Two weeks ago, I attended the 4WP event at the Ontario Convention Center and made a significant purchase from your sales representative. I was convinced that they were the experts and spent $10,500 on the installation. Despite being promised that someone would contact me in a few days to schedule the installation at the Gardena store, I was not contacted until two weeks later, on the original order date. When I finally called the store, I was scheduled for installation. I brought my truck to the Gardena store and left it overnight, but no one contacted me for an update, and the store was already closed. I went onsite and spoke to an employee, requesting more time to complete the installation. Around 7 pm, I received a phone call informing me that my truck was ready. However, I was unable to inspect the work due to the late hour and darkness. I even gave the technician a $100 tip for their work. Upon returning home the next morning, I discovered that both of my rear fox suspension components were damaged. I immediately reported the issue to the manager, who apologized and offered to fix it. He arranged for a replacement and even called me to inform me that the wheels (which should have been included in the original order) were ready. I am unsure why they were not included. The manager assured me that Friday would be the day for the installation, but no one called me again. This is a second instance of poor customer service. Additionally, my skid plate was not reinstalled on my truck because the screws were too short. I had informed them from the beginning of the installation that they were the experts and should take the initiative to fix the issue. I expected them to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Why did they not sell me the long bolts necessary to fix the problem? What is a few dollars for long bolts when I have already spent $10,500? I am deeply dissatisfied with the recent experience I had with your company. The sales representative failed to fulfill my order for method ring wheels, resulting in poor installation and a lack of communication regarding the installation and follow-up orders. I wasted my time visiting your store multiple times, which could have been avoided if the issue had been resolved promptly. I also noticed that I do not have an upgraded spare tire wheel and tire that was supposed to be part of the package deal when I bought the sets during Ontario convention 4WP event. I was very upset and felt being mislead of your marketing sales and installation. I demand a partial refund for the damage to my suspension or you will remove all the parts you installed and receive a full refund. I expect a resolution to this matter promptly. He was very transparent compared to what you get at an official dealership. He finished the work within an hour and quoted me at a fair and reasonable price compared to the Subaru dealership. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

One of the worst experiences I've had buying auto parts. The part arrived damaged. I reported it the same day with photos and asked for a replacement, not a refund. Instead of handling it professionally, they kept delaying everything and making the whole process more complicated than it needed to be. They arranged the FedEx pickup themselves. I personally handed the package directly to the courier they scheduled. After that, instead of opening a proper investigation, they started accusing me of fraud. They even wrote that I was committing "straight and clear fraud". I'm attaching screenshots so people can see exactly how they communicate with customers when something goes wrong. Very unprofessional communication. Constant delays. Zero accountability. I had to buy the same part again from another seller just to move forward with my repair. hi Jon here, just wanted to point out that a little bit of The Shipping info, it was a bit a slack in within a day you could have ship my AEM cold air intake that same day I purchased it on July 18 th and I wouldn't of had to call you guys or emailed which in the emailing part you guys don't answer so that's another flaw I had but what saved you guys from getting a 4 Star is that my air intake came with all the necessary hardware to install was opened or pre-opened everything was sealed the pipe was undamaged not a scratch on the pipe so that's what I got you guys 100% positive feedback with five star guys were generous and courteous or the phone solved all my issues I had thank you to you guys at autotalent I recommend you guys heck yeah read more

Aftermarket Differential Bushing Upgrade - Highly Recommend Studio RSR…read more During my last oil change, the dealership let me know my differential bushings needed to be replaced. Rather than install another set of OEM bushings with a reputation for a relatively short lifespan, I decided to upgrade to an aftermarket solution and add the optional dual rear differential mounting plate. As many BMW owners know, BMW engineered the differential with provisions for **two rear bushings**, but from the factory only one is utilized. Early cars are especially prone to failure because the original bushings are hydraulic (fluid-filled), and even cars driven exclusively on the street have been known to need replacement in as little as 30,000 miles. Although Studio RSR is over an hour from my house, I called Robert, the owner, to discuss my options. He took the time to explain the pros and cons of the different setups and recommended the **Dual-Mount Differential Plate with ECS Poly Differential Bushings**. After the conversation, I felt confident it was the right choice. I had the parts shipped directly to Studio RSR, and they completed the installation while I waited. The entire experience was excellent. Their workmanship was top-notch, they communicated everything clearly, and it was obvious they know these cars inside and out. If you're in Southern California and need BMW performance or maintenance work, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Studio RSR. The shop has a no-frills atmosphere, but don't let that fool you--the team is knowledgeable, honest, and their pricing is very reasonable. In an industry where finding a trustworthy BMW specialist can be difficult, these guys have earned my confidence. In fact, they previously helped save my car after another mechanic had made a serious mistake. They're also well known for their crank hub upgrades, so if that's on your list, they're definitely worth talking to. For anyone interested, I purchased the bushings through Turner Motorsport, but the installation could be done by any qualified BMW performance shop if Studio RSR isn't local to you.

Full job done in just 5 hours, same day turnaround is no joke. Easily worth the 3 hour drive, especially for the price. I bought the car stock 3 years ago at 110k miles from a close friend, who got it from the original owner. He mentioned the original owner claims that the rod bearings had already been done, but there were no receipts to prove it. Decided to get it done for peace of mind down the road (better late than never). Now at 131k miles, Robert and the team said they hadn't really seen wear like mine. The bearings had unusual divots in multiple areas, not your typical wear pattern. Thankfully, I got ahead of it and there was no damage to the crankshaft. Based on what they saw, they believe the bearings may have been aftermarket and possibly installed improperly.

In the end, I went to a local tuning shop that installed it for half the price and had me in and out right away. Overall, there were no apologies, no accountability, and no effort to make things right. Bulletproof Automotive seems to prioritize big-name or SEMA clients over regular enthusiasts. I learned my lesson; I won't be doing business with them again.
