Heard from a friend to check this place out. Talked to the guys there and they made this process so easy for window tint. I called and the appointment was booked super soon. They even opened up a little early so I can make it to work on time. I knew I wanted limo (5%) in the back but wasn't sure about the legal stuff up front. They were excellent in letting my me know the legal limit, and they warned me about how dark I should go. The tint came out great all around and I've been referring people there when asked where it was done. I also had speakers put in and was promised it would be an hour to hour and a half and they got it done in 45. And it sounded great, and I checked the wiring and stuff at home and it was clean. I arrived at the business and talked with Nate about tinting my vehicle (16 Honda Accord). Nate was very knowledgeable about the Maddico tint and was able to explain the products pros & cons. He also explained they are one of the only tint companies that utilize a machine that cuts the tint to your vehicle specs. Meaning they do not use any razor blades to cut the tint on the vehicle. After talking with Nate, I felt confident on their expertise with installation of tint on my vehicle. They are extremely busy and Davie was able to squeeze me in on a Saturday morning. They are normally closed on the weekends but had to finish up some other jobs. On arrival, Davie was kind enough to drop me off at my house. As promised the car was tinted and I had no issues with the installation. It has been a week since the install and I see no issues with the installation of the tint. I'm fairly new to the area, and recently picked up a new car. The first thing I usually do to a new car is get the windows tinted. I asked a few car enthusiasts at work who does GOOD window tint in the Camarillo/Oxnard area, and they pointed me towards Auto Obsessionz. I stopped in their shop one morning and casually walked in and was immediately greeted by one of 2 gentleman who worked there. I asked him a few questions about getting the work done, he said he could do exactly what I asked for, and then took me around to show me some of their work. I liked what I saw and made my appointment. They weren't booked at the time, so they got my car in the shop within 48 hours, if I recall. On tint day, I called ahead to make sure we were still good for the time we discussed, and we were, so I dropped the car off. The work was done about 2 1/2 hours.The tint job was near perfect. To be honest, I am not sure I have ever seen a PEFECT tint job. I am a perfectionist and can pick anything apart if I want to. But anyway, at first, the tint looked goofy like it always does (undried fluid under the film) but it cleared up in 24 hours like it should. I found one area of tiny imperfections in a hard to reach area on the back window. I was told that if I found anything I didn't like, I could bring the car back, and he would peel the tint and redo it. The area I mentioned is so small, I won't even bother. It is a very nice tint job by my standards. I would rate the job 9.5/10. Again, I am not sure I have ever seen a 10. I'm sure there is 10 out there somewhere though. In closing, I like the guys that did the work. I liked their attitude, and the work was on point. The price was reasonable and I would gladly give them my business again and would recommend them to anyone. Now, I have to say to the service members complaining about a military discount to drop the sense of entitlement already. 10 bucks is 10 bucks, take it or leave it. No business owes you anything. After searching around the area and getting recommendations from friends and colleagues, I decided to get clear wrap paint protection for my Porsche from Auto Obsessionz. As it's an expensive and difficult procedure to complete, I wanted to make sure I chose the best around. Their good reputation is well earned, and I am 100% satisfied with how everything went. Before getting my car wrapped, Nate took the time to consult with me his recommendations as well as answering my concerns and questions. His advice was honest and not a money-grab, as his recommendations also included doing less in some areas that could cause issues years down the line. For example, the headlights on my Porsche have a fragile UV clearcoat on them that can get damaged by the application and removal of clear wrap. Nate advised not to wrap them, and 10 years later if I want to recondition the headlights, he can perform the sanding, buffing, and re-coating. The application of clear wrap was done very well, with precision cuts and perfect contouring on the car's complex curves. The wrap material itself is top-notch, with a warranty longer than I expect to ever need and ability to repel moisture like an expensive wax sealant. I have piece of mind that my car is well protected for years to come. Furthermore, the cost was competitive with other shops that would probably cut corners to get such low prices. I called today for a quote, the conversation started off well but as soon as I asked if they offered military discount it went downhill. He said he would knock off $10 I said ok he then said "or I can just not take $10 off and charge the full $220 instead of $210." Asking if they have military discount is a common question that needs a simple response yes or no there was no need to be rude. I wasn't asking for free work I would have been a potential customer and would have referred all my military friends but with that asshole attitude I'd recommend driving to Ventura for a nice experience getting your windows tinted. read more

They gave me a huge military discount and the job was inly 135.00 for the whole car plus they had to scratch and peel all the old tint off too. I have gone to other tint shops like Precision Tint in TO only to be ripped off and disappointed. 2015 Jetta SE. My new car not even two weeks old when I searched out a auto specialist. Found this company as I searched "Window tinting Ventura County". I spoke to Dave and he gave me some introduction to his shop over the phone and made it sound easy. Invited me to come in and view an install of wrap and tint on a new GTI. Stopped in and met with Dave and Nate. No nonsense. Great work and ability shown right in front of my eyes. Easy to make an appointment. Took my car in. Gave me a ride back home. Had the car ready before the time they quoted. What I had done? Back window nice and dark, back doors not as dark and other places even less. Headlights, door sills, door cups, door edges all treated to 3M film. Flawless. Better install quality than others I had seen from others in the VC area. They don't use exacto knives and box cutters on your vehicle. My interior showed no evidence of the work. All cleaned up. No streaks or water spots on the seats or interior plastic. Price was lower than I thought it would be. They can quote you when you talk to them. They do get more competitive as you bundle up jobs on one visit. I couldn't be happier with my experience. I will be going back for the hood, fenders and more. Also have received compliments on the work. Funny as I mention to friends who are into their cars, they either had their word done by Auto Obsessionz or are very familiar with Dave and Nates expertise. I did't want to be the one to tell them that they spelled "obsessionz"wrong, but however they spell it they are great. I See that Auto Obsessionz received good reviews, and they probably done great work, but that was not my experience. I had a 12:30 PM appointment on April 18 and since I don't like to arrive at my appointments late I show up at 12:00 PM. I never learned the guys name that took care of me (I mean the one that looked up my appointment).But he told me that that were running late and I had to be pushed back to 2- 2:30 PM. I stressed to him that I was from Westchester county and his response was I could go to the galleria and walk around. Well after an hour drive to his of business and I was not a happy camper. If they were running late he could have contacted me before I even set out to his place. So I cancelled my appointment and I couldn't believe that he asked me if I wanted to reschedule, my first thought was you didn't keep the first appointment why would I make another. I never experienced their workmanship, because I felt that my time was to important to be wasted like it was.
