I took the car for them to look at the battery and they said the alternator was fine and it looked like the battery was low. But they said I needed to take it to a dealer to get all that verified. I took it to the dealership and they verified the alternator was fine, but the battery was bad. The dealer was going to charge me over $100 for the service, but if I bought a battery, they would take it off. So I bought a battery. I took the old battery back to Advance and said it still had a full year warranty on it, a third of the value, and what could they do. They said nothing. They even asked the manager and the manager said it wasn't the way it worked. You had to bring it in and exchange it. No store credit, nothing. Not even a pair of windshield wipers. They said my had a wire that was miscommunicating and could not trace it down even after I gave them an extra two hours to trace wire. Had to get all new wiring harness put in and in the meantime, my second actuator mysteriously went bad. So replaced both actuators and wiring harness a couple months later my ACS light is back on and they're saying my actuator is bad and will not warranty it. there saying my spool is leaking and that is what caused my actuator to go bad. I think they didn't catch on the first go around and now I'm stuck now looking at a total of $10,000 in three months. If I could give them a zero star, I would.
