Van was stuck in a friend's driveway a few days ago. I called AAA, and they sent me this company. The driver that showed up did next to nothing. He took pictures, sent them to his boss, and apparently, AAA wouldn't cover it because it was "unplowed." My friends had used their 4 wheelers to plow before I even got there earlier that day. They offered for me to pay for it if I got under and dug my van out. I declined that because that's why I have AAA. I wonder how many ditches are remotely plowed? Then they just left. My daughter got ahold of me, and her and her boyfriend came out to help. He also had a truck that was lesser in power. It took all of less than 20 minutes, and he got me out. Then, today, I left my thoughts on a post of theirs, then got blocked for it as being "unreasonable." One of their employees continued arguing with me on my personal Facebook page. I don't usually do this because I, too, work with the public, and I know how much common sense they lack, but blocking people for a negative review is unacceptable. I called AAA to let them know about all of this, and they also said what happened is not a proper representation of AAA. Won't be using this company again. read more

We were driving back from Canada and blew a belt & bearing. These guys came out at 5pm at night on a Saturday within 10 mins. We got the truck to their shop and they had all parts in stock and us back on the road within an hour! Where else can you find that service on the side of the road. Was greeted as soon as I drove in by Justin. My service appointment started right on time, diesel oil change and fuel filters. As a new diesel owner I was very pleased that they went over some of the other preventive maintenance items that should be performed. During the work it was discovered that a bolt connecting a rear shock absorber to the frame was cracked. They fixed it for me right then and there. I received a call from my son that my truck was making a terrible noise when he would move and that he didn't want to drive it any further. I called Roadside Assistance and they dispatched AutoSmith. The driver was there before I made it there to pick up my son, and the truck quit making the noise. The gentleman from AutoSmith offered to follow me back to Crosby just in case and was very polite. 2006 BMW 325 xi (requires flatbed) blew a radiator fitting/hose & needed a tow back home to Duluth MN from Sturgeon Lake MN. Tyler (my tow driver) arrived exactly on time as estimated, his truck was immaculate (inside & out), he was very careful w/my veh., knowledgeable, VERY polite/professional & had overall AWESOME customer service as he drove my veh & me back to Duluth. Made sure I was safe & sound before he pulled away & everything. Super nice guy! I'm a MN Licensed Insurance Agent (specializing in Commercial Insurance), & this was a roadside claim. That means AutoSmith Services/Dennis' Towing is a company that would service my clients. What a relief to know my clients are in such great hands when this company comes to the rescue. AutoSmith Services/Dennis' Towing is based out of Aitkin, Ironton & McGregor & so is able to service a wide radius around the Hwy 210 area (including Sturgeon Lake to Duluth).
