Mr. Kenneth Sorenson went above and beyond his normal duties. He installed my new battery for me. He checked my oil and transmission fluid for me. My oil was one quart low and transmission fluid was 2 quarts low. My transmission was bone dry. I am so grateful for his help and thanked God for sending me to him. I was told by a mechanic at Midas that I would need a transmission rebuild at a cost of $1500. I asked the Midas guy to check my fluid. He failed to do so when fixing my car regarding another repair. I have been unable to drive my car for 3 weeks trying to save my money for a transmission repair. Mr. Sorenson saved me a ton of money, a transmission rebuild, a lot of grief, stress, and tears. The man working behind the counter this evening made a racist comment to us about "eating at Paula Deans" just because we did not have time for him to change our bulb. Couldnt be bothered to get off his phone to help us, but had the energy to make that kind of inappropriate comment. read more

AWESOME EXPERIENCE! My battery died and I went to the closest store to my house, Autozone. I was skeptical about what the experience would be like since I saw a low review rating from prior customers. To my surprise they provided EXCEPTIONAL service. It was busy in the store however each employee was hustling and working as a team to get the customers in and out. I had my battery checked, bought a new battery, and they installed the battery within a total of 10 MIN!! You can't beat that. They deserve a raise! read more

Please avoid this awful location. Yesterday(07/03/20), I went into this store hoping to receive help. Instead I was met with a very rude small man, of Asian decent. Who refused to help me. The whole reason I came to my neighborhood Autozone, because I was changing a fuse, for my cigarette plug. Upon arrival, I realized I'd forgotten my needle-point pliers. I stepped inside to ask one of the representatives if I could borrow a small pair, so I could know what size fuse to purchase. However, when I walked inside, there was a small Asian man at one of the registers. I waited for him to acknowledge me, but he ignored me. It wasn't until another representative(who was already helping someone), asked if I needed help. I asked him if I could use a pair of pliers, and he said yes.. then proceed to speak to the Asian man. He finally looked up from his register and said "you don't have your own?"(very rudely) I then explained to him (like he wasn't standing right there) why I needed them. His responded "I don't have any, for YOU, to use" I quickly asked if there was a problem, because of his rude tone. He answered again "I don't have any pliers, for YOU to use" and pointed at the pliers that are for sale. At this point, I started to become upset, because here I am a woman, alone in this auto shop, asking "men" for help, and I'm met with an attitude?? Another representative(very nice gentleman) stepped, up and asked me what I needed. Again, I told him my story and he went and got me some pliers(to borrow) and showed me what fuses I needed, without it being any issues. He even said "I don't know why he's acting like this." I'm not asking for a pitty-party, and if your policy is to stop sharing tools due to COVID-19.. that's understandable. But, that was NEVER said. I was just met with a very small angry Asian man, who refused to assist me. read more

I was on vacation and my alternator went and stopped at this autozone. I asked them the check the battery and the alternator. I had to take the alternator out and the provided the most help they could. Charles was very informative and was willing to test my battery, my alternator and charge my battery afterwards. Kingston was very helpful too. Kingston was willing to let me use a small variety of tools to take my alternator out and put it back in. They were both very friendly people and very helpful. If I was their boss I would definitely give them some props and most definitely a raise. read more

I came in today for a new battery. The guys were so helpful and everyone had a great attitude. It took about an hour to figure out how to get my corroded and stripped bolts out in order to get the battery out. They went above and beyond and worked until they figured it out. They had to take turns coming out to work on it while also taking care of customers inside. Seriously the best experience I've ever had at any auto shop. Thanks guys!!!! read more

Did you know that the little computer that they hook up to your car, in garages are costly? I think one garage charged me $25 or $35 to "analyze" my car. I was told that if I go to Autozone, they will check my car with the little computer, for free. Yesterday, I went to this Autozone and sat outside and read all the signs, looking for a sign that said, "Free computer analysis." I didn't see one, but then, I noticed a young man in the window, beckoning me to come inside. So I shut off my car, went inside and told him that my "Check Engine" light had come on and I had been told that Autozone would check my car for free. He grabbed something under the cash register and said, "Let's have a look at your car, Ma'am." Off we went.. he turned on the car, hooked up the little gizmo, under my steering wheel and in about 30 seconds, he told me what was wrong with my car. We went back inside, he took a printout from another little gizmo on the counter and gave it to me.. Told me to go to my garage and have them check it out. It didn't cost me anything. He was polite and nice. I couldn't have been happier. read more

Went to this store today (7/9/14) at 12:10pm. UNFRIENDLY staff (except for one young guy). No hellos, how are yous, or smiles. All I got was the "whose next" without any eye contact. You can tell that the woman behind the counter did not want to be there, much less help me. Then after she finally located my hose, she says, "I only have 2' left" I say "Great, like I said only needed 1', she then says, "he'll check you out" and walked away. Obviously she never really listened to me when I told her what I needed. When I got to the older guy that was to check me out I got same thing, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! I asked him a simple question and he looked at me like I was stupid, then argued with me when I was trying to explain what I needed. Needless to say, I will NEVER got back to this Autozone again. They need to hire some helpful people. read more

They do not stand behind their battery warranties! I purchased a Duralast battery 8 months ago, and it won't hold a charge. I took it in, and explained that My mechanic had already charged it, to determine if the battery was the source of my truck troubles. I came here to get my break light replaced. They close at 8 and got here at 7:30-plenty of time for them to take care of a customer and help me. After waiting for 10 minutes for someone, a guy came out and wasn't even sure how to do this-even though I've gotten my break light replaced at another AutoZone on Murfreesboro Pike, and they were GREAT. BUT.. this guy on Gallatin looked at it for one second and said I can't get this unscrewed, let me get some pliers. I waited outside for 15 minutes-so right as they were closing and this guys still didn't come back to help me. However, he did come out and help this other guy, and completely ignored me. I saw him starting to sweep the floors inside, so I went in and asked if he could help me or if he could fix it and he said no and went back to what he was doing. I kept pressing so I could get an answer on where I could go, and he said nothing at this hour. He clearly didn't know what he was doing and didn't care to help me as a customer in need and just wanted to leave as soon as they closed. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
