Contacted this company to bring it back to Ontario, and it was supposed to be picked up the following week and dropped off 2 days later at our mechanic here in Ontario. They moved my car from the mechanic to another lot with no notification, and it took 3 weeks of hounding them with unanswered emails and calls before my car was finally delivered. I hired this company to pick up a van in London to bring to Sudbury. they claimed it would take approximately a week. It's been a month I still have no van and they're calling me for payment. WTF. I've been trying to contact someone for 3 weeks so we can send drivers to pick It up and nobody will respond to my messages. beware of this company I've been in the auto industry for over 30 years and ship vehicles weekly and I've never had to deal with anything like this ever in my career. All I want is to know we're my van is and no one will Tell me. I strongly urge no one use these Guys they are crooks. read more

This company is a fraud they shouldn't be running. I would give zero stars if I could. My car is missing. I dropped it off 6 weeks ago. It was meant to take 10-14 days. Nobody in the company can tell me where it is. They are impossible to get ahold of. Their phone number has no operator and the extensions listed all send you to voicemail. Nobody returns phone calls from this company. The dispatch number/owner's number just goes to voicemail. The online tracking function doesn't work. The online chat is bogus and isn't regularly staffed by employees who can actually help. I have paid my invoice in complete. I had police check into the location they told me the car was sitting- on a broken down truck- and the police said there is no broken down truck. I have filled a stolen vehicle and fraud report against them at this point. read more

I would give this company ZERO stars if that was possible. They shipped (or say they did) my uncles scooter and it never arrived. It's been over 6 MONTHS with no response after dozens of emails and promises made from Automoves to resolve the issue. I would STAY AWAY from Automoves if you want your items to be delivered and not be ripped off. They don't seem to care about their reputation as a company or taking care of their customers. be careful very careful do not ship any exotics with these guys I had them ship both my Lamborghinia what a nightmare one got written off and put up for auction my whole window got broken in the back big cut right into my driver front fender from clearly a hitch ripped a big chunk out of it and they left it abandoned outside of addesa with no tarp even over the window my whole interior got destroyed...i had to get a appraiser to come and access the damage and clearly a write off it's been almost two years and still fighting to get my deductible and my loss of use from insurance as they try to prolong things anyone else have a experience like this let me know from what I been told they change to other companies or names also do not know how they are still in business read more

Really disappointed with this service. Frankly nonexistent communication with me that resulted in me driving an hour to pick up my vehicle and my vehicle was not there. I had to return three days later without any concessions made for me. Rude interaction with the service rep via text message and when trying to pick up my vehicle. All said, it's not worth the headache to go with this company. Pick anyone else - I can't imagine how they'd be worse than Automoves. read more

I contracted automoves to transport my vehicle from calgary to halifax. I was told by andrejs it would take 12-14 days. After three weeks I began contacting them daily to find out where my car was, never received a reply. Their AR person, Ruta, contacted me to say my car would arrive in three days, this was after I threatened to call the RCMP. The car never showed. After 9 weeks, and absolutely no contact with automoves other than one email I reported the car stolen to the RCMP. The car was dropped off to a local towing company a week later with no paperwork. I PAID FOR DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE. THIS COMPANY IS JUST A BROKER, THEY HAVE NO TRUCKS OF THEIR OWN AND ARE TOTAL IDIOTS. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS AT ANY COST. Shipped my father's pick up truck from Calgary earlier this month. Their quote was slightly higher than rail but I could leave my personal items in the back seat and my tool box which was certainly handy. And the delivery time was just under a week which certainly beat other options. Will use them again if my car purchase goes through. read more
