My husband and I were beginning the 2nd day of our trip to Issaquah, WA, to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We planned to be camping in our Teardrop "Bling" most of the trip, when the accident occurred in the underpass near Adam's NAPA store. What a lucky place to have had this happen...We could have totaled my husband's new car, the Teardrop, and killed ourselves in the process. The hitch to the trailer had not been put in far enough and the connecting pin was never engaged. The rough road and railroad tracks promptly separated the trailer from our vehicle, destroying one of the 2 safety latches, forcefully hitting our vehicle 2-3 times, and then falling to the ground and severing all the electrical wiring to the trailer. Scary to say the least! Adam was driving to his store and stopped to help. He told Phil, my husband to bring the trailer to his shop, which was really close. We couldn't get the Teardrop connected to the car, so Phil walked to the store and Adam promptly returned and hitched it to his truck. At the store, Adam and Juan replaced the electrical plug, installed a new safety latch, and helped reconnected the Teardrop to our vehicle. Adam and Juan are true local HEREOS, and the town of Delhi, needs to know about it. They went above and beyond anything we could have expected. If Adam had not driven by, or the store closed because it was Good Friday, we would have lost an entire day or the whole weekend. Somehow, we were blessed and we are extremely grateful for everything Adam and Juan did for us. If you need anything for your car or truck, NAPA Auto Parts of Delhi, is the only place you should go. Their service is absolutely amazing!
