Unless you know your way around a car as a mechanic, most people worry about getting taken for a ride as it pertains to a mechanic over-charging you for services you don't need. Took my car to a different mechanic who essentially told me both struts were shot as well as the control arms and bushings. They quoted an astronomical amount to get it fixed. My brother-in-law told me I needed to go to Auto Worx for a 2nd opinion. Brought it to Dennis here at Auto Worx. He tells me my struts, shocks and bushings are fine, but that I may want to rotate the rotors and get new pads. The cost was way lower obviously. Went here after Quick Lane, Rancho Cucamonga told me I needed to replace control arms after getting new tires. After speaking with Dennis, who said the problem was not control arms, but balancing; and to find somewhere that did dynamic wheel balancing. Found Magnolia Wheel Allignment in Riverside who do On the vehicle wheel balancing. Corrected the problem with minimal cost. Came here after checking yelp. I wasn't disappointed. This place is not fancy and somewhat off the boulevard but they are totally professional. My pops and I dropped off my car after I called and they quoted me a price for an alignment. We were chatting and off went my car for a drive. We were still chatting and my car came back. I was pleased because I had read other reviews that said this is what they do. We left for lunch and they called 45 min later that my alignment was done. He told me I needed a camber due to my tires being something I don't remember as I don't plan on keeping my car for another 4 years but I appreciated that he wasn't pushy or over aggressive that my car needed this. It was more advice for the long run. He also told me if I ran I to a curb or felt something weird to come back and they would check it free of charge. First, I had a near accident when I had to slam on my brakes (96 Tercel) and blew out a steel line that was rubbing against my intake (didn't realize). So at his closing time Dennis agreed to wait for me so I can drop my car off. He replaced the line (rerouting and securing) and had my car good to go in one day. Since then he has changed the brakes on my 2002 Diamanté, 2001 Accord, and my 2006 Armada. One more thing to add, one of my guys at work had a Camry that he needed some serious work needed. Neither Dennis or myself have ever seen the disc brakes worned down to the point where there were no longer any disc brakes at all in the caliper pressing against the disc on two of the wheels. Wow! Overpriced with a "can't tell me sh*t" attitude. Maybe their great on old cars but as for my wife's 2010 Challenger they caused more issues then fixed and charged me 1/3 more then anywhere else to do it. Brought my car in for springs, struts, alignment and to go through and make sure everything was right. Did a motor swap and the shop before didn't tighten the lock nuts on my adjustable suspension so wanted it all gone over. Guy was mouthy from the start and bitched about the job the whole time. My front ball joints we're missing a lock plate (found out later), really obvious but they didn't say anything and put it back together anyway. Also missed my rear craddke bushings went bad even after bringing it back to them. This is a huge issue and made the car unsafe to drive, they said it was all good though. I call back and kind of question their knowledge since these basic and obvious issues were missed to which I was hung up on. My advice, find another shop and save yourself the agony. read more

Pull up and you're like uh oh this place ain't gonna be legit cause it looks like backyard shop. Just got a leveling kit installed so needed quick alignment. These guys are the best. Brought my 2018 lifted 4runner in to make an appt to install a lean spacer over the rear coil and a old school front end alignment. I explained my situation and they took my 4runner in on the spot. I didn't expect it but they did it. Don jumped on the job, listened to my concerns and explained what they would do. The total job with alignment took about an hour. But we waited longer than that for the repaving crew on Foothill to move on from the driveway. The price was more than fair and no up sell here. I came to this shop to simply fix my alignment on my 2017 honda accord and I left with my car driving worse then how I brought it. I took it to another shop (horizon) in Azusa and they told me that they did not tighten up the tie rod end bolts and that was causing all the noise when I would make any turns and go up driveways. I will never go to this shop again and I do not recommend anyone to go here! They don't have a good attitude and over priced me for my alignment and charged me 20$ extra just to rotate my tires and told me I needed to because "my tire was bad" and it would make not pull so much to the right. come to find out nothing is wrong with my tires either read more

Stopped by today for an alignment on my truck. Dennis and his team does it the old school way without the computerize machine and they get the alignment correct by manual measurements and with their years of experience. Since Sal's Auto doesn't do alignments, he sent me to this shop and I'm glad he did. They took care of my alignment issue in about 15 minutes. They took the time to drive the car before and after to make sure of things. While they were under the car, they noticed that the oil filter was loose and Dennis tightened it for me then told me about it. When I got home (sure enough) it was a quart low. I like these guys and more importantly, I trust them. Not only that, they charged me $60 when others wanted between $75 - $90. If you're in the IE, these are the guys for alignment - period. About the only negative I can mention is that there's no air conditioned waiting area. read more
