I paid $85 to have my little sedan totally detailed. The guy spent three hours on it; you'd think it would have been perfect, right? Well, it wasn't. He didn't do any of the interior glass, didn't do the dashboard, didn't do around the radio; I had to bring the car back the next day to get that done, and he STILL didn't do the dashboard but at this point I'm just over it. Further lack of attention to detail involved (I watched this happen) using the pressure washer to wash around the open trunk, thereby getting everything inside the trunk wet, including several books. Also in the process of everything getting done, my phone charging cord went missing. Overall, I was a bit disappointed for the price. read more

Step back! Avoid! Stay AWAY! Do not do business with this car wash! Horrifying service, nasty attitude, threatening manner by the owner and negative, hostile behavior by the owner and his buddies who hang out here. THEY DAMAGED my PERFECT INTERIOR and refused to resolve it IN ANY WAY. This man is a sociopath. This business, the owner, and this entire operation is a blot on businesses in this area. I scheduled for a full Detail of my Volvo when I knew they would not be rushed or hustling to cut corners on the job. I keep my vehicle uber-clean, tidy and always clear of any rubbish or dirt. So it was intense detailing I needed and scheduled. Also, I know my car: Ordered special wood veneer on the central panel around the gear shift -- clean, sleek and perfect condition. When I enter the car after the super-swift detailing, 3 scratches are evident on the wood veneer that were not there before. Immediately: Attitude, menacing attitude and hostility from the owner. He is defensive, negative and downright nasty with me. But: He observes the damage AGREES HIS STAFF MADE THIS DAMAGE and advises me to submit the Insurance Estimate on repairs and his company will repair it. Weeks go by after I submit the repair bill of $890 for a new wood veneer panel. This arrogant, selfish and self-righteous bully NEVER DOES A THING. HE will DAMAGE or DESTROY the beauty of your vehicle and then threaten and bully you OUT OF your fair recompense. I hope he suffers immense pain from the fraud, lying, and scheming he has done from his corrupt business practices and his blatant manipulation of others and of the truth through karma. I took my husband's truck to get it cleaned on 6/16/20. The outside wash was decent but the inside cleaning/wipe down was terrible. Wasted money. I've been here in the past and it's always the same, so although I prefer to support local businesses, I won't go back. read more

I'm very disappointed!! Today was the first time I ever came, waited 30 mins in line.. they did not do a good job at all, when I got my car back the whole middle/radio part was still dirty! I said something, then I looked out & soap was still on the bottom of my passenger door. Got in my car full of oil grease I HAD to RE-wipe everything! read more

I may edit this, as I'm still waiting for my car, but so far I'm impressed! For $14 they are going to wash the exterior, vacuum, clean the door jambs, wipe the interior with a damp cloth, and dry it. Looking at the cars getting further detailed, and they all look fantastic! Not sure if they paid extra, but if they did, it looks worth it from the outside. Not the fastest, but they have limited space, and tons of staff working hard and quickly! From pulling in to leaving, I was here a total of 17 minutes! Not bad at all, they are drying it now, and it looks great! Thanks Starbrite, I'll be back! read more

Bought the most expensive wash and detail. It was awful. Streaks everywhere, interior looked like a bucket of armor all was just thrown at the dash. Only covered part of the dash and trim. Had to re wipe everything. No clue why people would go here. read more

Starbrite always does an excellent job with our vehicles. They are very easy to get to on Broad St. and several of the attendants have been with them for some time. It's not like seeing a new teenager messing with your car every time you pull up. Their price is good compared to a couple other "hands on" car cleaners in town and they even have a special when you get your car cleaned so many times you get a free cleaning. The facility is older but kept clean and the staff that does the drying are very thorough and not rushed. I am always pleased for the price- and people ask frequently-where I get my cars cleaned? Because the cleaning is well done. read more

My husband bought me a gift certificate for a full $150 detail job from Starbrite for our family SUV. Ok, before you laugh, this is the PERFECT gift for me. I'm the woman who endlessly bemoans having a dirty "mom car" littered with crayons and Cheerios. So I made an appointment on a Saturday, as that's the only day of the week I am able to leave my car for half a day. On Wednesday or Thursday of that week, the guy apparently in charge of the detailing or scheduling, Trevor, called me to let me know that they could not keep the appointment because of a death in the family. Well, I respect a small business and so I didn't make a fuss at all. I called back to reschedule for the next Saturday. On Tuesday, Trevor left me another voicemail that said "Hey Melissa, this Saturday will be fine, we'll see you around 8:30. If anything changes let me know." Great! We were all set. We left the baby at home with a relative and drove our two cars, toddler in tow, up to Starbrite this morning. As my husband took the carseats out of my car, I waited a few minutes in line for the woman-acting-as-cashier (according to their sign, they're hiring for a cashier, so she may be a wife or mom filling in) to finish talking to the customer in front of me, and proudly displayed my gift certificate. She looked shocked. "Oh you have to make an appointment for that." "I did," I said proudly, "Today. With Trevor." She replied, "We don't have anyone scheduled today and we're too busy to do this today. Are you sure he meant today?" She called Trevor on her phone and informed me that he said he meant NEXT Saturday. Hmmm, no I'm pretty sure he said today. She let me talk to him. He stated that he meant next Saturday and would that be ok? "Well no, not really," I said, and motioned to my husband to stop the carseat exchange outside. You know, I'm flighty and forgetful, so I assumed that I had heard the voicemail wrong. I told my husband we would just have to come back, but he was understandably pissed. I decided to listen to my voicemail again. I was actually a little surprised that it was NOT my misunderstanding - the voicemail specifically said "THIS Saturday". Husband went inside and asked for a refund, she said she couldn't give one, he threatened to sue, and she gave a refund. We took toddler to the park, and on the way there I called a local mobile detailing guy I know who does an AMAZING job (and for almost half the price, I might add). So what did we learn from this? For me, I will never be going back to Starbrite. Two appointments not kept with me is too many. For Starbrite? Well, I'm a small business owner myself. I deal with people on a daily basis who have expectations of me, and I have to make them happy to keep their business and their positive word of mouth. Let me tell you what should have happened at Starbrite this morning, and something that would have resulted in a positive review from me: The woman at the counter realizes there's been an error. Worse, it's THEIR error. "Just hang on. We'll get you taken care of today. Our usual detail guy is NOT here. Would you accept a lighter detail job at our cost today, and your full certificate next weekend? I don't want you to leave today with nothing." Because guess what? I don't give a sh.. about the line of cars out to the street. "We're too busy to do this today." = wrong answer. As a representative for that company, you make SURE that you service the person who has paid $150 for a detail job before you service people paying $20 for a wash. I put a high value on keeping my car clean and I would have been a loyal customer as long as we're in Murfreesboro. As it stands, I am disappointed in the crappy response to their mistake and I will never go back. I hate it because this Trevor seemed like a really nice guy on the phone, but guess what guys? This is business, and there are too many other choices people can make. You treat a customer like you don't have time for them, and they'll find someone who does. read more

Paid for the $15 wash. They didn't vacuum the backseat or wipe down the dash completely. I had to leave and go to another car wash and finish it myself. I feel like I paid $15 just for a hand dry. read more

I went there today and got the most expensive car wash on the board with a trunk vacuum. They did a rush job and there wasn't even anyone there but me. They did a half assed job of cleaning the inside there was street ok dirt on the seat and on the carpet. The outside still had water on it and it was suppose to be hand dried. This is the worst car wash in town. Do not go here. read more

So fairly new to the Murfreesboro area and have never been to this car wash because for me to get there I have to go through the MESS which is the intersection of Broad/Memorial. I had both sides of my bumper scuffed up with some paint from people hitting my kill, but figured with the right people it should buff right out. I stopped in to see what they could do to help me. The guy whipped out some chemicals and buffed the scratches right out in a matter a minutes and said don't worry about it. I was extremely happy about this and thought the least I could do was get a car wash. The lady working the desk was very friendly (along with the guy who helped me originally) and when it was finished the guy doing the hand drying was just as friendly and also informative about some of the dirt issues I have on my car. The job they did was perfect, the staff was very friendly and even if I have to do with the craziness of the overbridge intersection this will be the place that I get my car washed each and everytime. read more

I took my SUV to Starbrite today as I have done for many years now. I opted for the best service they provide (not the full detailing). I paid the lady at the counter over $25.00. When the said they were through, I opened the door to the back and there was dirt everywhere. They had never touched it, not even vaccum it out or clean the back side windows. I don't even think they opened the back door. One of the gentleman came over and I showed him and he took it back to do the job right. When I got home and opened the rear door I became furious and disgusted, as the dirt was still there and the rear windows were not even clean. When I opened the side doors, the carpet was still very dirty from surface trash. They never even took the floor mats out and cleaned them. This is the worse car was I ever had from them or any other car wash. Don't go to them, of if you do, check their work out before you leave their place and pray. George read more

I just went to Starbrite Car Wash; for the first time. My car was very dirty inside & out as a result of a long trip. They worked so hard in the blazing heat and my car was returned to me looking so good. The price was very reasonable & I got the most expensive plan. This carwash is great! I've had a detail and wash done here many times! I have extremely difficult seats to clean (cloth) and water even stains them. When I bought my used car, it had many "permanent" stains... they got them all out! Family run! Love this place! read more

I WILL NEVER GET MY CAR DETAILED HERE AGAIN. I paid $135 for a complete detail. My experience was horrible. They convinced me like they would blend my minor scratches but that didn't seem to have worked. They called and told me my car was ready but it really wasn't. I waited on them to finish wrapping up. My carpet and mats were still wet when I pulled off. It caused my car to have an odor so I took it back up there and they fixed the problem. I honestly think they just played with my damn car. Because I was no where near satisfied. Please find another location when looking to get a detail. read more
