I would never recommend this place. I've been with out a car since September 20 roughly. I've been placed in 2 faulty cars that both had MAJOR ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION ISSUES! ONE EVEN STARTED TO SMOKE WHEN I CRANKED IT while the salesman was standing there!!! They stated that I can't get out of the contract and I still have to make a payment on the loan. My interview started with the pay scale so there wouldn't be any confusion... after 2 weeks... my paycheck was a 3rd of what was agreed.. i sucked it up and figured it was training pay... even tho i was told one thing and paid another.... then my next check for 1/2 the month was only 1/2 of agreed amount.. Even tho the owner called me only hours earlier to confirm agreed amount... i was warned by current and previous employees.. that this is their normal way of cheating employees... i quit... the owner called me and made up lies to try to explain my check... the amount of dishonesty, unprofessionalism is not worth only a portion of your promised wages... i would recommend staying away from this company either as a employee or a customer. I don't recommend the cars but specifically this location due to the staff. They are liars it's not $500 down it's $1000-1500. The manager here was rude as hell when I went to look for a car. They let me look at a vehicle that was just traded in with trash everywhere in it??? Idk why but I felt discriminated! I had cash ready to buy. They didn't let me see certain cars cause "manager was busy" man did not know how to se or info on why the cars cost $13000 prob the lowest you'll get there even for a 2010 or 2011. Sad to say! Don't go here! Spare yourself the time and mone wasted. Go to a real car lot! Also ie had my car for 3months 3trans issues within that time. Buyer Beware... This is a predatory lender!!! They will give anyone a loan & forget to mention the 30% interest. They also work with you until you are in what is "supposed" to be your last year of payments & then repossess the car under a "breach of contract". Once they have your car, you won't get it back & hopefully there was nothing of importance in there because their employees scavenge & take what they want first & then you get whatever is left of your property back. Ok so I'm sharing my Automaxx story. They asked me to write a review before I left with my new car. It was a good review because they were so nice. After I left, I found out that my vehicle blue books at 5000-7000, which is the total of the down payment I gave them. They charged me 14,000. My heart is a little broken because I went there with the few thousand my mother left me in her passing, on the advise of another car dealership. I was looking to buy a cash car and they said Automaxx might be a little cheaper (they weren't) It has been 1 month now and my car has been in the shop twice. In my opinion, a 14,000 car shouldn't have trouble like this. Needless to say, my first car buying experience has been regretful, but taught me what not to do in the future. For those of you who don't mind paying double the value of a car, it's easy to get one. I don't recommend going without someone with you who knows when they're working you over. Be cautious... Yes they are frauds I had 2 cars within 14 days paid them 1,500 dollars down and they took the car back saying I default but wanted me to bring the car back and leave it for a week to be fixed mind you this was the 2nd car the first car transmission was bad motor was leaking and the tire fell off on me on the freeway, the 2nd car motor leaking wheel barings bad struts bad and shocks I didnt even want the 2nd car but they told me I couldn't get my money back and basically had to get a car or lose my money. Omg where to start... I purchased a vehicle from here dec Nov 2019 as soon as I drove off the lot the car needed a front end alignment. Also that night my little brother attempted to get into the backseat and the door handle came off. This car has clearly been in a wreck which it showed bc I constantly have to change the tires on this car. Ice changed the tired at least 4-5 times in a yr. they did fix the front end alignment and gave me a foot handle that does not match the color of my car but the tire issue seems like a big one. During this pandemic they have not offered me any assistance says they do not offer deferments to help. I fell behind due to lack of income from the Pandemic spoke with a manage who told me if if I paid $700 they would take my car out of repo status but it was a lie they attempted to repo my car 2 days later behind being a payment and a half behind and I had to pay $600 to keep my car. Unfortunately a repo will probably go on my credit. When I brought up the manager that told me to make the payment they claimed she was no longer working for them. Amy says there is no manager above her and that there is no escalation department. This is the most unprofessional group of individuals they make fun of you for needing help!! BUY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! These people are the devil! Purchased a vehicle from them about a month ago. I didn't notice anything abnormal about the vehicle during the test drive. It's a decent vehicle even if a bit dated. So, two days after taking the vehicle off the lot, I began to hear a noise as I was driving that sounded like a coffee grinder. Took it back to Auto Maxx, they said their mechanic would take a look at it and would call when it was ready. One huge problem is these people don't seem to care about the inconvenience of lost wages, and time when you have to bring a vehicle back. They do NOT loan cars while yours is being repaired either. I would think it's common courtesy especially since we hadn't even had the car a week. So about four days after dropping it off, they call and say pick it up. There was still a grinding noise under the hood. I called them back and was told by the idiotic staff, there was nothing that could be done except have the mechanic look at again. I also have two children I drive to school and I work so being without my car is an inconvenience. About five days later is when I got the car back the second time. So another week goes by before they call and say the car is ready. I drive a week with no issues when all of a sudden the car overheat!!! Again I'm told all they can do is have the mechanic take another look. So this is my third visit in less than a month and I'm extremely upset. Plus now, they're saying I have a $100 deductible! For what !?They won't give me a new car unless the mechanic squares deal first. What a load of BULL. This has to the worst car buying experience in my life. I purchased a 2013 Honda from the AutoMaxx on Crowley Rd. In Fort Worth and I have regretted it everyday since. First of all the first week the car was down for 3 days. Then i had to pay an EXTRA $50 for insurance until I brought the new insurance declaration page back the next day. I brought it back only for the correction not to be made in the system. Then I start receiving calls 2 weeks later following the purchase for a payment that should have been on a monthly schedule. Well needless to say they had screwed up the contract and made it bi-weekly instead of monthly. To this day they are still charging me for insurance that I don't need and won't change the contract they screwed up until I do. This is a extremely unprofessional bootleg establishment with rude customer service representatives to match. I don't know how AUTOMAXX could even be associated with the BBB...except for complaints that is. A "1" is much too generous. I have never dealt with these substandard establishments and now I know why...THEY ARE A RIP-OFF!!! read more

I hope this will help someone in the past i used automaxx on crowley road and hemphill in fort worth and got screwed should of learned then. Now in desprate need of a vehicle and expressed my concerens from my last experience to Matt and David from Wichita st location assured me wouldnt let that happen again so i test drove my tahoe twice nothing wrong but had to pass inspection before could sell so even though super high milage its a vortic motor they last forever i said ok and gave 500 deposit. Over a week later signed paperwork which wasnt a correct contract so had my payments starting the 3 days after recieved vehicle(dealer error that took a month to fix and 3 monthes later still an issue) and guess what lifter issues and overheating put it in the shop first time cracked radiator, over a week later before returned still loud ticking. Second time in the shop no heater, missing, and still loud ticking what do they do charge me 100 bucks for conectors and add motor honey and advise me i am behind in payments. Yes through this all i paid my 170 biweekly but guess what im behind according to them. So here it is purchased on dec 15th and as of today 3/7 and monday back in the shop due to missing, loosing power and ticking so loud over radio on 10 and having to pay a payment they claim im behind , a due payment, and 100 for a connector. Please do research before trust Automaxx with the safety of your children in there vehicles and them ripping you off with a warranty that covers what they feel set too and taking every penny u have cause they screwed up.
