Late Sunday afternoon I was ready to head out for a salad for dinner. Get to my car and what do you know, IT WOULD'T START!!! A nice neighbor came by and said sounded like my battery was dead. So I get a jump to go down the block to the Oreilly for help. Now it's about 7:45pm. I walk in and they are packed! I'm thinking to myself that I might as well call in to work now. The first guy I talked to was Mitchell. He was so super friendly and nice. He assured me that they would be able to take care of me that night after helping two others that were already waiting. So I waited patiently and then Conner comes out and says "I'm all ready for you!". He was also really nice and made me feel at ease. He just had me sit in my car while he proceeded to disassemble my battery along with some supper bars that were in the way. It took about 20 minutes total. When he was done, he apologized for it taking so long! I'm sitting there like dude you could have taken another hour before I started to panic! The moral of this review is, if you treat your customers right, they are with you for life! I love Oreilly's!! And Thanks again Mitchell and Conner

I've been going to pep boys at other locations and every time I walk right in, give them my keys, sit down. Never had it take that long, which was the first red flag. Then I waited in an empty waiting room for an hour, and my car had still not been brought back yet. Every other location I've been to will send me a link to track the progress of my car, and they are always done within an hour. I decided to just go ahead and leave since I didn't want to waste my whole evening and they were just as rude when I was leaving. Don't recommend this location at all!!

When I called to complain, they basically dismissed me. That same day, I heard a clunking noise coming from my right rear tire. I continued to hear it, usually when pulling off from a stop. I took it back to them, the "looked it over" then gave me the name and number of a transmission shop. Someone else suggested I might need to have my brakes checked. When they took my tires off, the locking lugnuts were NOT even tight on the right rear and one lugnut was missing on the left rear. Once my tires were put back on and the lugnuts were tightened with a spline key, I didn't hear the noise anymore. They put me in great danger. I figured they'd do nothing, just like when I brought it to them before. I will NOT use them again!

I'll start with, the only bright spot with this car buying process is Elias. This guy was so nice…read moreand helpful. Let's get into it. My wife totaled her 2020 Ford Fusion so we were on the hunt for a basic SUV all we really wanted was a bigger screen for navigation purposes. We told them over and over what our payments were ($377) with an incredible and unbeatable interest rate (.9%). We were realistic in that we probably were NOT going to get that rate again. That was okay. We knew that going in. We started with saying that we were interested in an escape or eco sport. Something on the cheaper end. Obviously there is limited inventory so neither of those options were available. We were shown a 2021 Nissan Kicks. - valued brand new at about 19.5K. Right in our price range. There were no floor mats, the car was dirty but had the basics of what we needed. We test drove it and started with numbers. (The real fun part). Elias was open about how at this dealership they AGREE on a price. Which we settled on 24.8K. In my opinion STILL overpriced but it's fine. We were told "at this point we just want to get rid of this car". Tyler, the manager came in after I countered and basically said they couldn't go down any further. That they would then lose money on it. He said "I don't ever want to get someone in with finance and then their payments are double what they thought." When we moved to finance, I started to get cold feet. Yes the maintenance package and the warranty was great but it would make our payments $502. Our fusion payments again, we're $377. So we were already over budget. Not once did finance give us the total of the car. They focused on ONLY telling us how much our payments would be. I mentioned 3 times how I wanted to come back on Monday with a down payment and was basically dismissed. And was told "well the difference would be $50". Doesn't matter. The moment someone says I'd like to come back, that's a hint. Or at least it should be. When I finally got all the paperwork together the next day imagine my surprise when I saw the total amount financed was 35,000. For a car that OFF THE LOT costs 19.5K. This car was used with 4800 miles. Not to mention with interest the total amount of the car would be almost FORTY THREE thousand dollars. That is more than my F-150 cost brand new. When we called to ask about possible return of the vehicle since this was WAY out of our price range, finance said "we don't accept returns". Tyler, the manager said "let me get more information and I will get back to you soon" ...2 days later and I still have not heard back. Bottom line is, it wasn't a horrific deal but we definitely could have gotten something else for $502 a month. We just should have taken our time and resisted the pressure.

After looking across Texas we decided to look north to Oklahoma and I am ever so glad we did. Smicklas Chevrolet treated us incredibly well and made the drive worth every mile. Regardless of the method of communication (we called, emailed and visited in person) they were always professional, knowledgeable, friendly and never at any point did they pressure us to buy anything above and beyond what we discussed. Smicklas gave us a premium for our trade not one dealership in Austin could match them! Rude, pushy, and shady from start to finish. I brought in my Corvette for a trade, and right away they claimed they couldn't pull up any maintenance records, which is ridiculous for a Chevy dealer with access to their own system. I got the car at around 6,200 miles and have kept up with routine Chevy maintenance the whole time - not once has any Chevy tech ever mentioned an issue. They then tried to justify a lowball trade offer of $49k by saying they couldn't verify maintenance and by pointing out front splitter damage. The splitter is roughly a $300 part, yet they used it as an excuse to knock around $7,000 off the value. On top of that, they suddenly claimed the car had some kind of "weird wobble," even though it feels exactly the same as the day I bought it and zero techs have ever flagged that as a problem. It felt like they were just stacking fake reasons to drag the number down. I even offered to call the original dealership myself to get the maintenance records. Brian told me, "No need" - then they sat on it for two hours, didn't call anyone, and didn't even ask me to. When I finally took it upon myself to get the records and handed them over, the offer suddenly jumped from $49k to $56k. Earlier, Brian said he'd show me the MMR on my car so I could see what they were seeing. But once the numbers didn't favor their lowball, that changed. Suddenly they "don't have the MMR" and refused to show anything. When I questioned it, Brian got an attitude and hit me with, "Are you going to buy a car or not?" and then had the nerve to accuse me of wasting his time because they couldn't be bothered to pull basic maintenance history from their own Chevy system. Overall, the entire experience felt dishonest, manipulative, and high-pressure. I walked away feeling like they were hoping I'd be uninformed enough to accept a bad deal based on scare tactics and made-up issues.
