A couple weeks ago, a person in SF threw ramen at my car. The next day when I tried to take the car to the wash, the car had a full electrical breakdown; it was an unlucky week. By the time it was repaired, the ramen was deeply encrusted on the car. I initially brought the car to Auto Pride Car Wash hoping that a simple wash would resolve the issue. However, this didn't do the trick. One of the managers, Aurelio, suggested a hand wax and buff for a reasonable price. He was authentic in suggesting solutions that would resolve the issue within my price range. After the initial wax, I was happy with the result, but the manager noticed that some marks were still slightly visible. He insisted on giving it a second go to ensure the car was in tip top shape. I really appreciated the quality of the service I received. I felt that everyone at the car wash was kind and very capable. Highly recommend! I was looking for a full service car wash and came across this on the way home from work. I haven't gone to a full service car wash in a decade (OGs remember the Lozano Thursday $11 specials...). Reviews were good, and there really aren't a lot of options for full service car washes around the area, so decided to check them out. I was cautiously optimistic because the cost of car washes today don't equal quality. Unfortunately, my cautious optimism was warranted. While they did clean my car quick and well, it cost me ~$55 for a car wash (this included a $10 add on to wash the floor mats). They also missed a few spots. Absolutely the worst car wash I ever been to. My car was better off dirty. I should have never brought my car there, they made it worse bringing it there. $45 for BS clean job. The service is $2 service up charged for $45 dollars. It's so bad I had to ask for towel so I can do the job better for them. The workers don't need tips, they need to work. The fat lil Hispanic manager is a liar, they won't clean under the seat he said because they might break the buttons on a car. That is the biggest joke ever! I recently had my car washed both inside and out. My main concern was the driving mats, which were quite dusty after a trip to the beach. To my surprise, this place did an excellent job. The service was incredibly quick, and we were done in less than 15 minutes from the time we entered on a weekday. They have benches and umbrella outside while you wait for the car to be washed. The staff was very pleasant to deal with, and I appreciate that they actually wash the mats, which other places usually just vacuum. I've tried other places, but they always charge extra for washing the mats, but I'm glad that this place includes it in their package. I'll definitely be bringing my car here again. read more

Very disappointed with this car wash. We paid $225 for a full detailing service, but the results were nowhere near what we expected. The interior was still covered in pet hair, several areas were not properly vacuumed, and there were visible stains and smudges left behind. It looked like they did a very basic cleaning instead of the professional detail we paid for. The photos speak for themselves. Bought the 44$ gold car wash. These guys didn't even clean the interior. They just put the car through the automatic wash and vacuumed the carpet (which also they did a horrible job). The car was as dirty as it came and I simply wasted 44$. They didn't even wipe basic things like obvious dirt and footprints. Apparently wiping interiors counts as "detailing" which they are too busy to do anyways. Horrible and will never go again. Just go to a shell car wash. These guys put several deep scratches into the paint on our new car and not just surface swirls, scratches that went deep into the paint and could not be polished out. Avoid this place at all costs if you care about your car's paint. Also, the whole car was still dirty after the wash. Car wash: Overall not thorough with the cleaning. The quality of work does not match the price you are paying. I went in to get the bird poop off my windshield and windows and tell me why I got my car back with the poop stains still there? I brought my 8 foot bed pickup truck in to wash off the playa dust. Although I cover my cabin seats with towels and sheets, there was still a fine dusting of playa on the dash too. My $180 purchased no more than the basic car wash. There was no additional time or attention to detail. This was a little frustrating because I could have just purchased a standard wash and probably received the same service or even better. Twice, when I was told the truck was ready, I had to request that they do a better job at cleaning it. There was still streak marks all along the dash where the dust had not been wiped. Auto pride would not let you just do a quick exterior wash, they force you to pay minimum $33+ tax to wash your car and put stupid tire dressing even though nobody needs that. Left here literally 5 minutes ago and what a disappointment. They vacuumed my car, washed my floor mats, cleaned my windows & ran my car through their machine. My car is still dirty in the inside and outside. They do not clean your dashboard, seats, doors or console. If I knew my car was going to look like this in the end, I would have just gone to the gas station and paid $10 instead of $43.99 for a 5 minute car wash. I was wondering why my car was done so quick. It's funny how they asked me if I wanted a package deal for $80 for as many car washes you want. I decided I was overdue for a car wash when I stumbled upon a spider trickling down my windshield inside as I was driving on the highway. Yikes! For around ~$35, Auto Pride did a great job cleaning up my car (and making it spider web-free)! I drove in on a Saturday afternoon and waited in line for around 25 minutes until my car was serviced. As soon as I got out and paid, I felt like the car took no more than 20 minutes to wash, dry, and clean. My car still had some stains/spots on the inside but one of the guys happily cleaned the areas I pointed out. If I am ever in the area, I will definitely make a pit stop at Auto Pride again. First off, even though I asked for the platinum package I got a hard upsell in the form of "you need a hand wax because these stains won't come off." I don't mind a soft upsell but to push a customer buying an already expensive package but insinuating that it would not do the job is unpleasant. After a $50+ car wash I asked them why my trunk was still left uncleaned. Their answer: "You didn't leave it open". When I asked why didn't anybody tell me to do so, they said there is a sign and now I have to wait in the long line again to get the trunk cleaned. No apologies, nothing. So I went to look for the sign I apparently missed and I took a picture from the best view! It was completely blocked by a table. Apparently there is a sign telling you to do that if you want the trunk taken care of. I've never heard of this before. Nor did I have time to read the signs as I was approached immediately after pulling in and pressured to buy the top package. Looked at it closer when I got home and noticed a lot of spots still on the outside of my car, a scratch on my hood and that they never vacuumed my trunk which had a bunch of cotton balls all over and was a huge reason I came in to get a carwash. Called upset and they said they would redo it. Came back and they took longer this time and actually vacuumed my trunk. It was better with the redo but there was still water spots they missed on my grill and passenger door. Customer service - 0/10 Car wash - 10/10 Based on the recent good reviews, I decided to give this place a try. However, I'm giving this place 3 stars because I had a rude and off-putting experience talking to who seemed like the manager in charge of the car wash. Keep in mind I haven't washed my car in months because I don't drive often nowadays and just needed a quick wash before heading in to my local auto shop for maintenance. So yes, my car was extremely dirty. I drive up and let them know I just wanted the full service wash for $29.99. Then, the man who seemed like the manager at the front immediately told me that my car wouldn't come out clean because of the accumulation of dust and pollen on my car. He proceeded to say "Okay, well good luck." Then what's even the point of going to a hand car wash?? That's just ridiculous to say to any customer. I could tell he was definitely trying to sell me one of the more expensive options, but I know myself from doing car washes on my own and having them hand washed at numerous other places that it's not necessary to always get the more expensive wash. He kept convincing me that I need a wax and a bunch of other things done to keep my exterior paint clean. No thanks. Anyways, my car goes through the wash and I see that it's SO CLEAN. Like squeaky clean, best it's ever been in a while. I see all the workers hand drying my car inside and out, and everything looks really good. I tipped them and drove off happy but at the same time my mood was sour for the entire day because of the bad customer service I experienced here. Second time and last time. First time took the husband's car and I had to clean the windows after leaving because of a haze left on the glass. Second time I took my Mom's car and paid $55 + $10 to have the floor mats shampooed. Heads up, that's only the front seat floor mats. After the cleaning, soiled spots remained on the seats and the vacuum job was mediocre. Went home, re-vacuumed, cleaned the soiled seat spots with an easy wipe of cleaner and shampooed the carpet mats myself. The carpets ran black water when I cleaned them. . . Maybe they just sprayed them with water? All the attached photos are of soil spots that came right out when I gave the car its second bath, no special chemicals or elbow grease. read more
