I went to the store on Mckinley ave in Mishawaka, IN. The gentlemen that helped me were so knowledgeable and kind. They checked my battery, helped me purchase a new one, and put it in for me. I am a single mother, I don't know a thing about cars, and I can't afford to spend thousands of dollars at a dealership. I am so appreciative and grateful. I use to go to Autozone all the time but when my friends and I went there to get a light changed they offered no assistance. They did however over a tool for us to use. We were not welcomed or asked if we wanted help. We had to ask for assistance. It's like it was to much bother for them. Amazing the other reviews on here got help from the Auto Zone employee. I guess we are chopped liver. All future purchases my friend and I will go to another auto store. read more

Once again I came to AutoZone to get a part for my car. I told them exactly what I wanted, the guy looked up the part gave me a paper with the part number written on it I walked over and got it paid for it took it home. And of course it was the wrong part, I had to take it back right in the middle of trying to fix my car which annoyed me to no end. The guy said I did not make a mistake I looked the part number up on my computer before I left I had the part number in my hand so I walked over and got the right part and said I need to exchange this. This guy says he doesn't make mistakes and I said well this time you did! The only reason I am leaving this review is because, in my experience this store seems to give you the wrong part more times than not so you end up having to return it. It's better to look it up on the computer yourself go in loaded for bear when you get there so you know what you want what you need and is the part number , This is just my opinion, are used to manage a Fleenors, and giant auto and also worked in auto parts several different years prior so I do know what I'm talking about. I had a car battery die under warranty and came here to have it replaced. The GM had an employee take a reading of the battery and she confirmed it was low. He instantly ordered her to swap out and install a new one. No hassle. An assistant. manager ended up actually installing the new battery. He was a most impressive young man who very clearly loved his job and taking care of a customer. Assuming their prices are competitive, you will not go wrong placing your trust in this the folks at this store. read more

My headlight was out and it was very important I get it fixed because of my long commute everyday. I stopped at Advanced auto on McKinley. She took one look at it and said "no I have to take all this stuff off of it and I just can't do it". I said "I Wonder if Auto Zone will do it? She said No, probably not. So I didn't listen to her went right across the road to AutoZone Mike took a look at it and said he would try to fix it. Well he did. In the bitter cold , he was sweet, patient and kind. And So was the young lady that checked me out. Meanwhile I asked him to change my blades and he did. With a smile on his face. Guess where I WON'T BE GOING AGAIN. Yep Never again to Advanced Auto And yes. Auto Zone is my go to place. They said I could not tip him but he deserved a huge tip. And all this on New Year's day.
