very poor customer service. I recently called this company to see if they were the same company which use to be on birchmount road, as i had two vehicles worked on there. I heard a male voice pick up the phone and i asked my question. The person on the other end yelled at me then hung up the phone. (i was confused at this point). I called back only for the phone to be picked up and slammed back down. I called a third time a male picked up the phone saying "fried chicken" i asked if this was autolinks, the male said that it was autolinks and what i wanted, i then said i was called to get some work done on my car but i was very confused as to why i was being treated this way. i then said bye and hung up. i have no idea why this company would treat a customer like this. i also have no idea why a company who says that they pride themselves on customer service would pick up a business line phone and answer in such a manner. from this i learned that this company is not a professional company, i will have no further dealing with them. read more

I brought my one week old 2015 Audi s3 to AutoLinks to get a 35% tint and a 2 channel dashcam installation with a power magic pro. Everything went smooth as butter. The tint installation was top notch, looks like it was factory smoked glass as my brother in law said. The dashcam was setup to record for 24hrs after the vehicle was turned off. So if someone messes with your car or hits it you will have it on camera. The wiring was all hidden from view and the installation looked very clean. Jonh was extremely helpful and very courteous when I had to take my car in for a warranty issue, they were trying to pawn off the issue to the dashcam. I got in touch with John via email and he was very helpful regarding the issue even though he was on vacation and Autolinks was closed during that time. In the end the dealer did the diagnostic tests and sorted out the issue with the vehicle. The thing most company's now lack is customer service, good service will make or break a company in my opinion. Because you will base your experience on that and then you will decide if you will recommend them or not to your friends and if you will bring your next ride back to them. I'm very weary of Auto Tint places. It's so easy to mess up a tint job, with either inferior materials or bad workmanship where you end up with bubbling and trapped hairs/dust. I specifically crossed the city, coming from Brampton thanks to the positive reviews I had heard of Auto Links. After finalizing details, including the need for a dash-cam hard wired install, I booked for a weekday afternoon. Service was top-notch. Staff was VERY friendly. Softdrinks and coffee was offered, and car went into workshop straight away. Upon job completion, complete walk-around of vehicle with full explanation of how to treat new tint. It's been a week now, time enough for the tint to cure mostly. No noticeable bubbling or trapped items. Tint looks VERY nice. I cannot recommend these guys enough. I normally don't ever write reviews but I thought it would be fair to do so, I had my car tinted with them 15% pinnacle all around and it looks amazing great job took a little bit longer then expected but that's fine rather have the job done right! Few weeks later I decided to come back to them because they are dedicated in what they do so I had them install my subwoofers and amp which was a hard job but they pulled it off took a while, overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get the job done right for a great price, friendly staff and well experienced, I put 4 stars only because they take longer then they say. Customer Engagement -------------------------------------- I have a 2018 Toyota Sienna and wanted to get the clear bra (plastic protection film) put on the front of the hood. I called Auto-links because of their good rating and got Shaun on the call, I was on their website while talking with him, altogether he spent 30 minutes with me patiently explaining and listening to which parts of the van I wanted done and also educating me on Feynlab Ceramic coating (which I was interested in but didn't know the how's and why's). This engagement with a potential customer got them my business, not only for the paint protection film, but also for Feynlab Ceramic Coating and Window Tint for the front-two windows - I love the shade as it matches the factory shade and is much lighter (just the way I wanted). Heck, they even threw a few freebies in for me by adding the protection film on certain small parts of the car and some goodies as parting gifts. They even negotiated a good price for me as I utilized three services with them, paint protection film, tint and ceramic coating. Eagerness to work ------------------------------ Shaun booked an appointment with me at their first convenience and took the delivered the car on schedule. John is very talented and humble (doesn't take credit for the awesome work he does) and the workmanship is outstanding. Attention to detail and they truly love what they do -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I had left my van early in the morning before the shop opened and then called to confirm if they had started, Shaun gave me an update and also told me that (even though the van is less than a couple months old) it had very small stone ships in a couple places in the front of the car. Amazing attention to detail and since I live far and it was a weekday, he went to Toyota and bought the matching touch-up pen before any detail work commenced. Who does this? The people who enjoy and are proud of their reputation. I was dumbfounded and of course (as rightfully I should) I asked Shaun to add the touch-up pen in the invoice - after all they have a business to run. Finished product --------------------------- Folks, trust me, the van looked sharper, shinier and...well, simply beautiful when I went to pick it up. I reached later on Friday night, they were still working (on other vehicles) and had a smile on their face, I delayed their closing by at least an hour, not one complaint...these are young men, it's Friday night, I'm sure they had places to go, but they were busy working. You know what that tells me, they're serious about what they do, they love it and it shows. If I can revisit this post and attach a picture at a later time, I will do that, so you guys can see their amazing work. I would recommend Auto-links Scarborough to anyone in my friends and family without a doubt. They're absolutely worth it, you won't regret utilizing their services/products.
