The awesome crew here helped me save almost $1,000 on car batteries and installation recommended to me by a repair shop. The Auto Zone Charleston crew spent a crazy amount of time and care helping install a new auxiliary battery in my car that was far too complicated for me to figure out on my own. I am grateful there are still good people in this world. read more

We were on Vacation and of course the Alternator would decide to break down now. So we are out of towners' looking for a shop. We got our battery and alternator check at Autozone (Mike) was really nice and tested our battery and alternator. The battery check out fine and it was the faulty alternator. Chris also suggested the belt to replace as well. He sent us to Charlie's to help with the install. We arrived here and Kenny help us with the getting our car fixed away. The quote was reasonable and their team was able to fix it in a couple of hours. Kudos to Autozone and Charlies to keep the vacay a happy one and now a nightmacation. read more

Lily is a true professional. She was quick , kind , and courteous. You can tell she loves what she does and is so knowledgeable about products. There was an issue with product in stock and she went the extra mile to contact other stores for me. I almost forgot a paid for item in store and she found me in the parking lot before I left !! I felt like an actual person and not just a customer. She is definitely seasoned professional. She gives hope for the industry and humanity. Truly, thank you Lily. read more

It is incredible how a person can go to two different Auto zones less than two miles from the other and experience drastically different outcomes. The employees and managers of a store make all the difference! I purchased a universal catalytic converter and O2 sensor for my vehicle online. The converter did not have the hole required to plug in the sensor; it would not fit my car. I called the Rainbow location to find out my options and the manager said since it's been 90 days, he couldn't issue me a credit or refund. Mind you, both parts had never been used, were still in the box, and have a 5-year warranty and six-month warranty. I called this location, and after looking me up in the system, Maverick had no issue with giving me a refund. Maverick was extremely pleasant, understanding and left a great impression on me and their store location. I highly recommend the Charleston Auto zone location, and I will continue to do business with them In the future! read more

Came in waited forever only to be told that they could not help test a battery that was for a battery charger. I bought some items and asked for military discount and showed identification. The lady working did not give me the discount she said the items you bought are on sale. I have bought items on sale without having the discount being a problem. Employees shouldn't care if I use this benefit or not. Wont be coming here again , took battery to another autozone and they were able to test battery without a problem. She clearly didn't know what to do with this battery and neither did the other employee. read more

Great customer service. Reliable information. I have been here a few times but most recently my car battery kept dying. They tested &vit seemed ok but I wanted them to replace it because I didn't want to continue getting stuck. I called on my way over, they quoted me ac price ($159 w 2 year warranty) & said they had it in stock & could install immediately. I arrived & everything was the same. They had me on my way in less than an hour. Staff is very nice & professional. I also called a few other nearby places & quote was similar or slightly more expensive at other places. read more

customer service. Where did the service mentality go I will never know...but I just got off the phone with a VERY VERY rude woman named Veronica who abruptly tells me I have to come back in to fix a mistake done by one of the employees at the shop. I mean literally as soon as I get on the phone ..I was sleep!! And as soon as I answer the phone I'm greeted with the wrong pronunciation of my name .. but off she goes to speak to me as if I was one of her children ?! This adds already to the negative energy that's in this store that I felt each time I walked in. I had to politely interrupt this woman a few times to ask her to lower her tone and remind her I'm not a combative person (for crying out loud I just woke up and I'm on my happy pills so i couldn't hear half of what she was saying lol) before she let up for some air and let me speak. I feel bad for the employee who messed up cause I'm sure if this woman is who she has to deal with, then may God bless her patience. This is why people are starting to loose it in retail stores. People are just MEAN and ARROGANT. So to the reader reading this ..there are many other Auto Zones out there .. avoid this one if you can read more

I went to this location to have a free test administered to determine the health of my car battery. It was determined that a new battery was needed and the associate located the appropriate replacement for me and installed it. He was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. It was a positive experience overall and I would come back to this location for any automotive issues. read more

I am so lucky to live so near this car-trouble-solution store! I could literally walk if necessary, but so far I've just had to visit for routine maintenance stuff. Large bottles of oil and filters are available here to purchase to DIY your oil changes, along with air filters, lights, and a bunch of other parts I don't feel safe replacing on my own. Store is really good about having directories stationed throughout so that you can look up your car's make/model to ensure you're getting the right part, and they'll even double-check your work for you using their computer database before you walk out the door. read more

They are always helpful, sometimes their sexual prejudice gets in their way. Yes, I am a girl, but I know I need a hose plug, not bolts. They have a good selection, and are quick to hook up the machines to see what's really going on in the engine. Big parking lot, well lit at night for times the car needs oil added NOW. Snacks, too. read more

How is this place still in business? I ordered a simple part 8 months ago. I have been going once a month to ask if it's there and the answer is always not yet. It takes time because it's special order. Well today this new manager with a bunch a tattoos ignores his employees request for help just blew him off. His employees were not at all interested in helping me. So they tell me they can't find the order, even though I see it on the screen and I presented the receipt. I asked for a refund and the manager pretty much tells me to *uck off and got in this intimidating pose in my personal space. This is one of the worst displays of customer service, they treated me like a criminal, not only taking my money, leading me on, wasting my gas, and then threatened me when i ask for my money back. I highly recommend that you go else where. For me, I will pay extra and simply go to the dealer. read more

The ladies in here somehow managed to make me feel worse that any man I have ever dealt with at an autozone. Thanks. Zero help.

Got all the help I needed and the employees were very friendly. Will definitely go back!

I pulled up thinking I had a battery issue, after receiving a jump. I went in and spoke with a woman about getting my battery checked. She said it would be a few minutes as there were people in front of me. I do apologize, I did not get your name, but I remember you did help me on another occasion with an aux tape :) I went to my car and figured out that my high beams drained my battery and the issue was actually in my light switch behind the steering wheel. It's faulty and my high beams turn on with my turn signal. It's so weird I walked back in and the woman had stepped outside, but Jesus had stepped in after helping another gentleman replace a battery outside. He put the items away, and I let him know that the issue was not the battery but the light switch. He proceeded to help me and provided me with the information I needed to get it fixed. I appreciate your hard work sir! It gets hot outside, and I commend you both for running that store. Especially with all the different types of people that walk through that door. Thank you for the help. read more

The employees of this place are wonderful, however the product (specifically their batteries), suck. Every couple of years I get stranded and it's always because the battery will just die, completely, with no warning. This has happened 4 times now. I finally just paid for a battery from AAA. Hopefully their battery has a longer lifespan. read more

I hope it was at this location! Anthony C. made my check engine light go away with a helpful gas cap diagnosis! Good news is always nice to receive! I'm extremely grateful! read more

This review is a couple of weeks after the fact; but I wanted to make sure that Anthony (Store Manager) and his staff were thanked for my recent experience at that particular store. I needed "Tie Rods" for my old 2003 Ford Explorer. They had the inner "Tie Rods" in stock; but had to transfer outer "Tie Rods" from another store. Anthony assured me they would be there by 1pm that same day. Sure enough... Got there and parts were there. I thanked him for his efforts and tried to offer a "Tip"; which he refused (Pretty rare in Vegas). Both Anthony and his staff were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and capable. I highly recommend using Autozone for all your parts needs. I have yet to experience any "Problems" from any of their store locations anywhere. Thanks again Anthony and "Crew"! read more

Lacost & Lilly are both so helpful and they get the job done fast! Thanks I will def be back for any help with my lights

This is the worst AutoZone I've ever been to you when I walked in wasn't greeted just went and got my items that I needed was never asked if I needed help then I went and I started to catch register for about 15 minutes the attendance kept looking at me and just passing right over me acting as if I was never even there very disappointed in this AutoZone never going to visit it again and I highly suggest that you don't either read more

Really great place to purchase Car Crap as a woman. I was greeted right away and told the nice sales person what I was recommended by the oil change place, I needed a new battery. He said he will test it first to make sure I actually need one. He walked me trhu the test and yes it was bad (well 4 years old lol) He showed me the different prices and recommended the cheapest one they had in stock, it came with full warranty and free install and I got my 10% military discount :) This man was awesome!! He showed me some stuff in the engine I needed to watch for if sonmething breaks or wears out. AAAA PLUS read more

There store is laid out nice however I had a hard time finding my part. I only needed a gas cap and it was not apparent to me that you had to ask them for help with type of part. Signs to help you understand what is over the counter vs behind the counter would be very helpful. This way customers are not running in circles around the store looking for item that a rep has to assist them with. read more

Check your items before leaving the store. I was given the wrong head light bulb. Had to waste my time to return it.

They have a decent selection of electrical connectors and wire but the prices are on the higher side. Customer service is pretty good and the store was pretty clean. read more
