12 Nov 2023 - I called in to ensure the part I needed was available. Without me asking the staff he offered to eyeball the item to ensure the stock was available. When I arrived; a lady was extremely courteous and immediately got me the part. She further added some cost-saving techniques that I could use on the item to ensure longevity. I went to check out the item and another sales lady offered to assist me. I then asked the first lady about fuses. She walked me over to the section and picked up the item, which I also purchased. I highly recommend this location for exemplary customer service. I only wish I could remember all their names. You guys are awesome. read more

My wife purchased windshield wipers at an Auto Zone in San Jose on 5566 Cottle Road. The guy working there gladly offered to install them. As we were driving on our way back home, in Vallejo, one of the wipers went flying off as we were using them. We stopped at the Auto Zone on 1440 West Texas St. in Fairfield and after showing our receipt for the wipers and explaining to the employee, Hanna, what happened and that we wanted a refund, Hanna rudely said we would have to pay for another set and that they couldn't install them. Since she was being a condescending bitch we left to O'Reilly auto parts where they were very professional and understanding. (See their review). read more

I was having a hard day, when my add a quart of oil light came on. It was pouring down raining but I had to handle this. Went to this store, the young man that helped me was awesome. He went out in the rain and put the oil in my car. Even apologized for having to charge me for a funnel. Said if it was my mom I'd want the to help her and not have her in the rain. read more

The non-response I received at Auto Zone this week 1/ 6/2020 has caused a breakdown in my trust for this company. This store opened just a few months ago and I had always shopped at Kragen/ now O'Reiles but this store was close by so I shopped as my truck had a dead battery. They had an offer to pay $20 after you buy five items of $20 or more. I had 3 purchases of $20 over the last five months. Then I needed a battery and got a text that offered a $25 off on any purchase over $100. That sounded good so I went and showed my phone text with the $25 discount to the clerk and confirmed my fourth purchase also to the clerk. He said both would be added to my email account. I installed the new battery @$170.00 but then tested the voltage on the alternator and found it to be overcharging at 15.9 volts that is too much and was the cause of my battery dying. I returned to buy an alternator I checked my Auto Zone acct but my last four purchases were no longer listed on my page? I asked him to check but he couldn't understand how so he called the manager to call the HQ to enquire. The person on the phone told me the last three $20 rewards did not show up and the battery I bought had not been inputted to my rewards acct as the clerk the week earlier did not input it properly. He would not correct the mistake that the last clerk made and told me I would need to remove the new battery (requiring removal of a fender brace and the radiator hose) return it to the store then repurchase it again to get my $25 reward!!! Needless to say, I was outraged over the incompetence of the clerk and the missing three earlier $20 rewards. I am NEVER shopping at Auto Zone again and will advise you and others to beware of their deceptive business practices. Great quality at a great price is hard to find. But great customer service is even harder. The other day I had some car issues and stopped by the AutoZone on w Texas. It had been some time since visiting there so many of the faces were new. I was pleasantly impressed by the way the staff worked together to help deal with my complex issue. And the fact that the store manager Jordan was available for his staff in the midst of running around the store was awesome. Several employees helped me that day but 2 stand out. Khalil A. And Jennifer. Their professional yet down to earth approach made me feel comfortable while in the process of getting ready for a large expense. They explained parts, function and options to me, assuring me they weren't after my money. While serving me they managed to greet every customer help their staff and and phones with out missing a step. I didn't purchase anything that day but they treated me as if I ran the world. After having a terrible experience at this location, I was hesitant to revisit this location but my car was barely driving and I had no choice. A young man named David greeted me. He was very friendly and professional and happy to help. He was also very knowledgeable and explained to me what was going on with my battery. He went the extra mile and made sure that I got everything that I needed. He was very genuine and didn't give me that "up sell" feel. The team at this store works really well together, have patience and go the extra mile to help you figure out issues that come up. For example, Shasee, I believe is her name, exemplified these qualities while helping a lady with a toddler identity a radiator while the customer tried her best to feed her details her husband sent her with over the phone. She got that customer and two others squared away almost simultaneously! I don't mind waiting in line when I see professionals work like this, truly refreshing! read more

worst autozone i have ever been to. no one greets you when you walk into the store. three workers on the floor. one w. a customer. no hello. no nothing... stood in line waiting to be acknowledged by someone. the customer noticed me first and asked the man that was helping him if he wanted to help me first. when the autozone guy finally said something to me. i asked him if my order was ready. my brakes and rotor should have been put to the side. he looked at me weird. i said i worked w. david earlier and as told my items would be put to the side. well danny came to the front. called david. and well... my order wasn't ready as promised. and my trip that should have been quick ended w. me leaving upset and empty handed. thought i'd save some money by going to autozone down the street. learned today that i should have used my gas and went to vallejo. crazy how vallejo would be the better option. at least there you're greeted. not waiting around for no reason. and when they set an expectation they keep it. read more
