They, apparently were having a promotion (one of those "you won a free big screen TV" postcard mailings ) and it was pretty chaotic. We were shown a handful of cars on the lot and then rushed into the cubicle to provide information for financing when we hadn't even settled on a vehicle, let alone a price! The second dealership, shiny and new in luzerne county was pleasant and very calming. The salesperson was very patient with my questions and kind. However, they took my trade for a drive and evaluated it but was stalling on proposing an offer. This turned me off. We need to know what the dealer is willing to pay for our vehicle to ensure we are able to get into a payment we can afford. The third dealership, the best dealership, was Outten Kia. As soon as I walked in, I was already stressed from previous experiences and not in the mood to get the run around or take any crap. Cue Adam to enter scene. What an all around fantastic guy. He immediately put me at ease and allowed me to step back and give him some information. He asked if we were looking for new or used and what we would like to have in our next vehicle. Once we discussed our wish list, Adam told us what he had on the lot that could fit our requests. We ended up with the vehicle we had hoped for at a fair price, keeping our payments comfortable enough that we won't have to worry about the repo man We only wish we hadnt wasted two full days of car shopping and had just gone to Outten Kia first. Got a decent price on a 2016 Highlander ltd. The People…read moreseem friendly. Had to send the car back a few times because they didn't clean it. 3 attempts and it seems like all they did was put tire shine on. They said it was detailed yet the gas lifts for the hatch were caked in grime. When I wiped it it came down like a waterfall. Caused me an extra hour wait time and it just seems that the people who do the cleaning of the cars don't take pride. Not sure if they are under staffed or if good help is hard to find. I just got a feeling if you buy a used car here you will end up cleaning the car the right way. YOURSELF.

I was concerned about a negative review written by an individual. The individual apparently was having an emotionally bad day when he visited 12-Volt Dave's. Some people in this world cannot be pleased no matter how hard someone tries. I met Dave, the owner, and I was impressed with his knowledge, courtesy and pricing. The price quoted was an average price for work of this type but the quality of his work was outstanding, to say the least. The work I wanted done was straight forward work installing hidden power leads to my GPS and dash cam. His quote before the work was performed was $40.00 to $60.00 dollars, including tax. The amount of the bill was midway within the quoted amount. I know individuals who have been quoted low prices by a facility north of Allentown only to be told at time of installation the bill was going to be more than double the quoted amount. 12-Volt Dave was a man of his word with the quote, the actual price and the professional, factory look of the installation. I do not know what more a person could reasonably expect from Dave's facility. Price was as quoted. Work was professional. And, the attitude of both Dave and his employees was exemplary. It would be my guess the person who wrote the negative review of Dave's place is just a generally unhappy person who wanted something for nothing. I would, and will, go back to 12-Volt Dave's for more work in the future. And, so you do not think I am a kid in his 20's with little experience dealing with individuals, I am in my 60's, work in Manhattan most days and I call things the way they are.

BOY am i glad i did. my wheels were so unbalanced the whole car shook from 30 up and at 75 was unbearable. this is my only tire balancing shop now. or mounting tires shop. YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU WENT HERE FIRST instead of some chain tire shop with totally inexperienced employees. Also, Ben who had picked up a time or two when I would called and let me know about parts they were waiting for. Thank you! I ended up being stuck on the side of the road because the radiator hoses were not installed properly and then I had antifreeze all of the engine bay of my jeep and all over the road. I was missing the install clips and the electrical cover and with the jeep system not being reset the dash lit up with dash lights I had to look up in my manual while I waited for help.

Vince's was kind enough to squeeze me in and fix my car that day. They gave me 2 options to fix my car (either replace my steering column, or try a sealant and thicker steering fluid). I didnt feel any pressure to go the more expensive route and they explained the pros and cons of both approaches. I decided to try the sealant approach first and I greatly appreciate having a choice and not being forced into an expensive fix on my older Subaru. This approach worked and they even tighten my belts as well as buffed out my headlight for free. I would recommend Vince's Auto Repair without hesitation to anyone.
