I have a VW. Not certain why it was so hard. They said based on regional laws or something they couldn't even help me put in the oil. They weren't rude or anything. They just weren't helpful. So rather than demerit them because of the lack of resources they have with their computers I would just say AutoZone in its entirety needs to step up their game.

I'm pretty sure this is the least convenient store for my regular automotive needs but when I get tired of a 'special feature' on a crafty car this is a good spot to remedy that situation.

Review for Advance Auto Parts…read more After relocating to Charlotte from San Francisco for work, I've made it a point to seek out local businesses that deliver strong customer service, fair pricing, and reliability. I wasn't familiar with this franchise since we don't have them on the West Coast, but this visit turned into a surprisingly positive experience. I was simply looking for basic car-care staples--things like tire shine and windshield bug remover. While browsing online, I noticed that a premium brand product (normally priced over $9 for a small bottle) was listed on clearance for $0.95. That definitely caught my attention, so I decided to make the drive toward Pineville--about 12 miles from Uptown--and turn the trip into a productive errand day with grocery shopping and lunch. First impressions: Easy to find, easy parking, and the store was well organized. When I checked the shelf, I didn't immediately see the item that was advertised on clearance. I approached a young associate at the counter, explained what I was looking for, and he took the time to check the system. Instead of brushing me off, he went into the backstock area and located the product himself. He returned with not one, but two bottles--and they rang up exactly as advertised: $0.95 each. That kind of follow-through matters. I'm a value-driven shopper. I understand the cost of goods and the importance of quality, and I believe loyalty is earned through good service and honest pricing. When a business honors its advertised deals and takes the extra step to help a customer, it builds trust--and that's exactly what happened here. What stood out: * Helpful, proactive staff * Accurate pricing and honored clearance deal * Easy parking and convenient location * A positive, no-hassle shopping experience If you're willing to do a little homework and keep an eye on sales, this is definitely a place where you can find real value. I left feeling satisfied as a customer and confident that I now have a reliable go-to for basic car-care needs. Bottom line: Great customer service, honest pricing, and a solid value experience. This location has earned a spot on my list of trusted local businesses.
