work and back no issues for the next few days. read more

This place was clean and had an awesome inventory. I recently dumped my oil there and they handed me back the containers and used oil filter. I asked them what I should do and they basically said throw them in the trash. I was like "AWESOME", you mean I don't have to obsess over the half of teaspoon of oil that may be left inside, thanks for not lecturing me with a bunch of useless environmental BS! I bought new windshield wiper blades and asked the gentleman if he could put them on for me, and his response was "Not me, i'm going to lunch, but it shouldn't be too much longer." After waiting 26 minutes i left. So i am now am going to O'reillys!! Way better!! read more

This location has always provided wonderful service! In this past visit I was having trouble putting new windshield wipers on my car and Matt was super helpful in coming outside in the rain to help until we figured it out. This Auto Zone is horrible. The customer service was awful and they don't carry anything in stock. The manager was completely incompetent and the cashiers (because they certainly aren't parts specialists) are rude and unhelpful. I've shopped at plenty of Auto Zones and this one should lose it's franchise status because it's without a doubt the worst one I've ever done business with. I'll never go there again. A really rude group of people with zero customer service skills. The block off ra you cash each month to rent parking. You turn them down and in turn you tow 10+ cars since then. You think any of those people or all of the people they are connected with will ever spend a dime at your location? None! Terrible business practice and terrible management. read more

As for store appearance was good.(10/10) Customer service was so so 4/10 seemed to have ok knowledge but didn't seem as if they wanted to help me figure out the problem. Part availability seemed okay but somehow there was a mix up and it didn't get ordered. 1/10. So I went down the street to Oreillys and was able to get myself the same part that day instead of waiting another day with my car in the shop. I probably won't be coming back to AutoZone. read more

My first experience with autozone wasn't great. Store itself was great, nice and peaceful not hectic at all. Manny(the cashier) that was helping me had a rude attitude. 2nd time going to autozone was awesome. Came in to get my battery replaced. Donald was able to swap out my battery for a new one in just a few minutes, such a kind individual, made me feel comfortable unlike my first experience at autozone. read more

bought a battery 3 months ago .Ieft in box until today .went to use it and it was dead.so i said ok just need to charge its no big deal.it wont take a charge .so i went to store told them the story and manager told me warranty was up last week and not his fault.so why would any body by from a place that has no customer service or respect for customer. just took me for 100 dollars, i fill scamed.will never use auto zone again. people beware read more

Okay so I was in a small bind yesterday and needed a cabin filter and a normal air filter for my 2012 Camry. I called Autozone in Petaluma and received wonderful service from them on December 31st. The gentlemen had the cabin filter and was kind enough to put it in for me and said the other filter was ordered and that they would help me with that when it arrived that day or on New Years Day. (I should also say that my cabin filter was in my glove box and took less than 2 minutes to do, noneofthe less I appreciate the nice gentlemen doing it for me and thats why I am giving two stars for him). Next day still haven't received a call so i decided to call around 10:30, a guy picked up the phone and i told him i was waiting for my part and he put me on hold and said no one looked at the orders and the put it out on the floor(i already paid for this yesterday, why is it out on the floor????). I said okay, fine I will be in to pick it up and then I had let him know that the gentlemen yesterday said someone would install it for me and he said yeah i guess but come after 12 when we have more people here to do it. I said okay. My husband and I get to Autozone after 12 and he goes in with the receipt and takes notice nobody has name tags on, one employee even was just wearing a hoodie. The man that my husband spoke to hands him the part and my husband said okay thanks and wanted to know who was going to put it in for us. Both guys there with no name tags, said "we don't really do that". My husband walks out ANGRY!!! Okay i get it this is an Autopart store, not a repair shop but why tell me that I should wait until after 12 to pick the part up????? And why tell me that they would be happy to do it the day before??? Serious communication problems with todays crew. Yesterday everyone was VERY friendly and went above and beyond to help today definitely not at all. To the employee in the hoodie, if you don't like your job, don't work there! Get a name tag and read about customer service because you are a punk and need a serious attitude adjustment. I hope management will see this and respond. I am so angry about this service that I might make a call to corporate. I have my receipt from the 31st and would like to get the man that rang me up complimented. read more
