When I searched for nearby car washes, this place did not populate in my search oddly enough. Lucky for me, another Elite helped me to find what I was looking for! (Thanks, Allen!)
A car wash is a car wash, right?
Wrong.
I was specifically seeking a self-service wash with bays for high pressure washing with water only. (Soap + vehicle clear coat = bad.)
This place fits the bill. For $2.00 in the self-service bays, you get four minutes of whatever wash cycles you choose with the spray gun...and the foamy brush too, if that's your thing.
For me, four minutes is just enough to spray away all the road grime and bug goo...perfect for the in between wax details.
I also loved I could steal some shade on one side of the wash to hand dry my vehicle. Although, others had the same idea, and the shade is limited. Again, lucky for me, they were gone by the time I was ready to dry my chariot.
I believe I counted six, DIY bays -- two on one side of the auto washes, and four on the other. The auto washes comprise of touchless and soft touch. There are also multiple vacuum bays, which I did not utilize on this trip.
The only drawback is the layout; small spaces to maneuver in and out of, and if it had been any busier, I wouldn't have been able to move my vehicle to the "wrong" side, in the shade. read more
