I should have caught this, but it's not the kind of thing I have to worry about and I want to work with a company that I can trust to make a sensible suggestion. When they activated the my sprinklers earlier this season, they told me that I needed a new filter--when the service person realized he didn't have the part in the truck, he told me that I actually don't need the filter replaced. So did I not need it, or were you just trying to uncharge me? Or do I actually need it, and you never took the time to come back and fix it?

This is a phenomenal company from A-to-Z. You're not going to find that record in any business unless the owner is a really good guy..... and Steve is just that! Last November I got a commitment from a company in Wayne, Pa. to do my underground automatic sprinkler system. By April he was MIA and then totally ghosted me, finally telling me that he was just too busy to take on my property. Really??? I was so disappointed because I invested six months (!!) into waiting for this company. But then I called Underground Sprinklers, Steve said he was overwhelmed but was still willing to come out and give me an estimate and take a peek. 10 days later, I had the first stage of my underground sprinkler system installed. We have nine zones with an option to expand even more. Each zone can be customized to Water for the exact number of minutes you choose, and in the end, you can have different time frames for each zone. The whole system is so beautifully designed and an architectural wonder! Steve is a very unique employer who gives his heart and soul into every job and prioritizes customer satisfaction. So I would give them an 11 out of 10 stars... You will never regret it if you hire them- and you'll get the best of the best, and finally have peace of mind to enjoy holidays and weekends away, so you will know that your investment into your perennials, vegetables, and flowers won't be ruined by a week of drought conditions. There's nothing I would change... They are professionals from A-to-Z, so give Steve a call!!!!?

I rely on their recommendations and design for the best solution for each added landscaped area and they never go overboard on equipment and pricing. After adding a large flower bed this spring I knew we needed their help and when i called, they were booked out for 3 weeks so I planned to hand water and wait for them rather than call someone else. Three days later, operations manager Steve calls me on Friday afternoon, said he'd just looked over the property and if it was ok, his crew could be over in an hour. Next thing I know, his team of 8 was digging around all of the new planting, carefully running a new line, moving sprinkler heads, replacing the turf, re-spreading the bark mulch and testing each zone. A 3 week schedule became 3 days, with the work completed by Friday evening. Sure we're a good customer and expect good service but this effort was outstanding.

If you decide to go with someone else or not do the work then you get hit with the fee. I'm OK with that. But that's not how this company operates. I had a leak. Adam showed up. I showed him the leak. He dug it up and fixed it and charged me. Perfectly fine. And then they charged the $110 on top of that. They refuse to waive it. IF you're OK with this policy, then you will probably like them. IF like me, you think this is not customer friendly, then be aware and you may want to consider one of the many alternatives. I was a repeat customer for them with winterizations, spring start up, etc. Because of their policy, they lost my business. Edited in response to owner's comments as she is leaving out critical information. Donna R says she listened to the call but she is leaving out that she also heard me comment about the fee and express dissatisfaction with it. She also heard me say that the leak was in the same place where last year they replaced a valve component. I expressed on the call that I thought it would be a warranty repair. THAT is the only reason I agreed to have them come out. As it turns out it was not related to the valve and thus I was responsible for the repair. Which was fair and have no problem paying. And regardless of whether or not I was told up front, it is not a customer friendly policy. One that I would not have accepted if not for the possibility of warranty coverage. And one that i will not accept moving forward. And no, Donna R., I'm not calling the office to discuss. I don't need to hear you explain the policy again. It is what it is.
