Went in for a single pass thru their washer. Waited 5 min at entrance to washer. Even after tapping my horn o one came to take my money and assist. Happened at this location on Mon, 5-18-2026 at about 12:15 am (near noon). As I was driving out I spoke to employee wiping down a car and told him no one was at the entrance. He said "sorry about that". Left there and drove 2 doors down to stop at American Pride Xpress car wash. More expensive but their customer service waa GREAT. read more

*Vehicle was damaged in car wash* My husband took our vehicle to Autobell in Garner on 8/20 for a car wash and detail. When he returned home (8 min away) to show me, we immediately noticed small paint chips all over our hood, brush scratches running in a line up the hood, and multiple pits in the windshield. We knew that this damage had to have come from Autobell, because none of this was present prior to going through the car wash. Our vehicle is kept in a garage unless we are driving it. Immediately, we called Autobell and described what happened. There was no manager present at that time so we were asked to come back the next day. We also began a claim with our insurance company to document what had occurred. When we brought the car back the next day (8/21) only the Assistant Manager was present and he was concerned that we had left the previous day. He actually said "Now, I'm not saying you're lying about it..." We left the previous day because we were not expecting damage to our vehicle after a simple car wash. We only noticed the damage upon arrival home when I walked out to look at the car. He also stated that it looked like the "bug damage" that he had on his truck, which is irrelevant and not the damage we witnessed. He was in touch with the manager who suggested running the vehicle through the car wash again to "prove that the damage couldn't have come from their machine." The car came out with more damage of tiny paint chips on the doors that was consistent with the damage that had occurred on the hood the previous day. The assistant manager did not acknowledge this damage. He then proceeded to explain that in his opinion the damage wouldn't warrant a claim for them to cover the repair. Regardless of his opinion, our vehicle was damaged by this company and needs to be repaired. We were told to come back on Monday to speak with an actual manager. We returned on Monday 8/23 and spoke with the manager, Brian. He just kept saying there was no way his machine could have damaged the vehicle. He did not listen, empathize, or do anything to provide customer service that would be expected of a business manager. He disrespected my husband and accused him of lying when he stated our daily driving consists of ~5 minutes to/from our daughters daycare. He tapped his clipboard and said "Well, your mileage reflects differently." Our vehicle mileage is irrelevant. The fact is that our vehicle was damaged - chipped paint, brush scratches and pits in the windshield. This needs to be rectified. We have submit a claim with Autobell, and we will not stop pursing this until Autobell takes ownership of this damage and compensates us appropriately. read more

Now that 'Pollenpocalypse 2019' is over and there isn't rain (aka nature's car wash) in the 7 day forecast, I decided to pay for a exterior car wash and interior detailing. (Black cloth seats & two shedding Beagles do not mix) This Autobell is on my drive home from work, so it's most convenient for me. I've used this Autobell once for just an exterior car wash and once previously for a Full Service Wash. Both times I was really impressed so I expected the same today. When I arrived, there was 8-10 cars waiting in the area in front of the car wash. Still, I was already there so wanted to get it done. I paid for a Full Service wash then walked through the building to the waiting area. The indoor area was totally full, so I waited outside. Since it was so busy, I sat in the sun for quite a while, which got toasty. They could benefit from more indoor seating. My car sat for a while, until a young man started cleaning the interior, cleaning the doggy nose art off passenger windows and wiping down the front dash. Then he drove the car around to the back of the establishment, I assume to vacuum the interior. The seats and floorboards of the front of the car were pretty clean, but I could see some dog hair still in the back seats. Not a big deal, I know how hard it is to get dog hair out of cloth seats. However, as I drove away, I looked in my rear view mirror and saw the dead bug that has been taunting me for the past few weeks still on the rear deck. I get that the full service includes "seats and floors", but I don't think it would have hurt to go the extra mile and vacuum up the nasty critter. Long story short, I guess when it's busy, the quality diminishes. I think I would come to this Autobell again for a quick exterior wash, but might look elsewhere for exterior and interior cleaning. read more

Used to be a good place get a car wash, kids that work there don't care. I asked specifically for rims to cleaned extra and the kid puts tire shine on without cleaning rims, missed back glass, didn't scrub bugs any. I paid 20+ dollars for exterior special and didn't get a special nothing. Just took my van to be cleaned. I just wanted it vacuumed well, interior wiped down, and an exterior wash. The employees were kind. But they missed an entire area of vacuuming. I have a smal trash bag in the front, and it wasn't even lifted up to be vacuumed and wiped. Come on guys!! read more

Used to be my favorite location. I have a dog and after the initial 2-3 seconds with the vac as the car is rolling in, they would bring it back around and vac the rest of the hair out. The last couple of times I have gotten the "Managers Special" they have stopped being thorough with the vacuum. I asked my guy if they vacuumed and he said "yeah, our vac doesn't really get pet hair out". Unfortunately I purchased the xmas special for 20% off with two visits so I will have to return one more time. I recommend "Men at work" if you really want a good job. Went to this location and my tire was torn and "ERASED" and they said that their brushes couldn't have done it meanwhile after the car wash I went straight home and a few hours later my tire was completely flat to the ground. Funny how they are trying to say that it must've happened elsewhere. All they had to offer me was free car washes when I don't ever want to step foot in an autobell ever again. They left my car dirty which I had to finish cleaning....big waste of money. Extremely disappointed in the customer service here, went in the wrong way on accident and the employee was more than rude or disrespectful. I asked for help on how to get into the line and saw that there was a small road that lead there but was told I was not allowed to to prevent people from coming in the wrong way, as if I did that on purpose. This was my first time trying to come to this location so I genuinely did not know that this was not the entrance, as the "real" entrance is not marked clearly and is also the entrance to the business next door. After telling me he could not help me get to the line without me completely leaving and having to drive SIX minutes to get back, when there was a clear way for me to get in line in 30 seconds, he told me he did not care if I did not come back because they did not need my service. Will not be returning and will be filing a complaint with the company, as there was a better way for this to be handled, especially since I was clearly confused and needed assistance, not rude customer service. read more

Stopped by Sunday with two of our cars, a sedan and a SUV and paid roughly $50 plus $10 in tips for two cars. The crew was friendly enough and hustled, but maybe a bit too much. While the outside was nice and clean, the inside of both of our cars looked like they had barely gotten vacuumed, much less wiped with any attention to detail. We have 3 dogs and while I don't expect the cars to be spotless, the back of my SUV and the trunk of our sedan weren't even touched. I spent another 10 minutes once I got home wiping out my console, removing minor trash (wrappers, receipts, etc.) in the various drawers and spaces, all which would have been gone had a vacuum come within eve shouting distance. If you need a quick clean to the outside of your car, it seems like they'll do a decent enough job. But save your money on any of the services that advertise cleaning anything in your car. My better half also noticed a tear on her backseat that she's fairly sure wasn't there before the cleaning. I can't conclusively say that this happened during this cleaning trip, but it just added an additional "let's not do that again" to a disappointing carwash trip. read more

Went to location and my new tire was trashed from the track at autobell. Went back to the location and they said it NORMALLY doesn't happen on the rear tire so I take this as it normally happens on the front tires but just sometimes on the back.I called to do a claim and the same manager that told me the info above denied my claim and now I'm out $220 on a new tire. I should have never went here because even if the tire wasn't damaged the car still was dirty and the recycled water they use smells like sewage. You're better off letting rain clean your car. Heads up Garner there is an awesome place opening up called Men at work car care and it's right across the road. I'll take my business there. read more

I've been here ~8 times over a couple of years and typically get the double poly process or the manager's special for about $20-$25. This includes the works for exterior (except tire gloss) and vacuuming interior seats and carpet/mats; wiping consoles, dash, and door panels; and cleaning the interior windows. Overall, this is typically done well by a hard-working staff. Generally my only knocks are that I regularly have to remind them to clean my trunk and fully clean my windshield (they often just do a couple of circles with their rag - this is very evident under certain lighting conditions). Just make sure to look over your car before driving off and let someone know if they missed something - they're always happy to fix it for you. read more

I go there often but ONLY spend $6.00 on the drive through, go home, and do the rest myself. It gets really pricy after the $6 wash, then... they rush so much your car is left with water spots, a quick wipe down that is anything but thorough for the money you spend, hardly a descent job of vacuuming.... it's nowhere near worth the cost of anything more than the $6 wash. Then, you leave a tip! It gets way to pricy for the quality you would expect. If you are able, ride through and do the rest yourself to have it done the right way. This place use to be great but has it ever changed. You can expect to get about half the service that you pay for. read more

I like Autobell and they are typically a consistent company. The Garner location has been my favorite for the last 3 years. They staff hustles, and I rarely have to ask them to correct something when the vehicle is ready for delivery. I have to say that lately, this location has seen a slight dip in quality, but maybe that is due to the economy picking up and making it harder to find good staff who are willing to wash cars in the hot sun or freezing cold day in and day out. I'll still give them more chances to get it right, and I hope that this is a temporary change. Overall, a great company and location. I recommend the Full Svc wash, add Tire Shine, add Rain-X front windshield! 5/29/11 Went back today w/ my car and they were REALLY busy. I noticed two customers who were not happy with their service, but to his credit, the manager seemed to be handling it well and it looked like the issues were resolved in the end. I continue to notice a general decline in service here. It's the little things - since it takes a while after the car comes off the wash line to finish it up, I ended up w/ some spots inside the windows after washing. I should not have to deal with this since this is such a basic part of the overall wash experience! Also, this location usually does a good job getting any remaining brake dust off the rims (it's one reason why I go there instead of Bunky's), but today, they were a bit off. I pointed it out, they worked on it some more, but in the end it still was not the quality job that I have grown accustomed to at this location. I think some of it has to do with not enough guys working today to manage the load. It's a holiday weekend, sunny, nice, hot. Did they not think they would be busy? I'll let the 4-stars stand - for now. If this keeps up, I will reduce this location to a 3 and start looking elsewhere. read more

All I wanted was the interior of my car cleaned (particularly because it was raining) the cheapest price I could get was $26.99 with the Armor All. The first time I checked out my car, they missed a lot of the vaccuming. The second time they missed the side pannels. I spoke to another woman waiting for her car and she said she was waiting for them to re-vaccume as well. Autobell needs an Interior only option, especially in parts of the country where it rains all the time, and they need to do their job. $26.99 + tip is a ripoff for a botched vaccume job. read more

I just left here and I am very disappointed. I paid for the 28.99 interior and exterior wash. My back seat was not vacuumed, the seats had dusty foot prints (from my dog) that would have taken no effort at all to wipe off, yet they weren't. My middle console was left completely untouched. My trunk was not touched even though I was assured they would vacuum it. My weather tech mats were BARELY vacuumed. My 3 year old niece does a better job and they didn't even vacuum under the mats. the front of my car looked like it hadn't even gone through a car wash and there's a large paint chip on the roof of my car from I'm guessing the car wash itself. I have photos of all of these things and plan on posting them to google reviews as well. read more

I went there with a coupon I received in a bygo special they had going on. The first time I went they did a really good job. The second time I went and used the coupon was horrible. They didn't do a good job vacuuming my car. When I went to get in my car it was still dirty on the inside so they vacuumed it again. And I complained about that aspect. And also they didn't give me the scent in my car that I paid for which was also very disappointing and part of my window was still dirty also I just won't be visiting them again being I paid 40.00 I can go somewhere cheaper and get better treatment. This place is terrible. Their equipment scratched my bmw in multiple places and on top of that there was still bird shit on my hood. 6 large gashes ruining my paint in several spots. I called them was contacted by a scum bag manager who told me I had to drive it there so he could run an investigation. Thing was I was getting it towed to my dealership already. I have a Dodge Ram that is babied. It is kept in a private driveway on a separate concrete pad and under a Budge truck cover. When I do drive it, the mirrors are always pulled in after it is parked. After my last visit to Autobell, I went home and covered my truck which is when I noticed deep vertical scratches on my passenger mirror. Embedded in the scratches were a distinctive blue color, the same color of the Autobell wash components. I am a long time customer and never had any issues before but management denied my claim. I have given away my remaining gift cards and found another car wash. I wish I had read the earlier reviews. I only wish I could post pictures of my truck. read more

They got one star because I couldn't give them zero stars. There is nothing I can say remotely good about this place. They did such a bad job on my car that I eventually left, after several attempts to get them to clean this and clean that, that they missed very mad to say the least. I will never go back there again because if you get anything other than a drive through you are being ripped off.
