This is very frustrating being without a vehicle for so long and not even knowing when it will be completed. I know that all mechanics give estimated times, but 2 full weeks and not even started! They should have told me to bring it later as I need my auto and it was driveable. Just very frustrated with the lack of communication. As of now the plan is at the START first of the week, Mon-Wed.... I will continue to update as I impatiently wait for my vehicle to be completed.

I decided to not take it back to them because it would only be worst. DO NOT TAE YOUR CAR HERE Kept my car for too long, consistently said it would be ready and then when I called they would give a different date (they never called me with an update) I left my car for a week with them, when I returned the car still wasn't ready and took an additional week, even though they said it would be ready upon my return. My car sounds worst than when I dropped it off, it now makes more noise like the screws are loose on my engine. My service engine light came back on after the supposed repair, that's what they were supposedly fixing, as well as my tire pressure light came back on the very next day. They are the WORST -- please let this review be a WARNING -- DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE *if you're reading this message after the fact, I go get your car now, if you can. That same day Jerry provided a preliminary estimate and since it was for significantly less than I expected, I told him to do the repair. Less than 24 hours later the job was completed at the quoted price and I was ready to roll. I've since put over a thousand miles on the repaired vehicle and it runs as good as new. I have done business with this company over many years with multiple vehicles and have always been 100% satisfied by the quality work, quick turnaround and fair price charged by Jerry and his team at this shop.

Brakes were fine, just dust build up, so no charge and appreciated. However, I was charged $531.95 for the alternator part alone (GM part #20911162), before labor/tax/fees. The same exact part number is available from Amazon ($199.70), GMPartsGiant ($268.81), and GMPartsClub ($318.59) -- all about half off what I paid, even accounting for normal shop markup over retail. Labor ($192) was fair. I wasn't shown itemized part pricing before authorizing the repair. Ask for the exact part number and price breakdown before agreeing to a repair here, or get a second quote. If you don't, expect to pay completely avoidable and unneccesary markups.
