Now the truck is in worse shape than when I dropped it off. I'm furious because they had done great work in the past--that's why I decided to take it there and trusted them blindly; I left it with them based on my previous good experiences. They charged me $1,976. It was a huge amount, but I didn't mind paying it because I was almost 100% sure the truck would be in perfect condition. Now the truck won't even start; the service is absolute garbage. I called in frustration to ask what was going on--explaining that my truck wouldn't start and I was stranded on the highway shoulder--and the moron in the office played the victim, saying, "If you're angry, I can be angry too." I will never recommend them again, because both the service and the work are total shit. Me cobraron 1.976 dólares. I'll be making a video for my Facebook and TikTok channels--which have millions of views--and confronting them in the coming days. You can find my TikTok page under the name Martyn Ramirez if you want to watch the video where I confront them.

Honesty Is Hard to Find--Which Makes It Worth Recognizing…read more I retired to Henderson, Nevada, in 2010. I love the weather, the active lifestyle in my 55+ community, and the fact that Las Vegas is only about 30 minutes away, offering countless restaurants, entertainment, and services. Unfortunately, living here has also taught me another lesson: the old saying "Buyer Beware" is more relevant than ever. Over the years, I have found that many businesses--whether in medical care, auto repair, legal services, home repair, or other industries--either overcharge for their services or fail to deliver what they promise. As consumers, we often have little choice but to trust the professionals we hire, making honesty and integrity more important than ever. To me, a truly exceptional business is one that takes the time to explain what is needed, treats customers with respect, performs quality work, and charges a fair price. In other words, it follows the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would want to be treated. Imagine how much better our communities would be if every business operated that way. While companies like this seem increasingly rare, I was fortunate enough to find one recently. I took my 2022 vehicle--with only 22,000 miles--to an auto repair shop that had serviced it several times before. I requested nothing more than a routine oil change. About an hour after leaving the car, I received a phone call informing me that they had discovered major front-end damage. I was told the vehicle was unsafe to drive and that the repairs would cost between $1,800 and $1,900. The diagnosis didn't make sense. My car had never shown any symptoms of front-end problems, so I decided to seek a second opinion. I brought the vehicle to Sonny's Auto Repair at 1000 Stephanie Place, Henderson, NV 89014. From the moment I called, I noticed a difference. The receptionist greeted me warmly, listened carefully to my concerns, and assured me they would be happy to inspect the vehicle. After spending 30 years in customer service, I know how much first impressions matter, and this one was outstanding. I dropped off the car and was told there would be an $85 inspection fee. Later that day, I returned expecting to hear the worst. Instead, I received some of the best news I could have hoped for. The technician--and even the owner, Chris--carefully inspected the vehicle and found none of the damage described by the first repair shop. In fact, the only problem they discovered was that the oil filter installed during the previous oil change had been improperly fitted and was leaking oil. They corrected the problem immediately. Then came the biggest surprise of all. When I asked what I owed, I was told there would be no charge. Chris explained that the repair required very little time and that he could tell how distressed I had been over the prospect of an unnecessary and expensive repair. Think about that for a moment. How often do you encounter a business that could have charged you for an inspection, recommended unnecessary repairs, or simply taken advantage of the situation--but instead chose honesty, integrity, and compassion? Those qualities deserve to be recognized. Because of this experience, Sonny's Auto Repair has earned my trust and my future business. More importantly, they restored a little of my faith that ethical businesses still exist. In today's world, honesty and integrity are qualities worth celebrating. If more businesses--and perhaps even more institutions--followed the example set by Sonny's Auto Repair, our communities would be stronger, trust would be easier to earn, and life would be better for everyone.

Not only did they diagnose and fix the transmission problem, but they also discovered other issues I had no idea about. They took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me so I understood exactly what was going on with my truck. What really stood out was their communication. They kept me updated the entire time--whether it was parts being ordered, delays in delivery, or progress on the repairs. I was never left wondering what was happening, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. They even provided pictures showing the damaged parts side by side with the new ones, which really showed their transparency and attention to detail. On top of that, they made sure to test drive the truck to confirm everything was running smoothly before handing it back to me. They also stepped in and corrected a mistake made by my warranty parts vendor, which could have easily turned into a much bigger headache. That level of honesty and dedication is hard to find. Overall, Sonny's Auto Repair is professional, thorough, and truly cares about their customers. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality work, and clear communication.

I've dealt with a lot of shady mechanics to the point where I question everything and have a hard time trusting them I hade my front brakes done and a few days later I was driving to work and my whole front started to shake and my steering wheel was going crazy. I called Craig immediately and he had me come in the next day. He fixed it so fast I thought there was no way so I questioned it. And he was very cool about it and just said I'm a professional. And he's right he is he's very professional. Apparently the rotor was just a bad rotor from the factory. he swapped that out and I've had no issues with my brakes. I was on a month-long road trip through California. Plenty of hills, plenty of highways, lots of breaking.. and no issues. I highly highly recommend professional break service and Craig. Price was grea for, brand new rotors brake pads and a brake fluid flush.. and the work was exceptional. He's the only person I've let work on my car besides the dealer and I'd actually rather go to Craig than back to the dealer..

Craig the manager was awesome, he didn't try to BS me as a lot of mechanics will try to do when a female walks through the door. He was very welcoming, not pushy at all, straight to the point! He also has a very down to earth personality. He said the timeframe would be a couple of hours. It sure didn't seem that way because Craig kept me entertained by conversation all at the same time taking care of his own responsibilities work related. The price to replace my rotors & pads were very reasonable. I immediately authorized the work. I know the basics about my car and when I take it in I'm almost always on point. I don't trust mechanics these days so I'm very loyal when I find good service and I'm also a good word of mouth. I would highly recommend Professional Brake Service based on the awesome service that I received. They have earned my business! Also, I don't take the time to write reviews unless it's worthy of my time or if it's detrimental to warn others!
