My battery just went out today near Auto Zone. Luckily, Roewen was able to diagnose my old battery and replace it with a new one. He did an excellent job, and I am so grateful that he helped me. I could not have asked for a better person to assist me. He was very professional and explained what he was doing step-by-step to get my car running again. Thank you so much Roewen for helping me. Also, thank you AutoZone for having great employees and for having quality batteries. read more

Just left the store after unfair customer service (6 customers serviced before me, 3 in person and 3 were calls. Was buying a second starter and asked if the part was a manufacturer recalled or faulty would they compensate me for the labor chargers. Brandon asked me what sound I was hearing from the started and stated that his a mechanic and it not the starter. I stated that my mechanic said that that could very well be the case but highly unlikely the thing Brandon was referring to! To this statement he got very offended and I tried to explain that I just wanted him to test the starter and would use my mechanic to Dx the problem and/or he could also test the old one when I bring it back. Also, that if in fact, it was not truly the starter then obviously it's on me. Starter was under warranty yet had to purchased a 2 cd new starter. I am a women, medical professional (deal with the spectrum of human interaction) and contributor to our community. None of this was said. Energetically it was obvious that he was threatened a/o a superiority complex and probably something against women... I was ask to leave and threatened to have the police called by Brandon (claiming to be the manager) asked for owners numbers and was directed to the posted information outside which I called (first number sounds like it was disconnected, 2cd number left a message, 3 regional manager left another message). Hopefully, they will call me back! I tried to explain to him that I did not understand automobiles yet was asking a question and not sure why the answer was so complicated! Which ok, was probably rude yet I would not have gone there if he was going around in circles and wasting my time. He refused to check my starter and would not let the other employee check it. Have more to say yet think ya get the point! Appreciate this venue to vent and hopefully make change! Lastly, Ladies don't go there...have a man, apparently that's what it would have taken to get fair service and be treated with respect. read more

Horrible service. An employee named "Colton" was rude, inappropriate, and completely unhelpful. He was trying to get me to buy parts I didn't actually need. I'm glad I didn't waste any money, but it was definitely a waste of time. read more

I went in the Kapaa store to get a part, the 2 guys stood in an isle behind the counter joking with each other..neither acknowledged me or asked to help me.. I finally had to ask them, got the stink eye for interrupting them, then when I asked for my part he didn't even know what it was!! I had to find one like it on the isle, it was 5", (I needed 6") when I showed them the part they shook their heads and got on their phones..Rude As......obviously no training??? I'll stick with Napa here in Kauai..Wailua Larry read more

Crazy over priced!!!!! Expect to pay 40% more for the exact same product you can get at Walmart or Amazon Prime. AutoZone needs to improve their customer service training for their managers too. Was glad to see them open the store here to give some competition but I will not be stepping foot in there again. Cancel my AutoZone Rewards! I won't be needing it. read more

We came in with a problem with repairing a scratch on a car and Judah was so helpful! He gave us very thorough and thoughtful advice. This was such a good customer service experience! read more

John and Char helped us get out of a extremely tough and stressful situation. Quite quickly and simply. Helping us find what we needed as on the road again. Being able to borrow the tools needed for free , helped tremendously. Went from lost and giving up, to relieved and on the road again! Thank you so much, we will only be going to auto zone for any future needs! read more

So great! Ran into Tryten outside, he asked me what was wrong with my car, went in and got a meter to check between alternator, battery, and starter. They helped me get the right battery, installed it, took care of the old one for me and were super friendly and helpful throughout the process. Staff joked around with each other and seemed like family. Will be returning for all my auto needs. Oh yeah, last time I needed oil in late in the evening I tried 3 gas stations and then called my teenager... he suggested autozone and they were open late by Kauai standards and had what I needed! read more

If Nate the store manager is there you're set. Anything you need. He definitely has the knowledge and experience for any project you got .

I was pleasantly surprised today when I called AutoZone to find out if they had a part; the person there actually walker me through several different options for various parts I needed for two different vehicles. He also was patient on the phone with me and explained what the parts would be for and if I needed additional smaller parts to go with them. I also was super impressed that he recommended three different local auto repair shops that were reasonable in terms of price and great service. It's not often that you get good customer service over the phone especially to franchise like this. read more

Went in today, not greeted, not asked if I needed help. Asked guy where is a particular item was, he told me the wrong aisle. I got the sense no one cared to help customers. Workers talking stories behind the counter. Found what I needed, paid, no "thank you" from the clerk...nothing. Fail!! read more

Friendly, helpful people! We were having a bad day, broke a belt due to a fried tension idler and the gang at Auto Zone in Lihue went above and beyond to get us back on the road. Knowledgeable and so understanding. I won't go across the parking lot to the "O"ther guys. read more

Been here a few times. Employees super nice and helpful. So convenient in Kapaa and well-stocked not like other shops around town. Will be back. read more

Our rental car plastic bumper guard was coming loose and I knew they would try to charge us for it so I stopped by Autozone to see if the had the clips to tighten it back up. John was extremely helpful, not only picking out the part for me, but actually helping to get the old one out and the new one in. Thanks John- amazing service. When I get home I'm going to find the nearest autozone and make sure I buy my auto parts there. read more

I asked them to look up a part and they refused. Prices are extremely high. 19 dollars for a cap.

Great service better prices then anywhere else on island. Shipping faster and FREE. Warranty on tools LIFETIME... unreal...

Unfriendly unknowledgeable staff. I went here because I wanted to check it out. I asked about bike racks and they didn't have any answers. I will stick with o Reilly. Besides they were here first and why would you open another auto parts right next door. Rude. read more
