They fixed it with a specialty extra long carbide drill bit and helicoiled the thread. Charged $150 ish. The manifold was worth $220 ish. But they were able to do it in a day so I guess I saved buying a new one, and shipping. The book time and labor cost was fair. The only way to get this out properly was going to be pricey, I don't really fault them for it. If the intake wasn't just duracoated I probably would have sold it and bought another.

Had a major surgery in September and ever since then have been in near constant pain. Sitting, laying down, getting up, nothing was comfortable. I saw some Youtube videos on lift chairs/electronic recliners and thought maybe one of them could help me get through my days. I also know I have more surgeries/procedures in the future. Found Bellevue Healthcare online and Bremerton was the closest one. Stopped in the next morning with a specific model I was hoping to check out. I believe it was Jorge, the branch manager that helped me. They had a similar model, and he was very helpful in showing me the features and letting me check out other options as well. Ultimately they didn't have the model I really wanted. Jorge checked the inventory at other locations and let me know they had the model I was interested in at their Sequim location and that he could bring it to Bremerton for me to check out the next day. I stopped in the next day and they let me just sit/lay in the chair for a good 20 minutes to make sure it met my needs. They gave me a nice little discount and were able to deliver the chair to me in Port Orchard as soon as the next day. Delivery was great, everything was set up, plugged in, and ready to go at no additional cost. 1 Star -- Complete Auto Repair destroyed my car and my finances…read more I cannot warn consumers strongly enough about Complete Auto Repair (also known as LK's Auto Repair) in Washington State. My experience with them was a nightmare that cost me thousands of dollars, forced me into debt and even temporary homelessness, and left my vehicle totaled. Between October 2024 and January 2025, I brought my Chevy Equinox in for overheating and routine repairs. What followed was an endless cycle of negligent, unprofessional, and deceptive work: They left bolts loose around my engine and exhaust, causing further damage -- which they verbally admitted but then concealed on paper. Their welding job clogged my catalytic converter, which they refused to fix unless I paid an additional $1,700. They denied clear evidence of head gasket failure, even when I showed them video proof of steam and leaking from the engine as well as the fouled oil cap. They charged me for an unnecessary alternator replacement -- they didn't even test it before swapping it. After sinking over $4,700 into repairs, they told me the car was now a total loss -- after I had spent far too much to walk away. Their incompetence forced me to take on an expensive new car loan, maxed out my credit cards, and left me homeless for several months when I had to choose between paying them or paying my rent. The financial stress crippled my business, causing it to report no income last year and forcing personal sacrifices to cover their damage. Complete Auto Repair manipulated me into spending more money at every step, knowing full well they were not solving the root problems. Their negligence and greed directly ruined my vehicle, my finances, and my well-being. Avoid this shop at all costs. I will be pursuing every available legal remedy and have filed formal complaints with the Attorney General, BBB, Police, and Consumer Affairs. If you value your car, your wallet, and your peace of mind -- GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I am not sure if this company used to have different owners that these bad reviews are coming from…read morebut I just experienced complete auto repaired today with Moe and it was an absolutely amazing experience!!! First of all my car broke down unexpectedly and I needed my alternator replaced. I received two other quotes from other places and they were both $250-$300 more expensive than complete auto repair. Secondly Moe was able to take me in the same day and have me out of there within a couple hours! He was able to let me know about some thing that was causing another problem and made sure to inform me that he would help me out with that and find a way to keep it within the warranty of the current part that was getting ruined from the other part . it was fair kind fast amazing and honest. Definitely choose complete auto repair for all of your needs. I will be telling everyone I know about them!
