I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at this AutoZone. I came in because my battery wasn't working. The first employee who helped me was polite, tested the battery, and told me it needed to be recharged and retested. I asked if I could simply exchange it, and he seemed willing to help. Then another employee, a woman, stepped in and immediately had a rude, dismissive attitude. She told me they couldn't replace the battery unless it tested as completely dead. I explained that when I tried charging it myself, my charger said the battery was too low to charge. Instead of listening or trying to help, she cut me off and said, "Well, ours doesn't do that." She didn't ask any questions, didn't explain the process respectfully, and barely let me speak. She just took my battery, told me to "come pick it up tomorrow, we close in 20 minutes," and walked away. The entire interaction felt rushed, disrespectful, and like I was an inconvenience for simply asking questions. Customer service should never make people feel like they're bothering employees. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable I just wanted help understanding my options. The difference between the first employee's professionalism and the way she treated me was night and day. I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service at the AutoZone on Main Street in Louisville. An employee named Tassie, who appeared to be either a shift leader or manager, was rude and condescending from the moment we walked in. We came in to process a return, and her attitude made it very clear that she did not want to help us. To be fair, the other clerk working at the time was very helpful and polite. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but he was the only one providing actual customer service during our visit. After we received our store credit, we continued shopping because we intended to buy more parts. Amanda went up to Tassie and politely asked if, when she had a moment and wasn't busy, she could help look up a part number for a control arm for her Mercedes under a commercial account. Tassie responded by asking, "Is it your commercial account? Are you the owner?" Amanda answered yes and confirmed she had the PIN. After that, Tassie simply looked back down at what she was doing and refused to acknowledge us or help any further. That kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from someone who appears to be in a leadership position. When customers politely ask for help and are ready to spend money, ignoring them is not okay. I shop at this location regularly and spend money here often, which is why this experience was so frustrating. Management seriously needs to address how customers are being treated at this store. read more

Good staff, helpful with questions and for getting the right parts. Store was clean and easy to get in and out of on a busy day.

This place has a decent amount of inventory. They have reasonable prices on some stuff. Their lend-a-tool program is nice. Usually this location has the rental tool youre looking for, if not they can order it. I always choose AutoZone for my go to since it's close to my place. I recommend downloading the app and even joining their reward program, can save you a trip to multiple stores if you look at their inventory online (it's recommended). read more

I needed to have my battery checked and my regular location didn't have a working meter so I went to this location instead. After testing, my battery proved to be bad and needed changing. I bought a new one and planned to replace it myself as I usually do. However, they offered to do it for me. This was a mistake. The person replacing didn't seem to know what he was doing really. In placing one of the leads back onto the terminal, he was banging on it with his wrench to get it on. And in doing so, it turns out he damaged my battery sensor at that terminal which is now going to cost me $300! read more

I Just got off the phone with Jason M. with the Auto Zone on Main here in Lewisville, on Main. Jason went above and beyond helping me. I had miss placed my paper work for my battery warranty and wanted to verifier how long it was for. Not as easy as it sounds with no longer have a land line and not using cell number much. Long story short he found the warranty and how long it was for. Gave me some needed advice on the battery. The guys here have always treated like I was their Mom, took care of all needs and question. Customer service at its finest. Friday night, 8 minutes before closing time, I called while stranded in a parking lot. I explained to Brian I had a ruined 7 pin electrical connector. I had no trailer lights and had miles and miles to go to make a trade show. He waited at the store while we figured out how to disconnect it with limited tools on hand. When we brought him the connector he fixed us up with everything we needed to fix it and get back on the road. Thank you Brian for staying around past closing time! read more

This is for the AutoZone at 1441 Justin Rd in Flower Mound - yelp couldn't find that location. I went in today for a car battery. The first gentleman, didn't catch his name, was very kind in looking it up and choosing an option. The second gentleman, Julian, rung up the rest of the order and put the new battery in my car. My GMC Yukon had a bar across where the battery goes and he was very careful taking things apart and putting the new battery in. On top of that, he was just very friendly and helpful. read more

Never again. Went in to buy a locking gas cap for my truck. Stood in line for 15 minutes while 4 employees helped 2 people. I put the gas cap on, followed the directions exactly, and couldn't get it to work. I had my wife do the same to the same result. I took it back the next day, and the guy at the counter ( I believe is the manager) asked why I was returning it. When I told him it didn't work, he condescendingly asked if I was doing it right. Asked where the vehicle was so he could try. I said it wasn't there (it wasn't) and I just wanted it returned. He proceeds to put the key in, turn it, and lock it. Then gives me a smartass grin. Great man, so you can make it work when it's not on the actual vehicle, but guess what? That's not what happens when it's on the truck. It. Doesn't. Work. Then he wants my phone number and name for a return. I said I'm not going into the system. You have the receipt and the entire original box intact. Says he needs a name to complete. John Smith it is. Screw off AutoZone. I was in and out of O'Reillys in under 5 minutes and a perfectly operational locking gas cap. Don't waste your time here. read more

This place is so poorly managed. I just spent 30 minutes waiting in line to make my purchase. Didnt need assistance. Just wanted to buy my stuff and leave. There were 3 employees at the item look up terminals, and thats where the checkout line started. One of the employees moved over to the actual registers, and then a separate queue started forming over there for purchasers who didnt need assistance. I finally gave up and went to oreilly's, which i really dont like their products, but screw this store. My battery connector was sooo loose it was causing my car not to start. I was not able to tighten it enough to get good connection. Trent L. was so helpful and kind with putting on battery caps for both terminals and also new felt protectors. The last time I had the battery installed at an Autozone a couple years ago the person didn't put the felt proctectors on correctly causing me to hook up the battery cables incorrectly when it wouldn't start. Again Trent L. saved the day and gave me peace of mind knowing my battery would not fail to start again. Awesome customer service!! read more

I was in the area and my battery was acting up. I had purchased it from another Autozone so I stopped in. Thankfully, it was still under warranty so that was awesome and makes me want to always buy a battery from Autozone in the future. The were quick but I was disappointed that I asked the person changing the batter to please protect my radio stations. She said it would only take her 5 min and they should be fine. They weren't so that was frustrating that I not only lost all my radio stations all of my programming in my Nav System was erased as well. I told her and she didn't seem to care and went back inside. An apology would have been nice. Just some sort of recognition and I specifically asked for her to protect that when she changed the battery and she did not. read more

This is the busiest AutoZone I've ever been in. Jonathan M deserves 5 stars - he was wonderful. Management needs to plan better for Sunday's though. You really need more than 4 cashiers. Horrible customer service!!! I waited for 5 mins to check out and nothing. I waved down a big fat guy and he told me to walked across the store and the guys at the commercial desk come help me. I was standing at the cash registers. I don't get it. He told me he was off the clock. This wasn't the first time I've had problems at this location. There is also a short old Hispanic lady that is about as Pleasant to talk to as a thumb tack when you step on it. Don't bother trying to call them. First person that answered (a female) just says hello as if she's at home. When I ask if I had reached Autozone, she hangs up. I hit redial and the next person (a male) answers "Autozone, can you please hold?" Like I have a choice. I then proceed to be on hold for 10 minutes. Just left this location, extremely pleased with one employee in particular. upon entering, my boyfriend and I got no greeting, no "is there anything I can help you with?" we went in simply for a gas tank and left with more than what we planned to purchade, simply due to an employee who went above and beyond. chase, after assisting another customer, took the initiative to assist us even during his lunch break. it was obvious he knew what he was talking about and knew a lot about cars. the way he answered our questions were professional and extremely knowledgeable. if it weren't for Chase today, I would have also left a bad review for this location. Every time I go in, it takes forever to pay. From my observation, there is no chance you can go into this story, find what you need off the shelf, walk over to the register and be out in under 10 minutes. The store is generally clean, the staff is generally helpful, but if I just need to stop in to buy a tool or a wiper blade or something off the shelf, it is probably faster to go to a big store like Wal-Mart or Home Depot. Wish they would put one person on staff to just run the register. read more
