Honest people. Purchased car from them for a descent price. Drove it for two years without any issues.

Jay, the owner, provided multiple options around the price range we were aiming for and was extremely helpful with the buying process. When we arrived he had the cars ready to see and walked through them with us in detail. Jay is extremely reliable and was a man of his word when it came to having necessary paperwork completed by and when the car would be ready to drive away! Which was really important for us! He took care of both registration & the title which swiftly came in the mail a little over a week after purchase. A one month warranty was included and Jay checked in several times throughout that month to ensure everything was going great with my car Even after the month if I had any questions he was open to answer & helping! I've now had my car for 8 months and she is running perfectly! I can't thank Jay & Campo Auto Center enough for my amazing car buying experience and I definitely recommend coming here to others!

We selected a car, took a test drive and liked it. Asked if he'd let our mechanic look it over and he was super friendly and accommodating- partnered with them to schedule and took it over. They noticed one issue and reported to him and me - he also told me about it and got it fixed quickly. The purchase was easy and my son loves the car!

My $19,000 car broke down after 1.5 weeks. Got stranded, would not turn on…read more DO NOT BUY LUXURY VEHICLES HERE Unethical. $19,000-S5 2008 (market value is $12,000-$15,000), test drove the car multiple times (familiar with car) purchasing above market value expecting this car to be in excellent condition. 1.5 weeks after purchasing car-of course, NO WARRANTY-AS IS, the car doesn't start up. Not even 2-weeks after purchase. Contacted Import Auto Outlet, said they could help. After many emails the dealer said he could refund me $300 for a $3,000 repair. His "mechanic" is only ASE certified. Unfortunately luxury cars need specialist for specific torque pressures and so on. They could not provide me with any credentials that this mechanic had a certificate to work on Audi. Long story short after $4,000 bringing her in for repair here it is (I will attach pictures as well): - car was missing a crankshaft bolt!! (which is the central part of a car "heart", which is the timing of the cars engine) which Audi told me that it may not be the same if i were to fix- haven't fixed yet it costs too much. ($3,000+) - the pulley tensor will soon need to be replaced ($1,000+) - the car needed a NEW STARTER! (paid $3,000) - the water pump had a lot of corrosion and was leaking (paid $1,000) - they over filled the oil I would suggest selling your cars at the value they are worth, this car was in FAIR condition and should have been sold much cheaper. If you have a general ASE certified mechanic working on these luxury cars, that a big NO get someone certified in the car needing a repair. A lot of professional shops turned me down and could not work on this luxury car.

I was originally going to give them 5 stars because I felt like they really worked with me and…read morehelped me out through my situation. Then after I got a car from them (2008 Scion tC) in January of this year (2018) literally 2 weeks after I bought the car, the check engine light came on. I took it to a Toyota dealership and of course the lights went off every time I was going there. 2nd, the car burns oil so fast I have to fill up a quart every week! Third, the clutch is on it's way out, the slave master cylinder is going out and I'm also hearing a clicking noise from the transmission whenever I take off. And Fourth, my engine is going to need a rebuilt , I can hear the knock especially when I'm driving at 2,500rpm. I then looked at a lot of the reviews of this place (what I should've done in the beginning) and saw the really bad ones and how much they outweigh the good. At first I was going to refer a friend here, but another dealership saw my license plate and said "Ooooh that place has a really bad reputation" To add on to that, my interest rate is 24%, when they told me it would be lower. The finance company calls me all the time though I'm not behind on any payments. If you aren't ready for at least a few thousand dollars in repairs, don't go to this place! Now I'm stuck with a lemon and I still have 2 more years with this loan.

This place almost got 3* from me, but I'm getting ahead of myself…read more My last car was totaled and I was in the market for a new car, and settled on a 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. Grand Auto had one at a reasonable price, so I came to check it out. I liked it, and I was ready to haggle for the price, but apparently the person on the phone told me the wrong price. Like $1,000 lower wrong price. They did the right thing and honored that price. It was very clear to me that this was not a tactic and a real mistake, so I was thrilled they were willing to sell at the incorrect price I was quoted. I picked up the car the next day after getting a check, and I mentioned how one of the tires was so bad I'd need to get a new one. The owner told me to come back next week and he'd have a better tire for me. Wow, great service! After I've already purchased it and everything! It took a few texts, but I came back and picked up the other tire. It wasn't much better than the one on the car, but it would buy me a bit of time. I paid to have it put on my car at a local shop, and the next day I discovered there was a nail in the tire. I sent the owner a picture and he promised he would make it right. He never did make it right. I sent him a few texts asking when I could come in and pick up the next tire, and he didn't write back. I can't be too mad because a) I got a great price, and b) he did try to make it right. But it just didn't sit right with me that he never texted me back. I gave him plenty of time to write back to me, but sadly he never did. Like I said, that almost earned him 3 stars, but he was so pleasant through the rest of the car-buying process, I'll be generous and give them 4 stars as I'd be fine with buying a car from them again.

Paykan Auto in San Diego? Oh man, buckle up, because you just asked for the…read moreyou-can't-handle-the-truth truth about these guys. Most mechanics in SD see a car with a weird noise, a dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree, or something that's been Frankenstein-ed together from three different continents, and they immediately hit the panic button: "Nah, too complicated, take it to the dealer," or "That's gonna cost you an arm, a leg, and your firstborn." They run faster than you do when someone yells "free In-N-Out." But Paykan Auto? These legends look at that same nightmare job--the timing belt on a 20-year-old import that's been babied by someone who thinks "maintenance" means prayer, the transmission that's been slipping since the Obama administration, the electrical gremlins that make your car randomly play polka music--and they just crack their knuckles and say, "Challenge accepted." They've been fixing cars (and selling solid used ones) at 5486 El Cajon Blvd for years, with reviews screaming honesty, fair prices, and straight-up wizardry. One person literally said their family has used them as mechanics for 15+ years while buying multiple cars there. Another called Hadi and the crew "THE BEST!!!!" They tackle the stuff that makes other shops sweat: weird European mods, beat-up daily drivers on their last legs, you name it. It's like if Jack Reacher was a mechanic--quiet, no BS, gets the job done right, and leaves you wondering why everyone else is so scared of hard work. You roll in thinking your car's doomed, you roll out thinking, "Wait, that was actually affordable AND it drives better than when I bought it?" Truth bomb: In a city full of mechanics who ghost you harder than a bad Tinder date, Paykan Auto is the rare shop that doesn't flinch. They handle the repairs everyone else runs from... and they do it with a smile, fair pricing, and zero drama. If your car's throwing a tantrum that would make a toddler jealous, take it to Paykan. Just don't blame me when you become one of those people who starts every story with, "These guys at Paykan fixed my [insert horror story here] like it was nothing." (Pro tip: Call ahead--Hadi and the team are busy saving San Diego's sanity one scary repair at a time.)
