I have been here several times and had good, honest, friendly service. The only reason I didn't rate 4 stars or higher is because the last time I visited I went for a very specific problem and--while they fixed it--without me asking they came back and recommended what would be thousands of dollars of repairs. Worse still, when I asked for advice about what the potential risk was if I don't get a particular item fixed at that time (because I'm on a tight budget and don't have the money to deal with non-essential repairs) they wouldn't give me an answer. My car went in for tires. They damaged the front end and my dash controls. The manager Mike is a joke. He thinks he is helping me by telling me its not his fault. Total Damage was 3500.00 . We have been using them for many years. I thought a customer would be worth more. It has taken 2 months to get any response from them. Keeps claiming the owner won't do anything. Unless you want damage on your car, stay away. They love to test drive the cars and claim they have not moved it. I guess they don't know what an Odometer is for. A group of non professionals. Bought a set of tires for my Prius and they had them on the car in one of the fastest times I have ever experienced in 50 years of driving. A month later bought the same set of tires for my wife's Prius and they did the same thing... installed them fast and, without appointment, rotated the tires on my car as it was due. Have been taking both cars for the lifetime tire rotation and they have been great on turnaround. Today, I called to bring the car in for tire rotation and because of the virus things were a bit different....but....true to form....they got the car in at the time they asked us to come and ...ba-da-boom.... they were done and my wife was on her way. Hard to believe that an auto repair place deserves five stars, but these guys are the real deal. We've been coming to them for fifteen years after trying a couple of small, independent shops in town and found them disconcertingly dishonest. These guys are a Goodyear dealer and as honest as I have ever found. They've never pushed anything on me and only recommend and suggest preventive repairs as appropriate. For instance, I just bought a used Grand Marquis which I knew needed brakes, took it to these guys and they did the brake job for half of the dealer quote. While they had it they also did a thorough inspection and gave me an estimate of future repairs - one being a new serpentine belt, but they told me it would get me through another 25,000 miles and to hold off for a while. Guys like these are hard to find and should be highly recommended - which I am gladly doing. You need repairs? Take your vehicle to these guys. read more

I never liked this place. They always over charged me, and always tried to reschedule the appaointment after doing half the job. First two times they did half the job and told me to come back because they had other people waiting. They did the same thing with couple of my family members too. Anyone from my family havent been there for over a year or so because of that reason. read more

Booked an appt online and got a quote with install. When I arrived I was told there was an additional $6.50 per tire for tpms install. That's my kind of luck actually. Checked online and confirmed the install price included the tpms install and the store honored the deal. The tires were put on in about 40 min. Been here a few times and always had a good experience. Low tire pressure warning...found a screw in it. I googled "goodyear" near Woodstock and found Auto Tech Centers. I walked in around 8:00AM with no appointment. I was immediately helped at the front desk by a young lady who pretty much worked the desk the whole time i was there so this isn't one of those places where you walk in and talk to yourself for 20 minutes because everyone is working on cars. Super clean waiting room, TV and comfortable chairs. There are a couple of places to eat in the same strip mall and a nail place for things to do if you have to wait. About 45 minutes later my tire was plugged and patched for around $30 which was great because i expected to pay $200 for a new tire. read more

I had my vehicle serviced at the Woodstock location last year 8/15/16 the driver side window motor. This as with most parts and labor they give and offer you a 2 yr 24,000 mi warranty . Granted I have been a loyal customer here for 4 years now. Several hundred dollars Ive spent here in repairs. I had experienced an issue a few days back with the same drivers side window motor. I called the shop and made an appointment. I came to the shop on 10/5/16 (one year later and a few months still under the warranty period) I explained the problem to them. They agreed and disagreed on this with me . They agreed this failed under warranty but now wants to sell me a window regulator at $149 extra. So then my bill goes up to $149 for a part that is not needed . I left that day with our fixing this motor and regulator . On 10/5/16 I also went to another repair shop after I left that was 10 minutes up the street to verify this issue. They diagnosed the window problem and come to find out I only needed the motor in the first place. I paid this new shop. Which should have been done at Auto Tech. I called a customer service number and explained that Auto Tech wanted to up sell me a part I did not need. Refusing to fix my window motor car under warranty on that day. I Told customer service I went to a totally different shop that said I only needed a motor. And I agreed to have that shop repair it. I have all receipts . To say the least They were extremely interested in my story. I retrieved the core of the (motor) from shop #2 and brought it back to Auto Tech they now agreed to pay me back . After all that They still told me I Needed a regulator !! I received my money back . Plus core charges. They received the core to warranty out. Moral of my story: I'm a blogger, I'm a service advisor, I'm a woman who knows her shit. Don't fuck with me. A lot of people read reviews and mine are Epic. You can't sell me extra shit I don't need and verified by a competitor shop. Shop # 2 could of told me I needed both but they did not. Do your homework people. I'll never go to any Auto Tech centers again . If you do be prepared to get screwed ! read more

I took my BMW 528i to Auto Tech Center to look at options for snow tires as the summer tires were horrible in even a dusting of snow. This was my first winter with the car, what a surprise. I've had other cars serviced there,and they've always been honest and fair in their estimates and pricing, but this was my first tire purchase. Chris recommended Hankook I*cept tires and a set of Ultra alpine wheels. The wheels look great, and have a special coating to resist the harsh crap used on the roads around here, but the tire recommendation was spot on! They're smooth, quiet, and offer fantastic traction in any snow conditions! It was so nice to have someone with extensive knowledge of tires to help in making the right choice. I was in Woodstock, on a Saturday. Home is about 45 miles away. My car broke down and i pulled in there asking them if they'd have time to take a look at the car and perhaps fix it. It was a simple brake issue i've had before. It should have taken them 1 hour to fix. It was 10:30am and they close at 5pm. They told me they would look at it in about 30 minutes. One and a half hour later, I called them and asked if they had looked at it. They had not. I figured they'd get to it soon. By 4:30pm my car was still sitting in the parking lot and i found myself wondering if i'd have to find a hotel room in town and spend the weekend there. I have no problem with a business being busy. But don't tell me you'll look at my car in 30 minutes and not get to it all day. If they were too busy to look at it, they should have told me and I would have gone down the street to another shop. But they flat out lied to me. I ended up driving my car back home, slowly and probably illegally, that night. read more

I used to bring my Sonic RS here for my winter wheel swap (they would take off my summer set and swap out for winter set). Always received great service. Yesterday, after trying to use a gas station air pump and losing more air than filling, I gave up and stopped here. They had me pull my Equinox right around and filled all my tires for me. It was negative temps and they did it outside the bay. I am so grateful to the them!! read more

I have been going to Auto Tech for more than six years and am very happy with the service I have received. I trust they will figure out why my Mazda is making a funny noise or recommend safe tires. They even fill my tires up for free when my automatic tire pressure gauge goes off when the weather changes. These are good guys. read more

My 84 year old mom took her car into the Woodstock Goodyear Auto Tech place on 47 for rear tires and an oil change. When she picked the car up, she found they had taught it a new trick. Everytime the car is put into reverse, the trunk opens! WTF? They had screwed with the wires in the trunk. She called them and is told to bring it in and they'll fix it no charge (well, duh). She brings it in and they give her a bill for 2 hours of labor, over $100! I said no. The mechanic starts arguing and looking like he's going to punch me. The manager tells him to back off, he takes a step back and has wide open "crazy eyes". (keep in mind, this is supposed to be a business). Then the manager says fine, I'll take the charge off but take your business elsewhere. As if she needed to tell me not to get screwed there again. read more
