I had minor work to have done on my front bumper. They advised me it would take no more than 2 days, so I found alternate transportation for those two days only. I dropped my vehicle off the friday before they were going to work on the car. That Tuesday I had called to see if it was ready for pick up and they stated it had just gone into paint and should be ready the following morning. Since I'm a working mother and my husband commutes over an hour in the opposite direction, this was already an inconvenience. However, it was only an extra day, so I figured something out for transportation. At my lunch break, I called them to make sure it was ready and they put me on hold for 15 minutes, and Dave who picked up the call was very rude and told me it just came out of paint and to call back at 4. I had called back at 4 and was placed on hold again and then Dave told me it was just done with paint (third time I was told this) and that it should be ready tomorrow. I expressed to him that I needed to know if it would truly be ready the following day as I"m running out of options for transportation and he gave me an attitude. Finally, it was done being painted at 4pm on that Thursday! The work looked good, so that was the only reason for the 2 stars. I would have been more understanding and pleased if they didn't give me the run around. I would have been more understanding had they called me on Tuesday and said "hey, I'm sorry we are running behind it looks like it's going to be an extra two days".. but the fact that I had to keep calling and they kept telling me it had just come out of paint was really irritating. I will probably never go back to Portsmouth Auto Body based on the poor customer service.

I also have a Honda Fit, it is discontinued and the parts are sometimes a problem. NOT FOR THESE GUYS! In a week my car was adjusted, pulled to the shop, and repaired. A week later - as good as new. WOW. It took me three weeks in CA to fix the bumper ;) They updated me every single day on the progress, provided the test drive on pickup, quietly arranged the rental return... They even asked if i need help to transfer the stuff from the rental :)! Absolutely recommended, go with these guys! They also are very conveniently located right by the highway.

After the unfortunate experience of getting punted into another vehicle on the highway, I sent my car to Committed for repair. With extensive damage to the front and rear of my vehicle, I was nervous about getting the car repaired at all (versus written off), knowing vehicles are never quite right after an accident. Those fears were quickly put to the side after talking with Bryan, the owner of the shop. He gave me a call right away, telling me his approach to the business and plan for the car. As a side note, I find it hard to find anyone who really cares about their quality of work these days, and it was immediately clear with Bryan that he stands out from the rest. I literally can not say enough good things about this business, but here's a few highlights of my experience. - Called right away to talk me through the process and give me a timeline - Literally spent an hour going through all that was repaired - Extremely communicative and responsive throughout the process - When they said they would do something, they followed through exceptionally well, and without me having to bring things back up - After there was a delay in getting the car done due to unforeseen circumstances, they did everything they could to make it up to me, including and certainly not limited to offering a rental at no cost, working after hours (which I can attest to), and dropping the car off at my home. I will note that I am very particular and have the potential to a pain in the side if anything goes wrong. I did not worry once with Committed and literally got my car back in better shape than it was in before the accident, for which I am extremely grateful.
