Very glad that they did. Before actually ever meeting them, their communication impressed me. Let me know how much it was going to be within reason, texted to make sure that everything was systems go and was very courteous and professional over the phone. Refreshing change of pace if you ask me. Got to the shop and they gave me the option of waiting there. Initially thinking it was going to take longer, I was pleasantly surprised. Took only 3 hours and my vehicle is finally running more like it did when I first got it some years ago. It should be noted that suspension work was required, which makes their performance even that much more impressive. There are a couple of other things that need to be done yet, but they let me know what parts are critical and what can be delayed for a little bit. Our Explorer needed a battery bracket and alternator, which the dealer wanted to backlog us for a few days and have it in the shop. In the past two years I have gone to Ray several times for repairs on my 2005 Hyundai Sonata. Lorenzo Nissan charged me $2000 for a tuneup (I know, i got ripped off), but then the exhaust became clogged and there was a pinging noise in the engine and they quoted me another $1800 for original Nissan parts, labor not included, that would take an extra three days to order and arrive. I couldn't be without my 2009 Nissan Pathfinder for a whole week, so I towed my car away from the Nissan dealership, far away from their so-called "experts" and notoriously poor customer service and exorbitant rates for labor and inflated prices of original Nissan parts. Actually, not too far away, one of the top rated auto mechanics in Broward county paid for my tow and completed all the repairs the NEXT day. This was true customer service, a business model every automobile mechanic garage should follow. Learn from my mistake, AVOID the terrible dealership service centers, take your vehicle to Autogenx in Davie. They work with you to diagnose, fix, and maintain your car with economical OEM parts that are just as good or better than what you will get from any car manufacturer authorized service centers. Why can't Nissan dealership service centers order and install affordable OEM parts? Why can't they use their expertise to diagnose and repair issues quickly?? Why can't their employees give you the respectful customer service that we all deserve??? I think they just don't care about us and don't value their customers the way that Autogenx does. Instead of verbally giving me a long list of things wrong with the car they brought me to my car and showed me that my brake pads were very low and explained it in a way I could understand.
