I have a nail in my tire caused by an air leak. We called this morning and were told to come "between 2:30 and 3". I bundled up all my kids and strapped them into their car seats in the snow and sleet and drove there at 2:44. I arrived and saw a sign on the door that said "gone for lunch, back in one hour." I drove back home and called, explained to them that we had just been there and had seen the sign, and asked if they were now open (assuming since someone was answering the phone, they were, in fact, open). The guy who answered then hung up on me when I told him that I thought it was extremely bad business to tell a customer to come at a certain time and then NOT be open.
I called back to ask to speak to the owner- the same guy who answered again claimed to be the owner, and stated that he hung up on me because I wasn't listening, and then claimed he told us to come at 3:30, not "between 2:30-3. That was an outright lie, and he continued to repeat his lie.
I was skeptical of even using their shop, because I've never heard anything good about them, but I did due to convenience of location. I'll be sticking with my regular repair shop. read more
