Horrible Service in the store located at 2149 Airline Road, Corpus Christi, Tx, 78414. I went to the store on Monday Feb 02, 2026, to use the warranty for my defective battery and the "teen" so called Manager dismissed my claim because, as per her professional and expert opinion, the Battery tested good. I had explained to her that overnight I disconnected the battery from the car (to avoid Parasitic Draw), and in the next morning the battery doesn't have enough power to crank the starter motor, and I have to jump the car with my other car, and it started right away. She continued, as a broken record, claiming that the battery is good, because the tester says so, for your information of course it tested good after being charge by the alternator, you can't test self-drainage with that tool. Please contract qualified technicians that understand how cars functions and are able to troubleshoot with the information provided by the client. Then I went to the store located on 4053 Saratoga Blvd, 78413, and explained my problem to the Knowledgeable manager at that store, and right away she swaps the battery without any drama. I would give this place more than 5 stars if possible. I came from an auto shop that wanted over $300 just to diagnose a problem, the afternoon of 8/14/25. The staff at this store, went way out of their way, to help me assess the situation and make a reasonable decision as to what to do. read more

Took my van into Firestone on SPID and was told I needed a new battery. I took to Auto Zone and they tested it, it tested at 100%. I did purchase windshield wipers and the gentleman put them on for me. I should have gotten his name. Thank you very much. read more

Been going to this location for a long time. They never disappoint! Went over at lunch to replace wind shield wipers and replace a brake light. I call 1st and Jessica pulled the brake light for my Fiat. Held it till I could there. Melissa helped me select a good Bosch set of wiper blades. My grandmother showed up this morning around 10am 10/26/23 in her car for a new battery on her vehicle. Roadside jump started her battery at her home so it was low on charge. The employee (lady) said she could not change the battery because the vehicle was to hot. I really don't understand that. All she had to do was let the engine cool off. The battery is nowhere near the engine. My grandmother tried driving to Walmart automotive for help and was stranded again on the road. I'm very disappointed. This employee should've asked for assistance with coworkers but didn't. I've been an autozone customer for years and never had this ridiculous issue. They lost my business for good. read more

During my lunch break I went to the AutoZone located on Airline Rd. I was so happy that the staff was able to get my battery checked, notified me that it was bad and had it replaced within 20 min. I was able to make it back to work with 30 min to spare, eat my lunch and finish the movie I started the night before on Netflix. I had to drive to another store because the man today in a gray outfit did not help me with a return and said it has been installed and bent the prongs in the resistor. He shouldn't be messing with somebody's money like that. Automatic resistors are not cheap and it didn't work for me. It was under warranty so I could return it but he didn't have the time to look that all up. So I went to the best autozone in town and they solved my problem. I waited over 20min at 930am this morning while they were in the back laughing and goofing off! customers left cause no one could get any help! they have the worst customer service! and they lack knowledge on vehicle! sold me wrong parts and argued with me stating that they were the right ones when they didn't line up correctly with the old ones! Check car codes for free... my car was displaying a check engine error and vibrating... so decided to take it by here to see if they could help. He came out plugged in his machine and bam told me my engine was misfiring. Easy fix, and told me he could order the part... usually when I come here it takes awhile to get someone to help me otherwise, but they were on point this time. read more

I had to stop in here on a Friday because my battery was bad in my vehicle and I had to get a new one quick. Normally I would have gone to the dealership but I was in Corpus for work and they do not have an Infiniti dealership. Overall I thought the gentleman helping did an ok job. I was told that autozone would not change my battery because it is difficult due to it being a foreing/luxury car. This was a bit frustrating but I get it. So I asked if I bought the battery where could I take it to get it installed- at this point things started to get a little shady. So, I decided to purchase the battery and let my cousin put it in for me. They offered to sell me a little machine that I could plug into my car to store the computer information on just in case we messed anything up when we changed the battery. I usually get the feeling that because I am a woman they assume I have no idea what I am going. That is somewhat annoying. I went to get a new battery. I called first and they said they would replace my old one for me. When I got there they told me they could not do it and that I needed a mechanic. My car of course wouldn't start back up because I needed a new battery and they would not even help me jump my car, so I was stuck in their shop for over an hour waiting formy roommate to come help. Jayson at this location went above and beyond to help me. I came in with two young children needing a new battery, and it was raining outside. The first employee said he would not change it for me, and then (probably seeing the desperation in my eyes) Jayson offered to do it. He stood in the rain while changing it and then further tested my alternator since the car didn't start right away (took 3 tries) after the new battery. Today I need some cleaner for my interior. So I decided to stop at this auto zone. I was unsure of what product I would need so I ask some one for help. Rudely she pointed out the most expensive cleaner and handed me a tire cleaning brush. So I shook it off and went and looked for a few more things I needed. Then when I was ready to check out. I was standing in line for about 10 mind while the guys in front of me were being helped and checked out. After determining the part for forward brake calipers from 2 different manufactures the manager stated the 2nd caliper was located at another store. I suggested they have it delivered to this store and I would return for it the next day. Upon returning it was not there they called and stated it would be delivered again the next day so I drove to the other store. After purchasing the part I compared to previous part already ordered. It didn't match (different manufactures). I discussed this with the manager on site and he stated they ordered 2 of the same side (left) and I needed the other part number which that store didn't have and that was now located at the original store I was just at. So what it comes down to is the personnel at this store didn't know left and right calipers have different part number and wasted time and gas on my part to find this out.
