I had ordered a cv axle for my Jeep. I followed all of the prompts to verify the one for my vehicle, which is stated for a 4x4 on the site. But what is not stated is that this certain axle is meant for an all wheel drive not 4x4. Mine is a front wheel drive/4x4. I finally got to chat with customer service, worst experience ever!!! He basically said that I did not know what I was talking about when I tried to explain the issue. I have been working on cars since i was 14. I'm no idiot about them!!! So now I half to suck up the loss and ship the item back because their criteria on the site does not explain the difference. Never again will I deal with this company!!!!! read more

I was interested in exhaust for my car. Within 3 months the price was $197 to $202. then $406. What is going on? Terrible customer service. Stay away. read more

I ordered a part from Auto Shack. BIG MISTAKE. They sent me an order confirmation and tracking number for DHL. After a week of trying to track the shipment, I gave up and called DHL. The order had never been picked up and was sitting in the Auto Shack warehouse while my car remained immobile. Do not do business with Auto Shack or any company using DHL as their shi pper. Neither is reliable. read more

We looked everywhere for wheel bearings for my vehicle and they were all a crazy price for one and it was going to take a long time getting them in. I went online and search for wheel bearing for my vehicle and Auto Shack came up. The price was amazing and the speed of deliver was great. We also were able to get rear brakes. We will definitely be getting car parts from here again. read more

Great Prices, I give 5 stars, unfortunately auto shack loses a star for not having more parts and loses another star for having bundles ie: brake pads, rotors, wheel bearings (coming soon) so they have to be ordered separately which can cost more...so 3 out of 5. Price these parts to any mechanic out there, they can't get the parts for this price even with their specialty discount. read more

So why do *I* like it when I don't know the right side of a wrench? Because they are Canadian owned and operated, and they sell work gloves and those heating things to keep your hands and feet warm in the winter. I go there maybe every 3-4 months to check out what is on display. It's different than a hardware store, but also good and useful.

Immediately after driving away from the garage, we noticed the front left area of the car was making a funny rubbing noise. I immediately brought it back to the service department to have it checked. At that time their very condescending Service Manager told me that nothing they had done would cause the car to make that noise, and that in fact, the car was making the noise before the appointment but I just didn't hear it because the winter rims were thicker than the summer rims. After saying that I thought this was ridiculous, I was told if I didn't believe what he was saying, I was more than welcome to take the car to another garage. Less than 24 hours later, on the way to another garage, the front left tire fell off the car, causing over $8000 worth of damage. Now they are denying that they are at fault and I am out a $500 deductible because of their terrible service.

Always great prices and service. Been our go to for 2 years even with issue they tried to fix it before we got refund. Bought tow mirrors for 04 ram and they were 2 different styles they shipped a left then right side. But still 2 different styles. Our sets for dakota were perfect. Went on line and ordered rear brake kit. I entered the wrong zip code be a number and when I went to the UPS web site I saw my mistake. I called and spoke with a very friendly lady who said they would take care of it right away. Parts showed up and we were back on the road the next day. I was impressed actually. The item I ordered was on time and exactly what I was looking for. Was great quality as well when I expected it to be alil cheaper quality. I ordered the same product from Amazon and it was more expensive and lower quality than what I got from this company. So overall I'm very happy and will be doing business with them again! read more
