Vehicle restoration

I went to auto zone to get parts for my vehicle restoration project, I got the parts at a great price and even a warranty, my vehicle is up and running after being parked over a year. Thank you Auto Zone

We just had the nicest young man help us put a brake light in. He did it with much enthusiasm, not giving up. Super helpful and friendly.

We thought we'd picked up a dependable car, a 2013 Nissan Altima. We found out afterwards it needed quite a bit of work, including a catalytic converter. We called one shop in Las Vegas and were given a ridiculous quote for the converter. Passion Auto was our next choice and the quotes for the various services were spot on with what my research showed they should be. They also identified an issue the first shop missed, a shredded serpentine belt. Passion Auto was very understanding of our situation and did good work at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

I specifically asked them if there were any other leaks and they assured me it was just that. I brought my car in to get fixed and once it was "fixed" I drove it back home which is less than 5 miles. Once I turned on my car again to use it started shaking a lot I was concerned because I just got it fixed. So I took it back to this auto repair because they had fixed it to begin with. Once they checked it they said the water pump is leaking. I asked them why didn't they tell me it was leaking before they fixed my gas blank they told me nothing was wrong with it before but now it is. How?? I only drove it less than 10miles! They wanted to charge me another 1k ! How do they fix a leak and give back the car with a brand new leak? I told them if they can please see if we can work something out because it was strange that all of a sudden it has a new problem. They said they'd get back to me. They never got back to me they just ghosted me. 2015 Audi A6

I have been a loyal customer of this Auto Care department for years, but today will be my last…read morevisit. My experience was a "three strikes" failure in basic customer service. Strike 1: The Arrival. I sat in Lane 1 for 10 minutes without a single greeting. I eventually had to go inside, only to be told I "had to go outside" to be helped. When I went back out, staff ignored me until I finally had to call out for assistance. They claimed they couldn't help because they "couldn't find the tablet." Then came once they found it. And barely spoke to me. And gave a half ass apology."Oh no one came to assist you, sorry about that." Strike 2: The Billing Shell Game. When I went to pay, and noticed the total was higher than the consistent price I've paid for years. Even back in November 2025. Instead of a clear explanation, I was given a rotating door of excuses: first, it was an extra filter (which they then said was discounted), then it was the extra .5 quart of oil I ALWAYS need, then it was "oil and gas pricing," and finally, they blamed me for "not reading the fine print" regarding taxes. As an Operational Analyst, I value data and transparency; this was neither. But after everything was said and done I just paid, I'd already had a bad experience starting off and was over my interactions with this establishment. Strike 3: The Attitude. When I expressed my frustration, both when I first got there and with paying, the attendant and the manager stood there stone-faced. They provided zero "apologies" to me or exit instructions. But I loved how the manager apologized to the associate in front of my face under their breath and I heard them. I actually had to say "thank you" to myself and pick up the receipt off the counter because they were too "in their feelings" to be professionally courteous. As an African American woman in her mid-30s, I expect to be treated with the same respect as any other patron with a service. I work hard for my money and I will now be taking it elsewhere. This facility has lost a long-term customer due to sheer lack of professional courtesy and accountability. We are all struggling right now to do the things that we simply need to do like vehicle maintenance. It's a sad day when customer service is no longer a minimal requirement to be met and is a standard.

Quite a sale right? It was recommended that purchased extra things including, a hose clamp vise and extra coolant and other things I might need. $800 dollars later, in walked away from Autozone prepared to complete this job. I was able to complete the job without using some of the coolant and the extra tools. Today I attempted to return an extra thermostat, and the hose clamp tool that I didn't use. Manger Chris L. L told that I used the item. Despite the fact that it was new, my hoses had been switched to 8mm Phillips head. There was no attempt or desire to help me or come to a compromise. I pleaded than clearly I purchased extra things with the confidence that I would return them should I not need them. I said; as a manager this feels like an exception opportunity, he said I needed the packaging. I pleaded again saying I spent over $800 with this project with the extra trips, all to Autozone. He condescendingly asked if I needed anything else. This town is full of auto parts stores. What a terrible way to lose a life long customer for $20. God bless you, Chris. I hope you make better decisions go forward when it comes to taking care of the customers who take care of you.
