When he did speak it was clear he had done his homework. His primary concern was to make it right. J.R. spoke a little about his business and how he wants to continue to build on a core of trust. I'm paraphrasing a little here, but that was the gist. He offered to reimburse my charges associated with the pump installation. It was at that point I became certain this business was operated by a sincere person. Instead of taking the reimbursement it seemed the thing to do was to give them another chance. My Nissan pickup had some trouble with its heating system. It seems my vehicles coincidentally both had problems with this system. Anyway, they fixed it quickly and without incident. J.R. would not accept payment for this work. I will continue to bring them my business whenever possible because they have earned it. Regardless of the impression I had after my first visits I have come to understand fairness is one of their core values. Sometimes it's the second impression that is most reliable.

It also had a minor oil leak but nothing my mechanic can't repair. It handles well and the 4x4 drive was a must for TN winters and hauling Jeeps out of ditches. There is a service bulletin for that requires a transmission flush resolve the issue. They call on Wednesday telling me is also needs a torque converter. The cost for everything was $6000 and should be done Friday so, I agreed to have it done. Don't hear anything else from them so, I called the service writer late Friday afternoon. He said the part just came in that morning and it would be done Tuesday. Don't hear anything from them again. I call late Tuesday afternoon and they told me the part just came in and would be done Thursday. So, one of the times they lied to me about the part. It was finished on Thursday. I get there to pick the truck up and they added an additional $180 because I was paying with a credit card. For someone that is retired and doesn't have a ton a cash sitting around it would have been real nice to know about the extra charge before I went up there. Part of doing service is communicating with the customer. They failed terribly at that. I hope now that they actually fixed it because I don't want to go back there,
