Took a test drive, I had noticed online that it had been on there lot for about 4 months. When we got back we were outside talking about the 2021 compass and I said I am surprised you have not sold it. His comment was we do not have alot of employees here , we just have been busy and not promoted it. I told him I was interested, I would call him or text him that afternoon. I sent an offer of 1200 dollars below what they were asking for it. I was surprised they accepted it. Made an appt for that Saturday to do the paperwork and give them a deposit.Went in Saturday morning. they were helping other people. While I waited I asked them for a copy of the carfax to look at. As I was reviewing I noticed it had been in an accident. Airbag deployed, structural damage, vehicle overturned. Now I know why it sat on their lot for so long, and why they accepted my offer so quickly. I told them I changed my mind and left. Please when dealing with them , ask for the car fax before you do anything. Thank god I caught it early enough. I will no longer deal with them. Buyer Beware.
