After installing the new battery, the car still did not start so we arranged for tow to a local shop. We discovered that NAPA sold us a "new" battery that was almost four years old and was also bad. Returned to NAPA and found out that their only other available battery was also over three years old. We then found another battery at another shop. Needless to say, I am incredibly disappointed with NAPA passing off old batteries as new and causing additional expenses. We all know it is not a pleasant experience to have car issues. But it's exasperating to have the issue complicated by NAPA passing off old inventory as new and causing customers additional and unneeded costs. I highly recommend avoiding this particular store in favor of other local auto parts retailers.
