My husband and I have 4 children so we were looking for a new (used) car. We explained to the…read moresalesman Jeremy that we had very limited funds and need something reliable. He showed us an explorer he just received saying that even though the outside and inside of car was very disgusting looking that it drove great. He goes on to explain its very reliable, even just had the transmission completely rebuilt at a car shop that has a location in town (BG&S Transmission). In fact it used to be his friends car. Only issue was the overdrive button needed to be replaced but it was a simple fix that would cost no more then $150. The car was $1,500 but that seemed do able so we purchased it. A week later we started having major issues with the car turning on so my husband's co-worker who is also a mechanic said he'd look at it. He told us the transmission was going out. So we took the car to BG&S whom we were told rebuilt the transmission. They looked at the car and advised the transmission is in fact going out and would cost $2,000 to replace. In addition they have never worked on this vehicle. We went and spoke to the car salesman who now is saying he NEVER had the car looked at by a mechanic and was only repeating information that his friend told him. So he had to call his friend about where she had the work done.(which I have a video of the conversation with him!) She gave him a different shop name. So We called that mechanic and he also said he never rebuilt the transmission only replaced a few parts with other used parts because that's what she requested. We immediately called the car dealer about this (video of this conversation also). He told us that there was nothing he could about it and it was our own fault. Only thing he's willing to do is have us get the work done at his shop at cost for $800. Why would be give this man whom already lied to us more money that we don't have! This car was sold under false pretenses and the salesman ripped us off!!!

I bought a pre owned Jeep Cherokee 2 years ago from Tom Dinsdale in Hastings Nebraska, within a…read moremonth it was in the shop twice due to electrical system issues (the whole dash cluster would light up like a christmas tree, the car would loose power and nothing would work). however because they couldn't "simulate" this issue either time they just did nothing and told me to rush it in as soon as it did it next....because I control when I happens apparently. so here it is 2 years later and I'm sick of it. I paid for all the warrenty's they had to offer and I still had to pay for them to check my codes. I took it in today finally and they said it would be there all day, when I asked for a loaner I was told they had none to offer me as the man Infront of me got the last one they had (weird he drove away in a brand new truck with dealer tags not the courtesy cars they use) but he knew everyone in there by first name...i called my step daughter who happens to work for this dealer and guess what!? I got offered a loaner to use! I shouldnt have to call and complain before I get offered a service that I was told would be available to me when I got all the warranty's when buying my car! so frustratin. I haven't gotten my car back yet today and I can only imagine what they will tell me is wrong now after driving it for two years ‍

Check in on-line, garage door opens automatically when you pull up, finish checking in at the kiosk. Scott came to get my keys and basically shooed me out. The cashiers were not any more pleasant. 1,000 miles on my Acadia and they wouldn't warranty the battery. This is my 1st and last purchase from Dinsdale, and I'll definately get service elsewhere.
