This shop has always given me a fair price, and the quality of their work is top-notch. I only had the parts of my car that were damaged by the sun and badly faded and peeling repainted, but you would never know it wasn't the entire car. The color match is flawless, and it looks like the entire vehicle was freshly painted. What really sets this shop apart is that it's family-owned, and they genuinely care about every customer who walks through their doors. They take pride in their work, treat people with honesty and respect, and make sure you're happy with the results. That's why I keep coming back again and again. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price. read more

So back in 2023 I got into a collision in my project 95 Honda Del Sol. At the time I didn't know where to take it or what to do with it. There was frame, bumper, hood and fender damage. It was a lost cause. I had it just sitting, it wasnt til 2025 when I was referred to Auto Refousing by JDM California. I took my Del Sol to Auto Refocusing and spoke to a Sebastian (great customer service from this guy) and he had my quote within 20-30min. He explained the game plan and told me they will get my Sol back to normal and they sure did! The car looked like it came out the dealership back in 95. They sanded her down to her bare bones, removed all damage/bumps, pulled and realigned to frame and got her looking brand new. I was beyond satisfied with the outcome. The attention to detail from this team at Auto Refocusing is insane. From fender alignment, to seals, to repainted faded trim, to the paint.. it just came out superb. The pictures serve no justice to the actual outcome. Huge thanks to Sebastian for making the whole process seamless, thanks to the team that brought the dream back to life and thanks to Gloria for making it happen! Once again thanks guys! Recommend this place to anyone in need of the services they provide. read more

I took my truck in for paint work due to oxidation on black paint. They were super friendly, did great work at a reasonable price. There quality and affordability can not be matched. Paint match was perfect. I will be back for the remaining repairs on my truck. read more

My car has low mileage but was in need of some serious TLC after a severe case of oxidized paint in several places and a hole in the bumper that other shops told would require being replaced. I was referred to Auto Refocusing by a friend and it was the best decision I made to trust my car to them. I had the great fortune to work with Gloria - kind, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Even when we encountered a small glitch, she quickly followed up with options to resolve the situation. That is what I call a customer focused business! And my car? Well, it looks brand new! In fact, my family member who originally owned the car says it looks better than when he first bought it. The quality of the work performed at Auto Refocusing is clearly next level. Along with the amazing quality of their work, they have honest, fair prices. Good people who do incredible work at a fair price. I highly recommend them. read more

My brand new car got hit my a restaurant's dumpster during high winds. It had an extremely deep dent in the rear quarter panel & needed a new bumper. There was also a small dent in rear passenger door that required a full paint job on that side of my car. Auto Refocusing came highly recommended to me by the dealer where I purchased my car. In dealing thru the restaurant's insurance, I still got estimates from 3 places. Auto Refocusing had the best pricing of the 3 estimates. Even the insurance claims specialist said the entire quarter panel may need to be replaced since the dent was so bad. Gloria at Auto Refocusing was very helpful in helping me understand the pros & cons of repair vs replacement. I decided to get it repaired and they did an amazing job! I was so sad about the damage to my new car but they made it look as if nothing even happened. Gloria was so easy to work with and very accommodating. Highly recommend! read more

I found this place by referral from my auto detail shop, owned by a family member in the same business park, because I needed some scrapes/scratches removed, and also minor bodywork, on my 2020 Lexus SUV prior to detailing. Sebastian was just as courteous, kind and honest with me as the folks at the detail place. He took great care of me and they did a great job on my car at a very fair price! I know because another business had given me a much higher estimate. read more

This is actually long overdue review. I had an accident before thanksgiving and i didnt even wanna look around any body shop because they had good reviews and was recommended by his brother who owns a detailing shop where i had my car previously detailed. Gloria was amazing all through and through, worked with my insurance who was in fact not very easy to deal with. Gloria even dropped me off to my rental because i was put on hold for an hour My car now looks amazing. Gloria , thank you very much for helping me deal with the stress of fixing my car. I would never take my car anywhere else. You guys did an awesome good!! This shop is highly recommended. read more

I had a great experience at Auto Refocusing. Right off the bat, what I appreciated was Gloria and how honest she was. I didn't feel like she was trying to up sell me on anything or that she was ripping me off. She appeared to be genuine and honest. When she gave me an appraisal, she offered options. Multiple ways to fix what I needed, and offered a more cost effective solution as well. I am grateful that she did that, because I was able to see which option would be best for me time wise and financially. I will say that Auto Refocusing prices were very fair. And everything was on schedule as discussed. I also was thankful for Gloria making sure that I received a discounted rate at the rental car place. That was very nice of her! My front end was pretty messed up from hitting a pole (I know embarrassing lol). So I needed a new bumper and fenders. Gloria quoted me and there were no hidden surprises or extra charges. It was very fair and straightforward. And I love the results, my car looks great again! Thank you Gloria and Auto Refocusing!!!! read more

Yelp removed my initial review of this establishment do-in-part because I listed her name in which she complained to Yelp thus I re-posted with the changes to reflect that. She is NOT telling the truth. Their establishment used a glue that completely adhered to the paint and chrome trim. When the chrome trim was removed, the clearcoat came along with it. This was MJ's Autbody's doing. The establishment that removed the trip did not use proper method to remove the trim, but the simple fact remains is that MJ's "Mickey Mouse" installation of the glue was at their hands. Period. Now I tried to come to some sort of resolution with them, but they would not agree to it. I'm over 1.5 hours away, and they wanted me to return my vehicle; leave it there for numerous days; rent a vehicle at my cost; clearly was not going to go through it all over again. Should they have repaired my vehicle correctly the first time, I would not be FOREWARNING you of the poor services. Gloria is absolutely 100% untruthful here. They painted the bumpers and their 'sister-business' "MK Detail" agreed they were. But when I spoke to her over the phone she stated, "they don't even work for us." What a complete sham on her part. Very shameful way to conduct "business" Gloria - shameful. At the end of the day, my sole pupose is to make you aware of their absolutely poor customer service and quality of work. My experience is shared so that YOU don't have to go through a similar issues with this establishment. What Gloria also failed to mention is that she changed my appointment 3 seperate times when I agreed to give them another chance to make it right..saying, "we're swamped" After the 3rd attempt, I simply posted the truth as I know it to be true. There are always two sides to a story. Do your homework, and avoid MJ Autobody deceptive business practices. I'd be happy to email additional photos upon request. Auto refocusing has made the car repaor process as easy and accomadatable as possible. I was recommended to them by ny dealer as anothe individuals truck cover flew off and damaged the back of my car. They walked through the process with me, guided me in the right direction with the other individual stepped in when he wouldn't work with me and helped me with the insurance process. Through out this roller coaster auto refocusing tried to allivate all the stress in any way they could within the process and helped close the gap with unsurance once we had to bring them into the picture. Their work was amazing, everything came out great! They even delievered my car to my work upon completion. Recommend this auto repair place to anyone!! I went here because of my friend's referral, and it was the best decision I made. I have a red mini cooper that needed some body work after a "little accident" I had and they finished the car fast within 4 days even though there was like so many other cars there (I told them I needed my car as soon as possible). And when I first looked at my car, I was really surprised because it looked like a brand new car. They even washed out my wheels and everything and looked very sparkly/shiny. And ask for Marcos ( I think it was either Marcos or Marcus) and/or Gloria, they don't try to rip you off unlike the other body shop I got an estimate on my car (also said it will take 1-2 weeks -______- ). I am quite surprised how there isn't much reviews here. Overall, I am really happy and very much satisfied with my car, it looks brand new and was very professionally done. They really put a lot effort and heart into their work/job. read more

I was referred to this auto shop for my car. After 10 weeks, not only is the work not finished, I have another auto shop fixing their work. I am utterly disappointed. They showed no consideration for my time, took days to call me to update me. And would not do work on my car for several days. Stating they had other cars that needed to be done. And then tried to blame the insurance company for the delays. My insurance company has been very helpful. I would never refer my worst enemy here. read more

About 4 years ago, MJ Auto was recommended to me by a service technician at a BMW dealership. Since that time, I have had my car repaired on four occasions. Three times on the same bumper! Normally one could find something wrong with service or workmanship. To the contrary, with over 50 years driving experience and a few fender benders over that period of time, this body shop is truly exceptional in quality of workmanship and the personal service provided. Outstanding. Highly recommend. Jon D. read more
